Woohoo ... I received my FIRST CHOICE for my "winter warrior" (1979 Caprice Classic) license plates:

WINTR 79

I enjoy driving the Caprice [i still wish I had a coupe instead of a sedan] and hope to take it on a "mini" road trip soon:

Now, my interest in obtaining a 1975 Caprice Classic convertible has increased a bit....

The other car I still want "someday" is a Monte Carlo SS. Although ... I am thinking that maybe I should switch to a Caprice collection instead of the Monte Carlo family......

*grins*

Thanks, guys!!!

Hah, that's GREAT! I love special tags, no matter what they say. Good idea there.

Thanks. I wonder if people understand the "double meaning" of it. Given the non-winter weather we've had most of this year it seems, I'd guess not completely. First and foremost it's a '79 Caprice that's my "Winter Warrior". But, for those of us in Chicagoland, it also refers back to the winter of '78-'79, particularly early '79 when we had all of that SNOW..... ;)

I know it's just a beater but my love of 77-79 B bodies makes me want to see it cleaned up and shining. If you do give it a bath take pics

*chuckles*

I do plan to get it cleaned up....because....I, too, would love to see it cleaned up and shining even though it is just my winter beater..... How ironic is that???!!!
