  1. I definitely know "Gamma." I sort of expected the third letter to start with a "C" sound, though, so I thought Gamma might be somewhere else in the Greek alphabet. And Omega being last makes sense, in line with the religious concept of "Alpha-Omega." As for this photo, what's the likelihood that 1) two scuba divers will illegally drive their Olds Omega onto a California beach, and 2) that demographic would even set foot into a showroom to buy an Olds Omega? Also, I know we have some members here who just love multilingual discourse ...

  5. Cant see the video because "the uploader has not made this video available in your country". Keep in my I live in Canada. Very important information for later on. To see the video, there are many ways to skin a cat... I find out that the uploader is the Smithsonian Channel Aviation Nation Then I find out the plane in question is the De Havilland Twin Otter. Motherphoquer!!! The Smithsonian is blocking a video to Canada about a Canadian airplane! Its not even ironic at this point. More like moronic. Anyway, there must be a valid reason for this... But yeah! The Twin Otter IS bad ass!!!

  6. The last 30 years did seem to go by fast. I just finished being a teen in 1991, became an adult exactly in 1991 (18 years old) . Although I was and still am a teen at heart LOL. Experienced what young adults experience at the fullest. Started a business. Met a wonderfully smart and beautiful young lady. Got married to her. 2 kids that are teens themselves right about now. Bruce knew what he was talking about even though he was in his 30s when he released this song Although I aint done livin' by a looooong shot. I got a helluva lot more to accomplish, I may have to start thinkin' I aint no teenager no more. It may be embarrassing for my kids and wife... NAH! Boys will always be boys! THAT is how I will live longer. YOUNG at heart!!! Besides...there are even more glory days to come! And I cant wait to experience them! One day at a time!

  8. Always liked that song, remember when it came out when I was in college. Kind of a one hit wonder band. Where have the last 30 years gone?

  9. The Catera could have worked if GM allowed more funds to develop it for Cadillac. As is, it was at Chevrolet or Pontiac levels. In the Middle East, it WAS a Chevrolet. A Lumina. It had the 3.8 liter V6 from Buick. It had the supercharged version too under the hood and as a Lumina SS, it had the LS1 under the hood. In the US, it had the lame Opel 3.0 V6. No torque. Horsepower was a tad anemic for a Caddy that wanted to zig and zag. The sedan was made into a coupe...and we got it as a Pontiac. And THAT too failed. Because Pontiac labeled it as a GTO. It was a great Pontiac. But at that point in time, retro was ALL the rage. And the Catera couped GTO looked NOTHING like a PONTIAC GTO... Ah....yes!!! Those wonderful General Motors times at the end of the last century. What fantastic times they were.

  10. Alpha, Beta, GAMMA, Delta You were missing the 3rd letter... And Omega would be the last letter in the Greek Alphabet. Zeta would be the 6th letter... Speaking of the Omega and the Zeta. The Zeta platform would be the platform that succeeded the Omega car and We know know the Zeta platform as the Pontiac G8 and Chevrolet SS. I know its all Greek to you folk, but I...am damned proud that Greek is being discussed one way or other. ?

  16. I disagree as Buick will have an Electra EV, Corvette needs to define their future with a performance EV be it a car or a CUV, but they need to figure out where the future will be for them and I think a Performance CUV EV under Corvette works. I honestly do not see Chevrolet having a top end EV except for a Camaro EV fitting in under the Corvette.

  17. Expanding the Corvette name for an EV CUV is probably NOT a good idea. It should be called an Electra instead.
