F**k you a&&hole, I grew up there and have visited several times throughout the 1990s and in 2001, just because Slovakia does not (yet) have the wealth and economic prosperity of a few bigger European nations does not mean we live like dirty mongrels. There's dirty, ignorant & uncivilized people living in any country but I challenge you to look up the literacy rate, quality of the educational system, technology & advanced medicine in Slovakia before you try even harder to loose friends on C&G. God damn you are a ignorant prick.

I understand that you have a kink in your neck and your wrist hurts, at least next time ask for knee-pads. :AH-HA_wink:

You know the whole world has gone mad...

After enjoying multiple beater B-bodies, esp. the RoadmOnster I really have gotten spoiled. The room, cushy ride, intimidation factor and bullet proof durability of my Buick works very well for me, I have been thinking quite a bit as of late about picking up late 60s to early 70s GM hardtop, pref. powered by a small eight or Chevy 250. -
Driving Away Excitement...G8 dead in 5 years
Sixty8panther replied to mustang84's topic in Heritage Marques
Predicting what will happen at GM in 5 years is a lot more difficult than predicting what will happen in the year 2250 based on a Mayan calendar/hieroglyphics. I hope to God this is absolutely false, but either way no one outside GM has any real idea where GM and Pontiac will be in 2013. These articles about the automotive industry are starting to sound more-n-more like those over-the-top political ads: "Candidate X is a role model, he was endorsed by Nelson Mandella, Mother Theresa, 1300 Jewish Rabbis living in NYC, the entire Denver Broncos & he even has a birthmark in the shape of Jesus on his chest, he wants to give you a tax break, free healthcare & will raise taxes for people who like to kick puppies and spit on the flag. Everyone else will pay less taxes, and you'll even get a Pony on your birthday. BUT Candidate Z will take away your social security, ship your job to North Korea & give your employer a tax break for doing so.... he once was quoted as saying that the only thing he likes better than war mongering is pushing his grandmother down the stairs! He is wrong for our country and he is wrong for you! Vote Candidate X, (I'm candidate X and I approve this message!) " -
What are they going to surrender now & to whom?

Yeah... agreed, shave the unibrow dude. And thanks for perpetuating the "Europeans are not big on hygiene" stereotype. Speak for yourself. Slovakians are, in general cleaner and more aware of hygiene than Americans.

Brazil? really? I'd say China, Japan & esp. the Eu are in a better position.

F R E E is my favorite4 letter word starting with an "F". Xp makes the exact same point I would. Dude, I WISh I was lucky enough to be offered a free car!

I have a couple mechanical pencils for sketching cars... (does not happen often) and there's an old dusty #2 sitting in my desk at work, even though I use a blue ballpoint or a black sharpie for most everything.

Yeah.... the sad part is that there's MUCh worse out there. Like people literally KILLING a classic car for no good reason.

Very cool. I still think Zeta is the $h!!
-
Very ,very, very cool. can I bring a sawzall & some window regulators, I'll just need the assembly line stopped for a few minutes.

Nice Pontiac. (even if it is modern and FWD)
-
- Indoor storage for the good/solid stuff restorative, parts cars... - Outdoor storage (no stacking) for the rotted to death lawn ornaments (too cool to crush, rotted like the Titanic) - Outdoor storage, lots of stacking crushing: Modern Japanese/English money pits.

So when are we getting a Firebird already!? C'mon GM... Spend a little more than the $3.57 per unit it takes to transform a Cobalt into a G5, give the Camaro a true Pontiac skin & voila! Tell me that would not make business sense!
-
if GM fu*ks up Mopar for it's own FWD-domination GME plans.... I'm NEVER buying a New GM again. Used 1920-60s GM classics for me and more Mercedes/BMWs for Julie! Dead serious!

There's an absolutely worn, and tired looking '50 Ford 4-dr sedan that's registered and driven by some guy who lives in these condos by UPS. I always glance over to see whether it's parked in it's usual spot, amongst the '05 Civics and '02 Corollas in the condo parking lot as I drive from UPS to my day job. I've never seen the car on the road and I assumed by the cracked window, tub of marvel's mystery oil and Lucas products in the back seat, 35-yer old gray primer and rocker panel patches that the car is only driven around town, probably at 35 mph with it's big, knobby John Deere-esque snow tires. Yesterday while Julie (Amelia still "in utero") Sofia and I were on a short roadtrip up Rt.495 when I see the car on the opposite side of the highway looking like it's trying to go for the Bonneville Salt Flats "stock 4-door" world record in all out speed. Seeing that Mad Max '50 Ford tearing up the highway put such a big smile on my face. Way cooler than the Ferrari 599-GTB I saw a week ago. Agreed. And those "procreation intervention" commercials ar so dumb, insulting and annoying they even annoy my pregnant wife, who the other day said: That's stupid, they should bring back the "Veeeehh-Duuhhhbbb!" German Rocket-scientist guy who destroys Hondas. I laughed in agreement! EDIT: I forgot to mention some other cool "spots" - 1930-31ish Ford Model-A 2-door sedan - 1964 Chevy Impala ragtop with high-jacker shocks. white/red-interior/white - 1st gen. (1964 iirc?) Malibu two-door hardtop - 2009 Challenger in a funky blue color... (repaint... it was KUZtom) - 1959-or was it 1960? Ford Thunderbird hardtop - early 1980s Mercury Zephyr TWO-DOOR. Talk about a SQUARE car! (not w/ the slanted C-pillar, 1979 style greenhouse) - Gorgeous fat-fendered 1937 Chevy 2-door 5-window Rumble-seat coupe... (stock exterior, all the bright-work, riding on a trailer shod with Hoosiers)

It's built off the Eldorado platform, hence the caddy wheels, engine, trans... This is a first for me, and it's funny how the guy who posted it is all "hate" when it's quite above average for a 1970s Italian car.

I've got a "rolodex" of specialty junkyards in my head, the plce I pot photos of from time to time... with all te 1950s cars, they even have cars with wooden wheels and such... Sadly for every super-cool junkyard I know of that exists I have three stories of junkyards that are long gone, but at one point were full of ultra-cool pre-war cars & such. One story involves a certain junkyard in Maine that was a toy-chest of fat-fendered pre-war cars, Model-Ts of ALL years/styles, coachbuilt professional cars, WWII era army trucks, 1950s HEMIs etc. One day some company from M-ass bought the junkyard and brought in an 18-wheeler crusher, a few days later, noting was left but memories.

For years I only dated OLDER girls/women. At 18 years old, I took a 21 year old to my high school senior prom... in College I dated a girl 1 year older than me for 4+ years, my ex Marcia was a year older as well but then I ended up married to Julie, who is 4 years younger than I, as my mother is 4 yrs younger than my dad, I hope that's a good sign, since my parents are celebrating their 30th anniversary in to weeks. I never resist a good MILF pr0n though.

Just curious: what ever happened to people being warned & then "banned" instead of a thread being locked? I remember Fly banning me from the forum for a week or two on multiple occasions when the fight about the (then hypothetical) 5th g. Camaro got out of hand. The threads stayed open, but I was not allowed to post on C&G at ALL for the duration of my "ban". TurboJet: I just poked around on your wesbsite.... some nice drawings, looks like most are based on photographs? The BMW Z8 & 1950s 507 is quite cool.

My all time favorite: O.B. How very typical of Honda-esque utopian propaganda. Was the driver of the Fit Mr. Clean?
