  1. All of that waste is reprocessable back into fuel again, but due to outdated regulations and fear mongering dating back to the 1970s, it is only waste because we say it is waste. Breeder reactors can extract additional energy out of those nuclear byproducts and turn it back into useable fuel in another type of reactor. The only reason we don't do that is because it could be used to make bomb quality isotopes. But if WE are the ones doing it, why are we afraid we might accidentally make the bomb isotopes? The remaining radioactive material left over from those next two steps in the process, if we got out of our own way and did them, would condense the entire container seen above down to a relatively benign thimble size.

  2. The sad part is, and there are 2 sad parts, that Tesla after all these years still cant produce a profit on the production and selling of cars (sad part #1) and GM has finally begun making money on producing and selling their EVs... https://www.businessinsider.com/gm-electric-vehicles-evs-profitability-trump-2025-1 https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a63608612/gm-stops-losing-money-on-evs/?taid=679ab32bbd13980001f8c2dd&utm_campaign=trueanthemTWCD&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter But Trump is threatening the survival of GM. Making that thought, sad part #2. ThatbGM is finally making money on EVs but Trump taking it away.

  3. Face Palm is in response to the wammy of Tesla in Canada, unbelievable. Sadly, seems Trumpy is going to stop the ability to sell emission credits and that will stop Tesla from selling theirs to others which was last year $2.8 billion in emissions sales that helped with the bottom line. If the current administration kills off the emission credits that companies like Stellantis have relied on to earn billions by selling V8 powered autos more than anything, while it will help Stellantis, it will wipe out the bottom line for Tesla. Trump is putting Tesla's $2.8 billion side hustle under threat The story is saying that Tesla could see an immediate drop if this change happens of 13% in stock price, I will say it will be even worse than that as Tesla being negative with no positive cash flow will have stockholders fleeing.

  4. Buckle up dear American friends. These tariffs are going to cost the avg US household a whole lotta money. New car prices. Gasoline. Transportation on goods. Keep in mind that the US uses a LOT of Canadian oil. That is why the fat moron only wants to tariff oil at 10% rather than the 25% he keeps on heckling about. Housing. Plus, we Canadians are going to tariff US goods as well. Which wont be good but it will be necessary. A tariff war will not benefit either of us, but believe it or not, it will be a lot worse for you guys... Ontario and Quebec provide electricty to MILLIONS of Americans in the North East. THAT wont be good. It will be disatrous to the price of eggs if you will, to those shytheads that voted in Trump. And, this beautiful blonde lady that represents Donald's mouth, in this clip, she mentions fentanyl. But does she know that underground CIA operations have fostered fentanyl production in South American countries? Probably not, but I diont see her lasting too long at her job because she not only is dumber than Donald's previous mouth pieces such as Kayleigh McEnany and Sarah Huckabucks, she looks to be timid as well. At least the other two could lie with a straight face and believe the bullshyte, this one looks like she is going to break down. She seems to have moral standards... Which I kinda feel bad for her, because I have a feeling reporters this time around wont let the bullshyte fly like they did 2016-2020. And Fox news had to pay millions of dollars for bullshytting. The threat for punishment for false info still looms. I cant believe though, that Donald the duck administration had the balls to tell her to say that Justin Trudeau shoudnlt be threatening Donald with retalitory tariffs before talking to the duck first. Too bad this aint hockey, because Donald would have had his hockey jersey over his head and Justin be pounding on him. PS Justin is an amateur boxer. Donald is just a fat phoque.

  6. I'm pulling back hard on spending. My vehicles are weeks (300c) or months (Avalanche) from being paid off. The LLC that owns C&G got some new contracts recently and I'm going to be writing off every last thing I can. Both of us may be putting a lot of expensable miles on soon and we might find a cheap EV lease to take advantage of the situation and keep the miles off the ICE vehicles.

  7. Considering the number of folks that have had their life cut short in Hanford here due to what was supposed to be storage for life of radioactive Liquid, I would say this will fail and contaminate the earth, animals or humans in a new and destructive way. Honestly, I remember this from the news and the science behind it that it is the best way to store Nuclear waste, as a glass solid and then put it into an underground bunker like the old salt mines in the SW. SRS - Programs - Waste Solidification QUOTE: The largest radioactive waste glassification plant in the world, DWPF converts the high-level liquid nuclear waste currently stored at the Savannah River Site (SRS) into a solid glass form suitable for long-term storage and disposal. Scientists have long considered this glassification process, called “vitrification,” as the preferred option for immobilizing high-level radioactive liquids into a more stable, manageable form until a federal repository is ready.

  8. Elon and Bezos are obsessed w/ space exploration and getting to Mars, maybe we need to send Trump, Elon, Bezos, etc on a one-way mission to colonize on the Sun...that would probably go well.

  9. Elon also threatened to RAISE the price of ALL his Teslas in Canada. His Model 3 and Y, the models that sell the most in Canada by 9 000 Canadian dollars. And although the tariffs that Trump will impose will affect car prices here in Canada as well, Elon raising his prices on Teslas will only make Canadians NOT buy Teslas but to buy Hyundai/KIA and GM EVs instead. And in retaliation, our politicians will be tariffing Teslas in return most probably. So a DOUBLE and TRIPLE whammy for Elon and Tesla in Canada... https://driving.ca/auto-news/news/tesla-canada-price-hikes-tariff-ev-musk https://www.ctvnews.ca/business/autos/article/tesla-raising-prices-for-its-vehicles-in-canada-by-up-to-9000-starting-feb-1/ Self destruction at a whole other level GM and Ford stand not only to lose billons of dollars, but market share also...to Hyundai/KIA and the Chinese brands. Because either Mexico or Canada or both will surely allow them eventually to not only sell their cars here, but to build them here also. Push comes to shove, right? Elon is self harming himself in Canada and across the planet. Even if Donald helps him out in the US to overcome the EV rebates and subsidies that will end soon if that hasnt ended already, Americans wont buy EVs from him. And those from the lunatic right wing express that support him and Donald, well, they dont want EVs to begin with. But, the idea is that Donald is doing all this just to line his billionnaire friends and his own pockets with money belonging to Americans... Im afraid the American automobile industry is going to go extinct and that is one way on how and why these tariffs will hurt Americans more than Canadians. Also, Canadians are kinda used to paying more for gasoline and price of new cars. We dont like that fact, but we are kinda numb to it... Good luck to you folk though.
