Wow, the gauges look nice :) Too bad they don't look like that when the car is on during the day!

I love the color for Buick Gauges. The Seafoam Green in the sedans and the Teal used in Rendezvous are definitely among my favorites.

LEDs would look great 24/7 day/night driving with Seafoam green. I want Buick to become consistent in certain areas to maintain "brand identity" without looking identical. Instrumentation is one way to do that.

The V8 is the engine you must have, partly because it's so advanced, and partly because there are no decent 6-cylinder engines in the GM stable.

I hope he meant that in the context of the Lucerne only but I don't think he did.

I do agree though, I wouldn't want anything less than the Northstar in the Lucerne.

The 3800 seems to get by in the base CX versions with crusty bench seats and all but the upper level CXL V6 should be mandatory with the 3.6 DOHC engine.

I'd be happy with an updated version of the 3.6L (like the one going into the Enclave)

It just that I feel big cars deserve V8s to go with them. Like, I wouldn't want a V6 Aurora and I always thought the Park Avenue (in the Ultra trim especially) was a car begged to have a V8 in it (at least the Ultra should have).

whaddya mean bad fit and finish?!?!?
