  1. Well, the styling certainly did not help sell these things.... that's for sure. Haven't seen or heard much about them at all except for a couple excerpts or mentions online.
  2. holy $hit... reason number 582,406,235,886 why I do not care to own a dog anymore. Holy hell good luck w. that.
  3. D.P. porn is one of the depraved, whoreish things that can be a turnon in some real wacky porn, but then there's just... too much. My god is DVDA even possible at all, never mind without a big sloppy gross man sandwish 4-high? Horrific
  4. everyone loves music... gift certificate to music store? or... AMMO! that would be a logical gift for someone who frequents the range.
  5. Exactly, just like every panicked jackass who (here in New England) runs to the supermarket to buy 12 gallons of water & a bunch of canned food when it is reported that we will get 4" of snow.
  6. Between the war in Iraq, and the overwhelming liberal bandwagon jumping by so many these days to paint Bush & Cheney as typical Republicans, add to that the fact that we've had 8 years of a Republican prez & it would have been a safe prediction that the Democrats would win this one, just a year ago it would have been my educated guess that a Democratic win would have been all but certain. But then Hil666ry Clinton and some noob who used to be an anti-American, community activist & goes to a church that rates in blatant racism at about the same scale as a typical white trash KKK-Podunk, duke it out for months & throw so much mud and undermine themselves to a degree where people with jackass tattoos on their chest are talking how the better choice this time around is going to be to vote for the moderate Elephant. Add to that a strong minded woman VP? It's all over. Like it or not, and trust me, I know McCain is no saint or even a great alternative to Bush, but he WILL win this election. Stop and think fora moment. ALL Republicans are either gladly voting for McCain or they're voting for him because they think McCain/Palin are the lesser of two evils. And a small chunk of people who are dyed-in-the-wool Democrats are going to get on board the McCain train simply because they are turned off my many of the radical left skeletons in Obama's closet, or his racist wife, or any other (if technically stupid) reason WHY they said that they either vote for Hillary or if she lost the nomination for Obama's rival. Many Democrats. you see, are petty and childish.... just like many Republicans. now.... what do I think of Sarah Palin? MILF! I'd hit that like a Kenworth W900 hauling California Redwoods with massive brake failure, going downhill.
  7. Yup... that's what I meant, the (Duel) Peterbilt was a "needlenose", didn't rememer 351 off the top of my head. I guess that tapered skinny nose is why they were nicknamed that, esp. compared to the wide, fat, flat-faced Mack tractors of the day. The Duel was a killer movie, seen it a few times. Te best part about that move was the patina and decades-of-filth look of that Pete, esp. with the railroad track welded to the front bumper. Just after I sold my '88 K-5 Blazer (1991 CUCV clone) my ex's grandmother said she was glad to see it go since it reminded her of "that creepy, tall truck that follows someone round in a scary movie and ends up killing them" I thought that was quite the complement. BTW: I much prefer the steel-roof of the '71 Cadillac versus vinyl.

    w000t!

still bored...? I found this funny, although the acting is atrocious the concept is a riot.
  9. I haven't heard the whole album yet but here's a simple fact: There will never be another "Master of Puppets" Cliff is dead, and the entire band has turned into a bunch of insane, high maintenance babies..... with their life-coaches and all that new-age bullcrap, eh.. whatever. I like what I have heard so far, ad while many Metallica fans disregard it as a "true metallica album" they said the same about the Black Album, which is also a little weakas compared to MoP & RtL but in any case it stll kicks the piss out of much of therest of today's music. One thing I did respect, back in the Load & (re)Load days was in an interview the band (well, Hetfield) said that they 're NOT going to keep rehashing the same musicjus because a lot of fans want a "Ride the lightning II" album...
  10. Terminal Frost - Pink Floyd (off the "Momentary Lapse of Reason" album, 1987)
  11. No big deal, heck I have a hard time keeping everyone's personal background straight on here... speaking of which a lot of members have been MIA for months now...
  12. oh boy.... actaully it looks to be a bad one, from the few clips that I just saw on the news..

    w000t!

Also, I've always wondered about he legality of one of those sticker/magnet license plates from Europe that you see on a lot of Exotic cars...
  14. Sixty8panther

    w000t!

yeah... "random w00t" & "Panhard" seemed to fit well in this case.
  15. Sixty8panther

    w000t!

    w00t for curved license plates.
  16. hahahah good times. I say 359,or needle-nose, or a K-W900, but to each his own.
  17. That is a Mercedes like the Caddy BulLShit is a modern day V12 LaSalle. The Germans should be ashamed.
  18. You'll see a rabbi eating a HAM sandwich & Superman putting on kryptonite boxer shorts before you ever see me "enjoy" a FWD car, well... a modern FWD car. I certainly would not pass up an affordable 1937 Cord 812 or '67 Cadillac Eldorado, but both of those are the complete antithesis of the Hon-duh "(I wanna have a) Fit." Siegen I know I started this silliness, so the semantics are my own fault but to be fair you forgot the savings on the old land yacht in terms of three very KEY areas: - WAYYYY cheaper insurace - sales tax that would be 5-10% of the new Honda, and same for yearly excise - the sad, pathetic reality of driving a damn toaster on wheels, the Fit makes a '75 VW Rabbitt seem cavernous  I personally having grown up in Eastern Europe, think it's sad & tragic that gasoline prices here in the USA have made so many Americans willing to drive such gutless, tiny, cramped & uninspired cars that, 3 years ago, would have been cast off by 99% of Americans as some city-car meant for an Tokyo or "All-weather-golf cart" & yet now people are waxing poetic. (no disrespect O.B., it was a well written review) This is America, we drive REAL cars, with trunks & sixteen valve motors that have only ONE camshaft but EIGHT pistons, you can take your sneaker on wheels and move to France, there it is not frowned upon to wear banana hammocks, act like you're stuck in a god-damned invisible box while hanging out on a street corner with your crooked goofy hat & stripped shirt.... over here in the USA-hater's mecca you can drive your College Fridge on wheels as if it was NOT emasculating. And while you're over there tell'em the Eifel tower looked way cooler when it was painted Chevrolet Engine Block Orange. :AH-HA_wink:
  19. HE desrves a right-good-kickin'
  20. Moltar: All joking aside, You do realize that I have a 4.5 year old daughter already... right? And with the exception of the drag-car-spartan '68 "Panther" Camaro Sofia has spent quality road-trip time in almost every one of my classic cars. Here's on of my favorite photos:
  21. Yesterday, at 3:40am, on my way over to "Ups" I found myself at McDonalds squinting at their super-ghay "late-night-menu", Roadmonster idling while I tried to make up my mind. Ended up getting porked for $6.17 on a USA-spec. Royale-w/Cheese & loading 900+ packages with a nasty cannon-ball of grease in my stomach. I wish Panera was open at 3am. Aaaaad now, it looks like I might be going back to McD in 3 hours, thanx O.B.
  22. Julie is about 7.5 months along, so even if Amelia surprises us with hergrand entrance tomorrow, she SHOULD be okay. But I hear you guys, a buddy I used to work with at Bill DeLuca Chevrolet had a son born FOUR months premature, in this little tykes first 24 hours he went through $150,000 i medial bills, and I think that was without the air-ambulance (chopper) to Boston. Do you guys KNOW who you're talking to??? Even my wife, ex (Sofia's mom), my parents, my father-in-law & mother-in-law have come to terms with the fact that the likely scenario is that I'll be daily driving a PRE-WAR car next summer, and the B-59 will be my "modern backup" while some P.O.S. truck or maybe the Roadm0nster will sere as a winter-beater and Julie will have her Mercedes, although I am planning to install an HD/MP3 ready in-dash CD-player... so she does not feel like she is missing out on new car novelties.
  23. Good luck O.B. you should at least try to see if you can talk to the new owner. If you guys only knew what I payed for some of my classics... There's been times I've thought that I'd squeezed blood from a rock and yet I still manage to outdo myself from time to time.
  24. Yeah, I knw I was just being a dick. America, FU*K YEAH!
  25. I do not think I've ever felt more numb in my life. The feeling was like getting an F on a calculus test in 11th grade.... x 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 It was a sick, cowardly & unforgivable act of evil. Pol-Pot, Hitler, Stalin & thousands of sex-offenders have some company in that great hotel in the deep, DEEP recesses of the lower-most level of Dante's inferno... I hope there is a endless supply of pineapples.
