OK. VERY early 1970's this car came out. What was available in it as far as the powertrain went?

I read about this car when it first came out, and have never forgotten it as the first brand new car I truly thought was CrAzY.

Not sure if you can all open the bmp file.... so....

The Monteverdi Hai ("Shark") was powered by a mid-mounted Chrysler Hemi 426cid/450hp V8.

I always liked Monteverdis, especially the 375 sedan, for some reason.

That's hot. Looks like one of those pancake-VW powered kit cars.

HEMI? Holy cow!!!

I honestly thought it would take longer to get a response. Good job Hudson!

That's the first thing I thought, Camino. It does look like a more professional version of the Bradley GT.

I don't even see a Bradley GT at all, but I know the Monteverdi fairly well, for decades.

First time I saw it I was reminded of a Maserati Bora, though I don't really know why. Overall shape I guess.

I thought so.

I've always liked Boras.

Thinking of the Bradley GT, 68?

Well yes, and the otehr 24 VW based kit cars they had

those years with ME Ferrari-wannabe styling...

Here's an easy one from my photo collection.

I would have to guess, and say the Oldsmobile version of the mid 50's Corvette, can't recall it's name though.

Cool looking car, whatever it is.

1959 Cadillac Cyclone, XP-74, minus it's acrylic bubbletop.

Cars are named so dryly these days... what would you rather drive... a Cadillac XLR or a Cadillac Cyclone?
