  1. I'm just happy to have a sedan as a possibility.

  2. Very interesting..I wonder also...last spring when we adopted two sibling puppies (and later a third) from a local breeder, we went to their house which was clean and spotless, the dogs beautiful....met the parent dogs and they were great, beautiful well-behaved Yorkies. The 3 pups are almost a year old now, need a grooming..got their long winter coats..here they are in my office last week under my desk along w/ senior Aussie terrier Raine.

  4. It's too bad the US is so fixated on trucks, SUVs and CUVs..there are many wagons sold elsewhere that would be nice here...or wagon versions of US market sedans. I loved the looks of the CTS wagon 15 years ago, a modern CT5 wagon would be sweet...

  5. I have to say that Genesis in the U.S. is missing out on some lovely auto's that the brand carries in South Korea. They have a standard and Sport edition. Love the G70 Shooting Brake (Station Wagon) Genesis G70 Shooting Brake – Luxury Hatch-hinge | GENESIS Loving the Sport Edition in their green color. Configured up how I would like it. $61,170,000 Korean Won = $45,932.55 U.S. Dollars

  6. That stopped being true for most front-wheel drive based AWD vehicles 10 years ago. Most AWD systems now are dual-clutch or some variation on haldex. Even my Encore could send 50% of the torque to the back and did so at every launch, it didn't wait for slip. The 200C and the Envision are two more that I know of that have this. The Ioniq 6 is also larger inside than a Sonata despite being smaller outside. They could probably make a smaller version of it (if they hadn't already screwed up the naming scheme... maybe Ioniq 5 sedan) and sell it closer to the Sonata's price point. But Hyundai doesn't want to keep making those $249 a month lease deal models anymore anyway. Jeep killed the Renegade and Cherokee because they are trying to force Jeep up market and because Jeep has failed in China. Part of the economies of scale for Jeep included China sales, and for the first few years of the Renegade it was selling well there.... until it wasn't. The other problem is that the platforms the Renegade and Cherokee are on are being phased out without Fiat support. Compass is next.

  7. Very cool to see how many new EV charging stations were built. The US Installed More Than 1,000 EV Charging Stations Since Summer - Bloomberg Interesting that 1.2 million EVs were added and electricity use went down. 8. I don't think the Soul is canceled yet, though its sales are way down and they've been cutting options. The other two are done at the end of this model year. I doubt Tesla will ever be able to deliver on a sub-$30k car in any volume and I can't imagine what kinda hot garbage the interior will be. It's moot anyway because it's still years away. Sorry bud, I hated plenty about the Model-3 interior, but the room was not one of those things. I'm 5'10" and I felt it was cavernous.

  9. Personally, I'd go with a row-my-own Jetta S with the Trax a distant 2nd. Both of them being turbos, despite their diminutive size, would still have okay low-end torque.

  10. Yea, GM is going to have some huge issues if they continue down the Android Qualcomm rabbit hole of ignoring the Android Auto and Apple Carplay needs of end users. Especially with Apple Carplay 2.0 coming out this year.

  11. I am a little stressed right now as I read about the polls and polling. I know there are more qualified people available on both sides who aren't showing up or aren't monopolizing the media with theatrical high drama. - - - - - What I was really going to say: health care professionals don't like smart people. You can read an awful lot about things on line and, if think in visual and diagrammatic terms, you can practically self diagnose. I have correctly done it numerous times. I had to trade in my last doctor after 3 years because he was so crass, but his medical assistant had a pleasant demeanor. Now, I have a doctor I like enough, but his medical assistant can sometimes be a mercurial sn@tch. I think I go in too late in the day, so she's probably on edge craving a smoke break. This is why I do what I can to avoid the doctor's office. My only vice is the occasional buffet or Brazilian steakhouse visit where they shave off the meats right at the table. My dad didn't stay on his medication regimen for decades and courted cardiac issues later. My mom was never in the hospital between having me and passing away.

  12. As long as your under 5'6" tall then people will fit in a Tesla. Worst design of an auto ever with piss poor interior space for a car or CUV.
