Space vs. Style

Are you saying make as much interior room as possible? Because that is definitely not what draws the crowds. It is a compromise between style and functionality. All vehicles are.

Yeah, if Buick had focused solely on interior space, the Enclave would be shaped like the Terraza.

The side profile is the best view of the Enclave, I think.

I'm thinking this article contradicts what Lutz said during the GMTV interview regarding seating and the V8. I thought he said that the production version would seat 7 or at least would not have the center console in the rear and that although a V8 is possible in the future, there is currently not one that fits. Am I remembering right?

I agree with Carguy22-as much as I like Enclave (there's a few things I'm not crazy about, such as the hood, not front fender ventiports, but its 100% better than the bland, cheap-looking and poorly-Chevy-like Lucerne), it should have at least the same amount of passenger and cargo room as the smaller, outgoing Rendezvous. There should be no excuses.

I'll take a blend of style and space anyday over just space considerations.  You might as well buy a delivery van....lots of space there.

Yep. What makes u guys think this thing won't be spacious. How much more space do you need? If you want a Lambda van, get that instead of the Lambda SUV. Geez, personally, I only need seating for six in the Enclave. That's plenty.
