  1. Blech. - - - - - This is my wife's older cousin in her family's '39 Dodge. Story as related by her younger brother goes... When she was about 6 yrs old, they were riding down a local road about 25 MPH, and she opened the door and fell out onto the road. Her parents stopped, picked her up, put her back in the car and continued on to grandmother's house.

  2. I think both the front and second-row seats will provide enough comfort for a long drive.

  3. Notice that in the song Mona Lisa by Nat King Cole, the music in the background is just there to COMPLIMENT his singing. What a voice!!! Its tooo damn bad that the singing standards have been steadily declining since then to where we are now today...

  4. ^^^ That is one angle. The other angle I was actually shooting for was a direct shot fired at David's statement word for word. He saying that that negligent owners leaving an ICEV to rot will spew chemicals in the ground polluting our water. While true, since batteries in BEVs have more chemicals (hidden) than ICEVs, I would hate to see a Li-ion powered BEV in the same state as that Ford or Caddy if the battery is not removed to be recycled...

  5. Yeah; the Cadillac pictured is emitting far less than the manufacturing/operation of a new BEV. Recycling without destruction :

  6. ? I wouldnt be cheering for BEV BEV BEV for the win when the scenario is about: "when driven by people who do not maintain them, sitting on property leeching out toxic chemicals into the ground and contaminating ground water"

  8. Bastille Day and @A Horse With No Name's Mona Lisa joke brought me to this: If you've been to the Louvre, the Mona Lisa painting is startlingly small. And, because of how it's protected, you can photograph her.

  9. So here at my local caddy dealership which used to be a Buick, Pontiac, Oldsmobile and Cadillac dealership. Building is the same as it was since they built it back in the 50's. Now they are finally going to remodel into a 21st century luxury dealership. A great assortment of older auto's on the lot either employee owned , in for service or for sale. Employee owned In for service Used for sale New 2021 for sale. Wow, only 3 new Escalade, 4 new cars and 2 new cuvs on the lot, about 50 or so used and the used are selling at new prices. Crazy, they just sold a 2yr old used Toyota Rav 4 XLE hybrid for 52K, sold new T $49k. I had seen the stories, but now is not the time to buy an auto. Crazy used prices due to the chip shortage. Yup, here killing time as I await my oil change.
