The Lienerts Go Off On a Raider

Posted Image

The Mitsubishi Raider is pretty much a Dodge Dakota that's been prettied up a tad. As we all know, Mitsu isn't in the best shape right now. There is a very real possibility that they may leave the North American market. I don't think this is helping matters any. And neither will what Paul & Anita have to say about it.

The Raider's real problem is it offers no unique features over the Dakota and buying one means sacrificing variety, a wider range of Dodge purchasing options, and living with a limited and questionable dealer network. At least the Ascender has a cheaper price than the Trailblazer.

If anything, pick one up on the cheap when they stop being made and just sit on the lots.

An "uglied up" Dakota is more like it. This thing's grotesque...

SHE: Well, it's still better than a Ford Ranger.

Isn't that like making yourself feel better about yourself

because you're still "better than Jeffrey Dahmer"?

if want a dakota with a longer warranty.........

its amazing how GM, Ford and Dodge totoally botched their small trucks

Colorado-undersized, no 6 cylinder, strange looks, dismal interior

Ranger- ANCIENT. was out date like 10 years ago.

Dakota-ugly

Yup, that's your US auto companies at work.

besides, what do the Leinaerts know about using pickups anyways? I doubt they even cut their own grass. And then their shameless Ridgeline plug. what a bunch of idiots. the ridgeline is thousands more and has a useless bed, and a toy truck frame. That alone shows you what they know about trucks.

Oh; torn away a long time ago: I did not read the link, I haven't read one in a long while. Happy to provide 'squeaky wheel service', still haven't read why such drivel is regularly posted. These gibbering chimps are NOT relevent nor even marginally informed.

There must be well over 50 newspaper-level 'automotive journalists' across the country- please pick any other soon to break up the monotony.
