:(

Well, the thread title pretty much sums up the problem. The roof wants to vent, but the right side doesn't want to slide back, when the left slide does. The Chrysler/Dodge dealer sais it would cost $670 for a new assembly + labor! :banghead: Thats outrageous, I'd rather just get another car. Any ideas or know where I can get used parts cheap cheap cheap?

Oh, and the vehicle in question is a 2001 Plymouth Neon. :duh:

Also, you could get someone to get it closed... then don't open it ever again.

It's closed and has been since August 2005. And that's not an option. I'm eithe fixing it or getting another vehicle. It's awful not to be able to use it. And my parents and sister don't care, as their sunrooves on their Sunfires and Liberty work jussstttt fine!

Would a sunroof from other 2001 DC models fit/work?  I thought perhaps a PT Cruiser or Stratus/Sebring sunroof may.  I can't see them being much different than the Neon's.

You'd actually have to get the Chrysler part numbers and compare them. If the Neon 'roof has the same P/N as another car, then you're golden. It's highly unlikely, since sunroofs usually have to match the contour of the roof of the car that they belong in. But it's worth a shot.
