Atlas I7?

Featured Replies

I remember hearing when the Atlas engine came out that 7 and 8 cylinder variants were possible. What happened here?

also, have their been 7 cylinder non-radial engines before this?

I say if we're going to bring back inline motors of more than 6 cylinders

it should be an Inline-9, just to out-do a V8 on paper. :P

All joking aside I6 > V6. Always!A modern inline8 would be great.

If anyone would have a 7 Cylinder it'd be Volvo. I think there were some 7 cylinder diesels out there.

Never heard of those...I know Volvo has had 5 cylinder engines.

A W-9 cylinder would certainly be interesting.
