So I am now officially a professional hippie.

Recommended Posts

. . . At least through the summer. Today was my first official day at work for Environment North Carolina. So for the next few months, I get to go through local neighborhoods canvassing to raise money for a campaign preserve a million acres of North carolina's natural areas from our rapid development. And for that, I feel like a banana dance.

:pbjtime:

(Dance is made with 100% organically-grown bananas, of course.)

Enz, I was just in the Southeast (ATL, to be exact). Do they have the word granola there to describe someone...you know, he's a granola or she's a granola? I've exported that term to Italy. My cousins now use it. I like it better than hippie.

Hey, if you are ever in ATL, there's a hippie-dippy area called "Little 5 Points." It was hippie-dippy then and it is hippie-dippy now. It abuts onto a NOT so nice area, so tread carefully.

Oh well, enjoy your new endeavor. I am a true believer of integrating/preserving forest land within developments rather than wholesale bulldozing.

I'm all for common sense enviro things (like mandatory solar cells on all new home construction, turning off the tap when brushing your teeth, etc.) The crazy enviros completely turn people off to simple things to help the environment.

Are you going to see Al "Sore Loser" Gore's documentary?

I've done worse much worse.

In white to avoid as much viewing as possible (Ignorance is bliss) What you dont care to know cant hurt!

Since I hauled compressed tanks around for a while as a job a couple of years ago. Well some thing happend where a holding chained snaped and 2 tanks fell out of the truck. the wields fail to hold and about 130 pounds of R-12 Freon are now in the air. Also since i do refridgeration work on residential and cars. I have troubles reclaiming lets say. so i have a massive whole with my name on it. With all the R-12 R-134a and R-22 that have escaped me.
