Jeep Easter Edition Moab Utah

The 51st Easter Jeep Safari in Moab Utah is taking place this week and Jeep has a slew of working concepts that will be on the trail all week long for people to drool over according to the story at USA Today!

To quote the story:

"Go fast and look good ... and if you're not smiling, get out," said Mark Allen, head of Jeep design, as walked around the hot rod Jeep Quicksand, which was "built for sand dunes."

The roar from the Quicksand's Mopar 392 Crate Hemi engine with eight-stack injection drew smiles and stares.

But one of the cooler features on the Quicksand was ornamental — a clear acrylic gear shifter knob with a Jeep Matchbox suspended inside.

The other Jeeps were decked out, too.

Love their Cocktail which was built based on 3 different generations of the wrangler.

Luminator, which pretty much will light up the night for night wheeling.

Loving the Jeep Quicksand Concept with that 392 Hemi and optimized for dune jumping. Loving the V8 Power!!! :metal:

More pictures and info in the story on the other auto's which has a total of 7 concepts to gauge Jeep Enthusiasts feedback.

Some cool concepts..the Trailpass looks close to a production model...I see from the Jeep site there is a Trailhawk version of the new Compass.

Ya know with the Demon out, one has to wonder if FCA is not going to do the same to Jeep to just extend making money.

They now have shown they can put a V8 in a Wrangler with the Quicksand Concept. Wonder if it could show up next year as a real option?
