  1. Watched 'Lethal Weapon 3' tonight, hadn't seen it ages..not as good as the first two, too much Joe Pesci (who drove a red Allante in it). Couple good chase scenes, and there was a blue '69 Coronet w/ a six pack hood, a red '69 Chevelle, red '91-92 Mustang GT convertible, various Porsches and M-Bs...best scene as far as cars was a scene in a garage with a tubbed '56 Chevy and a wild chop top Chevy Nomad with a blown engine sticking out the rear window...googling turned up pics of it, apparently it was this car:

  2. Ive been on a Conan binge lately. Norm MacDonald, Bill Burr appearances and the like. I came across the Jordan Schlansky videos as well, and this one reminded me of @trinacriabob VIVA ITALIA!!! ESPECIALLY WITH THE EUROCUP VICTORY OVER ENGLAND YESTERSDAY!!! (not that I watch soccer...Im just proud that Greece's cousins won!!!)

  4. The yellow was a Trans Am, if I recall correctly. I know it was a Pontiac.

  5. Spotted July 1: Regal Gran Sport coupe - somewhere in the '91 to '93 range - a little beat up. There's a badge up front for a (Series I) 3800 V6 that is obviously chugging along some 30 years later. Impressive. I doubt a San Francisco sophisticate who looks somewhat like Jacqueline Bisset is going to be taken by and smiling at a Regal coupe. But, my hat's off to this car for how nice it looks from the front as it's keeping up with that cable car ... successful design ... they sold a lot of these coupes.

  9. • More cleaning of trans exterior. • started cleaning valley pan. It's 2 pieces of stamped steel, spot welded together around the perimeter (22 spot welds). PCV vents into the space between, and it has a few 'drain' ports on the underside. Hardened grease accumulates inside, and it's certainly advisable to clean it out internally as best as possible. Different suggestions out there... or pony up $150 and buy a fresh repro one. Pondering if I can find a tub big enough to soak it for a few weeks.

  11. A lot of car spotting today. There is a little local car show here every second Saturday a month (during the warm months). Some nice rides out there but I could only get a few pics because I was working at a shop on that very street today. Some more... I also just realized that I posted this on the June thread instead of the July thread. F***! Oh well.
