I'm thinking that should buy a nice late 60s GM iron......

Last night, after Borders, I went to the auto mall and drooled over some G8s...8 grand + 20 grand...oh well....it ain't happening, but what a kick-ass car that G8 is.

I wish my house and car were paid off. $14,670 doesn't even come close.:( Edited by ocnblu

$8000?

I bet that would be enough, in this crapppy economy,

to find a nice drivable Pre-war car. No, not a Packard

Twin-Six or a Cadillac phaeton, but maybe a solid

but dusty & partially incomplete 1936 Buick vicky, or

a '37 Pontiac 8 sedan. :)
