avant1963 38 Posted October 7, 2007 Even though it does not feel like it in NJ (mid 80's the last week or so), I'm getting ready for the greatest holiday - Halloween. I usually spend all my time turning half my basement into a haunted house for our big Halloween party, but this year I decided to build some outdoor decorations from scratch. Meet Lloyd the unfriendly scarecrow. Got him up this morning to protect the house: And he will be soon joined by Harry out front: I'm pretty happy with the way they came out - newspaper, paper towels, chicken wire and duct tape. What are you guys doing for Halloween?
Intrepidation 882 Posted October 7, 2007 Dude those look great! Our house has a reputation for building the scariest Halloween setup in the neighborhood for teh past 4 years or so...but I'm not sure if we're doing it this year.

FUTURE_OF_GM 26 Posted October 7, 2007 That's awesome! I usually do a very realistic costume and throw a party/attend parties. Would love to do a haunted house or field or mill one year!
Nick 31 Posted October 7, 2007 Those are awesome man! For Halloween I'm trying to get my parents out of the house and I'm going to throw a huge party that weekend. Hopefully things will work out for that.

ocnblu 1,142 Posted October 8, 2007 I'm too scared to come any closer. Please leave some Snickers bars on the sidewalk. Thanks.
K.C. 0 Posted October 8, 2007 Thats really great decorating. I used to do that alot when my kids were younger. We would make an event out of it. Since they've gotten older they dont share my love for Halloween so I do not decorate like I used to.

K.C. 0 Posted October 8, 2007 And he will be soon joined by Harry out front: How much did you have to pay WPBHarry to come sit in front of your house for decoration?
avant1963 38 Posted October 8, 2007 You forget that I have a Malibu MAXX SS, so he sits out there for free.
