  2. My sister went to the University of Illinois (Champagne/Urbana) so I went there a handful of times. I haven't gone back since she left though. There's really no reason so, hahaha.

  3. Champagne/Urbana? I would for a car purchase, but that's like 2.5 hours away. I'll make a drive for the right car at the right price. I drove to Indianapolis for my current Navigator. That's about 4-4.5 hours away. I drove to Chicago for my C350. That's also 4-4.5 hours away. I drove past Louisville for my Mach 1. That was about 5 hours.

  4. Again, I have no problem with the brand. I just want a vehicle that doesn't make statements or is about groupthink. That said, only their Legacy sedan qualifies and its interior (including the dash) is very nice. Is it that their CVT is one that hasn't gone through teething or you just don't like CVTs? Most people don't. I'm just thinking back to that era when one could drive a silver American boulevardier with a plush burgundy cloth interior on a scenic country road in the Sierra Nevada or the Cascades and stop in a funky place for coffee and a pastry. That's not about conformity and making statements. That's about pleasure, serenity, and comfort. That's what I have sought in my vehicles.

  6. Honesty is never easy to hear especially if you believe the opposite of what is said and proven, but the best policy is still honesty and right now we are clearly lacking in that across the US. Thank you for posting Amazing what idiots we have here in the U.S. I apologize on behalf of these lemmings that clearly need to get educated before opening their mouth.

  7. I hear you. It eventually becomes exhausting. I've lived in 8 states and 1 foreign country. Two (or three) states and 1 foreign country would have been courtesy of my parents.* * today would have been my dad's birthday ... he didn't have much of a filter, usually making what would be considered politically incorrect observations about most things he saw ... from the car, on TV, etc. and said under his breath and/or in another language ... and, guess what, most of the time he would hit the nail on the head.
