Not quite but I wish... Quebec has had 7 Amazon warehouses. 1 of them tried to unionize and apparently succeeded. Amazon then closed down their warehouses. 1700 to 1900 jobs lost. But its closer to 3000 jobs. The Quebec government is going to sue Amazon for illegally closing down its warehouses and for them to re-open them... But Amazon also knew, like every other business wanting to do business in Quebec that Quebec is not anti-union. My other opinion is that I wished that we NEVER got these phoquing Amazon jobs here to begin with. Jobs lost is one thing, but a job like an Amazon warehouse employee will really not help out the economy, nor will it help with unemployment or poverty. It will make it worse. Amazon warehouse employees arent paid all that much, job security at an Amazon warehouse is not all that great and products sold from Amazon dont do much for the Canadian economy nor for the local (Quebec) economy. Amazon does not pay any income tax to Quebec or Canada nor does a Quebec Amazon consumer pay any Quebec or Canadian sales tax on what he/she bought from Amazon. All around shyte from an all around shyte company making billions of dollars for a very shytty person named Bezos. Although admittedly not as shytty as Elon Musk. eeeee...ah-lmost as shytty as Elon Musk if we are honest with ourselves. When I heard the news that Amazon was closing its warehouses and a couple of these people were on the news almost crying about their jobs going away, I actually blamed them. I said to myself, why on earth did you want to be employed there for phoques sake? You are better off on phoquing welfare!!! Pride for actually having a job? Not at Amazon!!! One of the lowest things one could do in life is work for a human being like Bezos...

Full time high school drop outs? Ex military? Former Walmart cashiers? Amazon truck drivers that have been layed off because Amazon left Quebec? Uber eats drivers while they deliver Hot Dogs to the actual border people? Helicopters are supposed to be patrolling the border. What kind of helicopters? Cobras and Apaches? We will have to call them something else up here in Canada as we are woke... Or will it be Blackhawks? This was the ride across the pond. I took a funkier combo of flights on a miles redemption to get onto this A340-600, actually the longest commercial aircraft in existence for at least a decade. I figured as much just looking at it. Here it is pulling up to the gate in Boston. Only took about 6:30 across, which went fast. It's obviously a stretched A340-300 with bigger engines. This thing barreled down the runway and it was "wheels up" in no time at all. I like the 2-4-2 seating in economy. There is not much of an economy cabin in terms of length. A lot of the interior space was surprisingly first and business class. With the fog and clouds, the view over Boston, which could have been spectacular, was nonexistent. I love quadjets. They look so regal, for lack of a better word. I miss them as there are fewer of them.

Im actually kinda pissed the tariff war is not going to happen. Canada had it right to attack the red states. The red states NEED to feel pain. Everybody in North America would have felt the pain. But by attacking the products that the red states offer, that pain that the red states would have felt would have taught them a lesson. Maybe they would have still be morons and turn a blind eye to Trump, but they would have felt the MOST pain of ALL of us. And THAT is what I WANT. I want the red states to phoquing SUFFER!!!

Add to that minorities who have no business voting like that. The Rio Grande Valley counties of Texas near Harlingen, McAllen, and such, have historically been blue, but have become more red. Translation: at least 85% of the population is Mexican or Mexican-American. However, Elon launches his rockets from the South Texas coast and has created "some" jobs. I was down there on S.P.I. for a couple of weeks, oblivious that there were launches from there. I happened to see the mid-January launch from the causeway, along with many others. I totally agree with the Hedge funds that are saying the U.S. stock market is about to crash in a way that people have not seen and we could see a depression that will destroy the poor and low income. Scary times for sure. What is mind boggling is how much is produced and why NAFTA was a good deal for the U.S., Canada, and Mexico as it allowed production on high-cost items to help control costs. Get ready for anything in an Aluminum can / container to jump big time in cost. BBQ that use Stainless steel produced in Canada will cost much more. Tesla Cyber trucks will see a huge jump due to the stainless steel body if anyone really wants to buy such garbage. Layoffs are coming.
