  1. Id like to show you that I can retract certain opinions that I hold. This is regarding the issue I had with battery fires especial in instances of accidents. I said that battery fires maybe a huge problem that maybe kinda nobody wants to talk about. I said that there are not enough EVs getting into accidents to actually say that there is no issue for EV battery fires. I said that battery fires could be a huge concern. Your assesment of this situation is correct, Id say! You said calmly that there is no issue... Mercedes Benz proves that their EVs at least and their batteries, are safe in accidents.

  2. Maybe not revolution because supply won't be there until 2025-26 probably, but I think EV sales could double easily next year. You take $7500 off at the time of sales and that EV price looks really attractive. Plus that is $7500 less to finance (or $4k on a used car) at a 10% interest rate over 6 years or whatever the standard car loans are now. The interest savings on say a $32,500 loan vs a $40,000 loan, plus the gas savings that an EV has, makes it really compelling. I know my next car will be EV.

  3. I was in Chrome and under the "Google Password Manager" then "Password Checkup" and it said this. I also had one for Yahoo, which also doesn't have anything personal of mine on it.

  4. Yes, they apply to both buying and leasing, this is how Hyundai, Kia and Genesis are able to offer the $7,500 rebate on their EVs. As they ramp up production in the US, many of this model year are from Korea and so only leasing gets the rebate, next year they will produce all their EVs in the US having the rebate for both buying and leasing. Cool thing is all those new EVs made in Korea that do not sell can be turned into demo EV's and then sold as used with the $4,000 rebate even when they were made out of the country. Plenty of ways to get around the U.S. built only for new sales rebate.

  5. I didn't notice this until now but has anybody else gotten this notification through Chrome? I mean, I know there's no personal information held on this site from me but still interesting. @Drew Dowdell
