  1. yes.... oh my god.... I'm so... ^$$#@&*@&%! Damnit, damn my broke self with $0 expendable. Ok, it's 3:29am... I HAVE to drive off to UPS now, I'll try to forget all about this.
  2. Bugatti Veyron vs. Typhoon jet. 0-407 KMH
  3. While I agree with you about possibly a reason being given in the last post before a "lock" your question is quite irrelevant. The rule was keep your criticism, trash talk or abuse to the politicians, party, candidates or whatever... not other members. Longtoot and Satty decided to poke fun at me with jokes about safety nazi's taking away our right to ow a convertible, even if it DOES have a metal fixed roof. For the record I did not even see their posts until I checked the thread because of THIS one...
  4. hahaa.... yeah, that's why I never know if my buddy in Fountain Hills is 2 or 3 hours behind...
  5. Wow... that's NOT cool no matter what time of year. I hope they're STILL rotting in jail.
  6. Don't worry, soon B.H. Obama will take away all of our internal combustion cars, charge US the cost of the crushing/disposal & you'll be issued a solar powered Camry and we'll all live in a perfect utopia where we'll fart rainbows and incinerator smoke stacks ill spew only butterflies & bubbles.
  7. I almost never drink alcohol anymore.... but I walk like a broke kid in Brazil. (Mostly at UPS, back and forth from cage-to-truck)
  8. Things I am thankful for. My recent raise at UPS. Been there 14 months now. It's like a part of who I am now. I love rewarding work, when my 5+ hour shift is over & those four trucks (that I loaded) pull out of the building at 9:00 am I can honestly say I have positively contributed to society. With the right amount of caffeine, and a good work ethic it can be one of the best jobs you'll ever have. Back-breaking? Yes. Frustrating? Yes. Stressful? Yes. But there's something awesome about work like that... you'll never have more respect for a co-worker than when they work side by side with you, putting every single ounce of energy into their job... loading boxes onto the big brown trucks as if they were they were bombs going being loaded into the belly of a B-17 in 1943. I've made some amazing friends at UPS, the quality of the average UPS pre-loader tends to be very high in terms of character & work ethic, & the friendships you establish there are rooted in something the average outsider will never understand. I may not know everything there is to know about a few of the guys (and women, to be fair) who I work with, but our friendship & the level of respect we have for each other is MUCH stronger than at a typical white-collar job where you never really get to truly KNOW most of the people you work side by side with. ---- Also, I m thankful for my families' health, being able to drive a V8 and have my wife drive a V8, go out to eat from time to time, Lindt Milk Chocolate, Hazelnuts; esp. as combined with Lindt Chocolate & gourmet coffee, Raspberries; esp. as combined with Snapple Iced Tea & Lindt Chocolate, Dr.Pepper, Rob Zombie's kick ass music, and... oh-yeah! Sour Skittles. More later.
  9. WHAT energy plan???? The one where he is AGAINST domestic oil production and wants to talk ANOTHER big talk where he'll never be able to walk.... just more feel-good bull$hit.
  10. That just shows how idiotic our news networks are..... Who the F&*# decided her rant was relevant enough to show on air... on a news network? YES! Exactly... put that in your pipe and smoke it.
  11. Speaking of Ferraris I saw a Mondail the other day.... about as exciting as a Fiero. BUT, more interesting and exciting was a 1987-ish Pontiac Grand Prix that I saw in Danvers yesterday, i was black and had T-tops... I think that's pretty rare, I almost bought a MINT two-tone-burgundy, t-top 1986 Grand Prix back in 2002 but the anemic 305 broke the deal. I've been saying this for about a year now, but seriously, I've got a very strong craving for a Pontiac. I have not owned one since 2003.
  12. HOT! I like the rims, the lower fascia is just plain... too wide and cheap, almost rice-like. More and more I think there is a used G8 in my future, but I'd love to order up a G8-GT with a 6-spd. manual brand new.... I've got about $32,000 less saved up than that costs.
  13. Holy cow, you guys have it even better over there huh? The lowest fill up of 2008 for me was like $25 in the Mercedes and having over a half a tank since it was the Irving at $2.39. And, like Sunoco, Shell & Gulf, Irving is DOMESTIC OIL.
  14. 74GMTG: Any pics of your creation? Anyone else? Jack-O-Lantern pics....?
  15. Thanks KF.... anyone else enjoy the "art" of carving gourds?
  16. Aye 'supose its all relitiv'
  17. THAT may also be the ultimate "Balla mobile" to help keep Yoshi's pimp hand strong.
  18. Wow. Does Jay Leno know of this car's existence!? Now THAT is a d!ck extension!!!!
  19. wow... that's hotter than a milf in short-shorts. Love the "Big Al" nickname forthe car. Talk about a RADICAL chop. Must'ev used a camera to see outta the damn thing.
  20. QUOTE (66Stang @ Oct 27 2008, 05:02 PM) Lord God Almighty, I'd hate to see the "love child" of THAT union. Chris The Toyota drank way too much wine while pregnant and the baby came out with downs syndrome, you might have seen it actually, they named it Honda Ridgeline. (dear lord I really am going to hell for that joke ) ---- As far as the "Roadm0ster" it's an exercise in EXTREME bargain basement, no attention given to cosmetics, winter-beater turned daily driver bang/$$. I bought the car for $200 & as lord is my witness the TOTAL investment in it, when I install a brand new $67 heater core later this week, will be WAY under $500. Not including oil changes, gasoline, & naturally regisration & insurance. BEAT THAT. I should confess that some pro-bono floorboard patches were done a few months ago... SpeedingPenguin got a brand new welder for his birthday. If I had to pay for that repair I'd probably be at $700+ since even the most affordable welding shop would have asked for $200. Annnd, before I forget, XP715 stayed at my house, in the driveway until 2:30 am one morning to help me bleed the brakes after I installed a few new brake lines. Now THAT is a friend through thick and thin. He left, I cleaned up, took a shower and drove off to UPS. On ZERO hours, ney, minutes of sleep. That was a long day.
  21. I'm loving this car.... those headers, with their Siamesed inner pipes, look awfully pedestrian. (like the ones on my '68 Camaro's ZZ350) More, MORE, MORE!
  22. I seen dem truk nuts the other day on a Dodge Ram, the truk was blak but the nutz was blu like a po-lice light, I thuink it was been a few dayz since that Dodge rammed a Toyo-dur Tah-coma.
  23. LOL : That's our cat, well... technically my wife Julie's cat "Baby". She's an ALL white, long haired cat with one green eye and one blue one. She's a very affectionate cat, & quite bossy too. as my Julie puts it, "she thinks she's people"
  24. Hahahah.... I mentioned this one in a TXT to a buddy the other day about "if I won the lottery" hot rod projects.
