  1. The only time I have hated my tan seats was when the wife wore new blue jeans that she had not soaked in vinegar to set the dark blue dye and so it came off on the seat and was a pain to clean. I usually do a wipe down/cleaning every 3 months so it looks good and clean.

  2. White and Tan needs a good cleaning to look good especially after years of use imho. I do love my tan interior of my Escalade but have always used Leather wipes to keep the chairs and doors clean.

  3. I like two tones..black upper dash and upper doors and tan seats, console, lower doors, headliner works for me...my Jeep is like that.

  4. I get that, but it was cheap. We (myself included) are always wanting more affordable cars but when they make them, we complain about how cheap they are.

  5. Yeah, as long as you keep up with it, it isn't as bad as some make it out to be. Once or twice a year wipe-downs keeps them looking really good for a long time.

  6. I see no reason that there cannot be warm, inviting two-tone interiors, rather than the cold blah single black, grey, interiors. I know many here like the Blue on Black that Cadillac has done, but it comes across as a cold interior. Is that really what we want when we pay this kind of money for an auto and spend so much time in it driving it around?

  7. Completely agree. I just don't like ALL tan or grey, but I do like tan and grey.

  8. Well, they were trying to be distinctive instead of the usual cheap car generic cluster. And it was targeting young drivers.

  10. I, too, prefer all black to a light tan or cloudy-day grey. I also just don't really like all light colored interiors. I really like a light colored leather seat but with most everything else darker. I quite liked my Focus' interior: I just hate when EVERYTHING is the light color:

  11. I think people settle for all black interiors. When the choice is cloudy-day gray or all black, people opt for all black.

  12. This is a vehicle where there's nothing really wrong with it but it has less than zero personality. I've had them as rentals a few times and I always wish I could have had a Grand Cherokee instead.
