Lincoln Offers Free Pickup and Delivery For Service

Lincoln adds another perk for their owners

Lincoln is trying to stand out from the crowded luxury field by offering owners various services and perks. They have announced a new service that will begin with the 2017 Continental allowing owners not to visit the dealership to have their car serviced.

A Lincoln service valet will pick up an owner's vehicle and take it in for service. The owner will be left a courtesy car while theirs is being worked on. Once service is completed, the vehicle is returned to the owner. This perk comes at no charge for the owner.

“Lincoln Pickup and Delivery service revolves around complementing our luxury vehicles with outstanding luxury experiences. Our dealers view this as a way to differentiate the client experience for Lincoln owners,” said Lincoln North America director of sales and marketing Andrew Frick.

Lincoln has been doing trials of this service at select dealers and found it to be a success. Of owners who participated, 98 percent said they would have their vehicle serviced at the dealer again and 93 percent said they would buy another Lincoln.

Now Lincoln isn't the first to offer this service to owners. Hyundai offered this service with their Equus flagship. What makes this program different is it will be available on Lincoln's entire 2017 lineup.

LINCOLN IS ONLY LUXURY AUTOMAKER TO PROVIDE STANDARD PICKUP AND DELIVERY SERVICE FOR ALL ITS VEHICLES TO SAVE CLIENTS TIME AND EFFORT

DEARBORN, Mich., June 28, 2016 – Lincoln adds the luxury segment’s only standard Pickup and Delivery Service across all 2017 nameplates starting with the all-new Lincoln Continental. The exclusive standard service builds on the brand’s commitment to providing a human, warm and personal experience at all Lincoln dealerships.

Lincoln Service Valet will pick up a client’s vehicle at an agreed location and, provide a complimentary Lincoln loaner vehicle, and then take the client’s vehicle to the dealership for service. Once complete, clients can arrange for their washed and serviced vehicle to be returned to them at the location of their choice.

“Lincoln Pickup and Delivery service revolves around complementing our luxury vehicles with outstanding luxury experiences,” says Andrew Frick, Lincoln North American director of sales and services. “This kind of Quiet Luxury provides an exclusive and personally crafted service experience that enhances their lifestyle and saves them what is a true luxury item – their time.”

Lincoln has been piloting this program with a select group of dealers since May 2015 with overwhelming results:

    • 98 percent of clients indicate they would be more likely to receive service from that Lincoln dealer in the future
    • 98 percent would recommend Lincoln and the service to a friend
    • 93 percent are likely to purchase another Lincoln vehicle

“Our dealers view this as a way to differentiate the client experience for Lincoln owners,” says Frick. “No matter what Lincoln vehicle clients have from our portfolio, they have the peace of mind of getting that vehicle to and from service at a location of their choice, with a complimentary Lincoln loaner in order to maintain their busy schedules.

“When nearly 100 percent of clients receiving this service say they would recommend Lincoln to a friend, it clearly indicates positive momentum for the brand and our dealers,” adds Frick.

This exclusive Pickup and Delivery marks another milestone in Lincoln Motor Company commitment to merge great products, an outstanding experience and impeccable service – part of its original 2012 business plan. Since Lincoln began this journey, it has delivered four all-new products in four years, established a dealer network in China, built brand awareness, and increased volume for the brand and Lincoln products.

As part of Lincoln’s ongoing client experience efforts, these successful programs have already been implemented:

    • Lincoln Concierge: A trusted personal advisor – like the most attuned hotel concierge – assists clients 24/7 online at www.lincoln.com. While other luxury brands offer similar services, only Lincoln provides clients with an opportunity for video chat with a live person.
    • Black Label: Started in 2015, the number of participating dealers has increased to more than 90 committed locations. Black Label provides personalized shopping with dedicated personnel in the showroom, online, or in locations convenient to clients. Specially trained Black Label experience liaisons meet prospective clients at their home, office, or anywhere within 30 miles of the showroom to begin the experience. Acting as a personal shopping assistant, the liaison helps clients identify their ideal vehicle by sharing paint and wood trim samples, as well as material swatches. Lincoln Black Label owners enjoy special privileges – ranging from extended premium service and maintenance coverage on wear items to Culinary Collection membership that provides access to a curated list of restaurants from coast to coast.
    • Date Night: This extended test drive allows qualified buyers the chance to experience a Lincoln vehicle for up to 48 hours. In 2015, Date Night resulted in more than 11,000 sessions at select dealers, prompting nearly an 11 percent increase in Lincoln purchases. The program attracted nearly 70 percent of clients who had been with other luxury nameplates.
    • Lincoln Institute: Training for key client-facing individuals is provided through Lincoln Institute. The program, which combines all of the brand’s training efforts under one umbrella, has been expanded to include all Lincoln dealers. Lincoln Institute includes not only hospitality training, but an all-new series of workshops that provide participants with tools to help local teams develop and execute processes consistently for luxury clients.

Pickup and Delivery is an important milestone in Lincoln’s commitment to providing personal client services to match its unique luxury products, coming at the perfect time as Lincoln prepares to launch the much-anticipated 2017 Lincoln Continental.

The all-new Lincoln Continental returns as the brand flagship this fall, offering first-class travel for clients in America and China through warm, human touches and a contemporary design. The full-size sedan is designed to appeal to culturally progressive clients who define luxury on their own terms – craving superior quality, craftsmanship and safety.

“Quiet Luxury is Lincoln’s unique approach to ensure impeccable service is consistent with our outstanding products for the ultimate client experience,” says Frick.

I thought something like this was already offered in their "black label" packages...?

You might be right. I know that the Black Label package includes complimentary car washes and an annual detail for the vehicle.

This is probably a way to keep the Lincoln owners out of sitting in the Ford dealer service area, and/or to make it seem like Lincoln is more exclusive and separate from Ford. When at 90% of these dealerships the Ford and Lincoln are sold and serviced in the same building.

My question is if they pick up your Lincoln for service, will they return a good car you would actually want to drive?

Once again, you need to get your facts straight. Most of the Lincoln dealerships are stand alone. That wasn't always the case but they are now.

Oh and nice troll remark in the middle there. Classy </sarcasm>

To smk for the "classy comment",

No Lincoln does not make "drivers' cars". But make cars people like to be behind the wheel in but not a "drivers car", Like the MB lineup hold the AMGs.

Not many automakers still make true drivers cars. Miatas, pony cars, BRZ/FR-S, most of the Porsche lineup(excluding the SUVs), GTI, Golf R, 4C, etc... There are a handful but each automaker typically only has one, maybe two. Oh, I'd even throw in the Wrangler.

Actually Surreal, I have to disagree with you on the stand alone dealerships. On the west coast, I ONLY FIND FORD / Lincoln Dealerships with BOTH auto's on the same showroom floor. I have yet to see let alone be in a stand alone Lincoln Dealership.

Just a few miles from my house is the Harris Ford Lincoln Dealership. They just finished a major remodel and expanded their one big showroom floor to show off both Lincoln and Ford side by side.

Negative vote aside, I have seen nothing but dedicated dealers in the Phoenix Valley and most of the ones I saw back east were the same way (lived in NC for 35 years). Point being that SMKs claim of 10% is pure trolling bull$h!.

Also of note, I did say that there were still some like the ones you mentioned so why that merited a down vote, I haven't the foggiest.

U'm so why is Fordcosworth down voting you on both posts? I only saw on my recent business trip to New Jersey Ford/Lincoln Dealerships. But regardless of this, you are right some areas will have separate and others will have merged.

FordCosworth, please explain the two down votes to Surreal, otherwise without proper explanation of your downvote, this is trolling.

I don't understand at ALL like DFelt why HERE you had to downvote.

Both times Surreal vouched for Lincoln because SMK was suggesting that this new program would have terrible execution because Ford/Lincoln dealers are tied at the hip...Surreal provided evidence that in the Phoenix area, and perhaps in others Lincoln dealers are becoming more often standalone.

Lincoln right now, except the Conti, MKX and refreshed Z is still strife with cars that really aren't notable in any way.

I like the Conti, but the Z, while nice, should also be built at Flat Rock.

Then I'm about to give you a better reason to down vote me. I defended your favorite brand (something you have complained about my lack of in past) and you down vote me anyway?

Here's the reason for you. Go F yourself if you have nothing better to offer here. MT will gladly take your trolling there. I contributed to the damn subject here and you just behave like a twelve year old dick with ears.

There. Now you have a legitimate reason for the down vote.

Remember, this claim is coming from the same guy who sees nothing wrong with vans being sold and serviced on the same lot as an S Class.

Do they service Corvette Z06's at the same place they service $14,000 Sparks and City Express commercial vans?

I don't really care what else is serviced where my car is serviced. My original post here was about how Ford probably wants to keep the Lincoln owners separate make it seem like Lincoln is different than Ford. Because in reality those Lincolns have a lot of Ford parts and Ford trim pieces and drive like Fords.

If Ford wants to help Lincoln they need to get Lincoln it's own chassis and own bodies.

Yeah, that wasn't the defense you were using a few months ago before you got called out in it but that's a discussion for another time.

Btw, asking Ford to do that is literally the opposite of how multi-make companies handle that. Ask VW. Ford has also done a better job of making Lincolns look less like their Ford cousins and that is a fact.

Only product can save Lincoln. Black Label concierge services, and pick up and drop off service aren't going to do it. Gotta have the product. Look at Cadillac, they actually have 2 rear drive light weight chassis that are world class, and they are still struggling. Imagine where Cadillac would be if the ATS was based on the Cruze, the CTS was based on the Malibu, and XTS was their flagship. And there was no V-series, no Cadillac with over 400 hp, no coupes, etc.

Stop. Just stop. If this were Mercedes, you would be preaching whatever foo foo service they were offering. Regardless of what you think about their product, this a good move by Lincoln.

    Y'all stop bickering now.

Anyways. Good move, probably needed a long time ago, but better late than never.

Same with RWD or a legacy of an AWD system just as good or better than Quattro.

But Quattro is getting NERFed pretty soon so it's just like the GKN AWD system, except with another clutch pack to act like a center coupling.

    • A compendium of California car chronicling - say that three times real fast ... Entering Topanga Canyon, but still inside an L.A. zip code, was this Beverly Hillbillies type of truck set against the dry vegetation in the foothills and canyons. Hey, come back here! Seen going toward Ventura and Santa Barbara was this vision. I think the convertible works very well with the shapes below the beltline. The notch on the Riv coupe was a little more challenging. If we got to grow up around cars like this, we were very lucky! Seen while getting fuel and donuts was this older Chevy beauty. It's not just me who loves silver and red/burgundy. I don't know if this was true to factory, but it didn't matter. However, it had that simple and durable 283 c.i. V8 and a 2 or 3 speed automatic. I believe it was a 1962 Bel Air per my brief conversation with the owner. Wow ... that's the last-gen Riv and the place I saw it surprised me. That's in South Central L.A. You wouldn't have wanted to go in there when I was a kid. That's a new housing block they built. The other thing is that the 105 Freeway cuts through the base of South Central and you can get on and off easily with its bigger ramps. I saw this 1998 Olds Intrigue and remember how much I wanted one when they were released. It all worked itself out ... some 10 years later! Hollywood Boulevard spotting, practically in front of the famed Chinese Theater ... some older "cherry" Chevy full size coupes and God knows what that black vehicle was.
    • Im not so sure about that. fox "news" and trump propaganda has played a huuuuge role in deceiving these people. And that level of deception ONLY deceives the weak, stupid and racist. Not in denial. Most of these maga filth are enablers, BECAUSE trump promises acceptance of racism, these vile uneducated human beings are ok in getting phoqued by the oligarchs of the usa BECAUSE the non-white population of the usa is getting phoqued WORSE than they are. Any trump supporter is an ignorant soul. Some trump supporters are racist and enable the corruption BECAUSE trump promises bad things to happen to non-whites. These people are smart enough to understand the 'wink wink' language of trump. But racism is bred by ignorance... They enable the corruption but are too stupid to understand ALL the consequences that pertain to trump's corruption. The CEO of jack daniels said that boycotting Canadians are not a problem because Canadian sales are ONLY 1% of jack daniels sales... Well... https://www.kentucky.com/lexgoeat/bourbon/article313389656.html "Jack Daniel’s parent says profits down 14% for quarter. $59M in losses this year" "Fiscal 2026 outlook is expected to remain challenging, the company said, “with low visibility due to macroeconomic and geopolitical volatility as we face headwinds from consumer uncertainty,” among other factors. Organic net sales and organic operating income are expected to continue to decline for the full year, the company said." Read more at: https://www.kentucky.com/lexgoeat/bourbon/article313389656.html#storylink=cpy 1. The jack daniels ceo laughed and scoffed at Candians boycotting them. A CEO of a big business like the whiskey business and a big company like jack daniels should NEVER laugh at 1% sales losses... 2. Morons believed the LIE that Canada is ONLY 1% of jack daniels sales... 3. The ceo is a MORON himself following trump as he should have known better of the consequences of pissing off an ENTIRE nation... 4. MORE lay offs in the kentucky area in the whisky business... ALL of them maga a$$hol3$!!! Not a sinlge brain cell between ALL of them NOT realizing the consequences and believing the deception of fox "news" and trump's words... YES!!! Do NOT be surprised. THAAAAT many americans are THAAAAAQAQT phoquing stupid. 1. Since the 1960s or at least the 1970s...education has been defunded in your country. 2. Since at least the 1970s, ignorance has been worshipped in your country. And ESPECIALLY the last 15 years. Nah...just their vile bitterness and racism and as long as the non-white folk suffer more than them. The hatred of these uneducated filth is truly a sickening site. So much so, that whatever trump tells them, they will believe it. Canada became an enemy of the usa somehow, and these phoquers licked all that shyte up. Canada has stayed away from visiting your loser country and all the touristy areas in your country are begging Canadians to come back. So much ignorance involved as they do not understand why Canadians are not visiting and will not visit for a very long time. But they did vote for trump knowing he was hell bent on destroying Canada. And in these touristy places KNOW that Canada is what pays there dreams and wishes... But these touristy places ALSO lay blame to Canadians as to why we are NOT visiting and blame us for their financial downfalls... Not too bright as people if you ask me... It does not look like it... This mess you guys have put yourselves in is going to last a while longer. A LOT while longer. Why? There is NO phoquing push back from ANYBODY in your useless country... In Bangladesh...the people are revolting... https://news.un.org/en/story/2025/12/1166642 In Greece...the Greeks revolted when there was a train crash in 2023 that killed many and didnt like the authority's explanations as to why it happened...but as recent as this month... https://freedomnews.org.uk/2025/12/15/farmers-revolt-in-greece/ farmers are revolting... The authorities are threating farmers with criminal intent...yet Greek farmers are revolting... Why? FREEDOMS AND DEMOCRACY AND ALL OF THAT CRAP!!! After more than ten days of nationwide mobilisation, farmers’ protests last week escalated into open confrontation and clashes with riot police. Protesters have faced arrests and upgraded charges, while in Crete authorities are threatening to prosecute farmers under accusations of forming a “criminal organisation.” From the mountains of Macedonia and Epirus to the plains of Thessaly and Aitoloakarnania, and from olive-growing Messinia to tourist-heavy Crete, thousands of low- and lower-middle-income farmers have taken to the roads. National highways have been shut down, cutting key transport routes and effectively splitting the country into parts. Tractor convoys are marching through major towns and cities, border crossings, ports and airports have been occupied for hours, and state institutions have been targeted with militant interventions. The farmers’ movement has moved decisively beyond symbolic protest. In the usa...crickets... There are MANY times where americans could have avoided this mess they find themselves in. We COULD start in January of 2020. crickets.... We could start with the 34 or so felonies he was convicted of but NO sentencing... crickets... We could start with the mar-a-lago court case when trump hoarded all those classified files and the case was not even addressed in court because trump bought himself out of that... crickets... Epstein files... crickets... Yeah...the whole lot of you are stupid and ignorant if you ask me... COWARDS more than anything else as well!!!
    • Its a beautiful picture. A general and random thought it may be, but the picture itself should be immortalised in here. Thanks for sharing it with us. @trinacriabob
    • I'll never forget the times I've gone across the pond on BA 747s...or on trips to Hawaii where I walked through the open air concourses and they were parked close by, where I could them up close and huuuuge...love those those bigguns.
    • I think they knew all along and were in denial. I think that there are a lot of stupid people in our country, but it would surprise me if that many are that stupid. They needed something to pin their hopes on, like some sort of Anti-Christ, or a scapegoat. If anything, it could be the beginning of the ending of a very bad era. One very good sign is when Google Maps will show the inscription Gulf of Mexico ... again. About two weeks ago, the wind blew off a baseball cap I was wearing. That meant I had to grab my U-Dub baseball cap, which is kind of obnoxious, since it's all purple. In no time flat, I found a large variety of Gulf of Mexico baseball caps online and for great prices, so I will be ordering one in about a week. When I was on the ship that sailed out of Tampa in April for that repositioning voyage, there was a human p. o. s. up by the pools talking to someone and wearing a Gulf of America cap. I wanted to say something, but I held back. I thought that tacky people took short cruises to Mexico and the Caribbean, but I guess they cross oceans, too. Money does not buy class. Coincidentally, the perfect example of it is Agent Orange. Merry Christmas to those who celebrated as such or happy holidays. One of the things I will be celebrating with is a new Gulf of Mexico baseball cap.
