  1. I think you'd come to regret that trade once the interior of the Camry starts creaking and squeaking over every bump.

  2. Dear diary. He dropped a couple love bombs and complaints 14:30 eastern, 13:30 central. And that is that. He left and as fast as he came.

  3. The problem is that all 3 big NYC airports are complicated and expensive to get to. I don't like Chicago all that much (blame that on experiencing Champaign-Urbana and its connectedness to Chicago), but both O'Hare and Midway are accessible by regular CTA subway car rides from the city.

  4. It turns out that the the CEO at Jack Daniels might be thinking differently about Canadian sales of his whiskey... I do not know how much money this equates to for Jack Daniels. Might be as insignificant as that CEO first suggested. 2% in over Jack Daniel sales he said... Sales to Canada did drop 62% though. Hey, might not be enough for him to cry. But as the rest of the world stands with Canada and they too boycott Jack Daniels, sales declined in Europe as well. Not by much, but the trade war effects with Europe are just now going to have an affect. ... Give this some more time though, like when people drink with a purpose...like Christmas, and we will probably see those tears come out from that CEO and corporate owner of Jack Daniels. Sales of Jack will probably decline in the US at this time \as people wont be able to afford luxuries such as alcohol Christmas in the US wont be so merry Im afraid. Remember, Trump did say that you might be able to afford just one doll. Millennials and Gen Zers do not drink alcohol because of crazy Tik Tok trends and healthier lifestyles will soften the blow from reality I guess... https://ca.news.yahoo.com/company-behind-jack-daniels-says-080000061.html Phoque him Phoque Jack Daniels Phoque American distillers Phoque the US ELBOWS UP!!!

  5. He is missing since Tuesday apparently. Well, since media has spotted him visually... What is he up to? Hiding in a bunker contemplating how to off himself and who is to burn his and Eva's, I mean Melania's body? He did say that he wished his generals were more like Nazi generals.

  6. When it happens, you won't hear about it directly. You'll feel an electricity in the air. You'll hear car horns honking, maybe some fireworks going off, you'll have 47 unread text messages. Entire nations will be celebrating. and you don't even have to ask what it is I'm talking about.

  7. 1. Canadians are not missing, not crying that we cant buy American booze. And even if American booze came back on Canadian shelves, Im certain that ALL Canadians would just skip American booze... 2. Id rather American booze stay off the shelves rather than just a regular boycott. Why? Its a VISUAL reminder for ignoble, uncouth, oafish commoners such as this Christopher Swong fella. And it seems to piss him and others like him off even more. It takes the control right out of their hands. It gives them no hope whatsoever. 3. This mess that the Trump supports created also shows that Canadians do not need American distillers from the south. It shows that distillers from the south need Canada. 4. All the gaslighting he does is just like a child throwing a tantrum. Boo freakin' hoo Swong. Phoque distillers from the south Phoque the US

  8. Due to the lose of Canadian Tourism, many restaurants have closed and many tourist businesses have stated on local news that this year could be their last as owners have paid employees but not themselves and they will have to think about going in debt to stay open next year or close at the end of the season. I suspect many businesses will close as the PNW is already in recession due to tech job lay offs.

  9. I have done that in so many ways in feedback that they have requested even earlier this year wanted to know what it would take to get me to trade in my Escalade for a new one and if I would consider the Escalade IQ. I gave them details on why I would not buy from them unless they did a number of things. Gatekeeping of apps in Google playstore is a major problem for me. No Android Auto / Apple Carplay is another problem. Their decisions for me on what I can and cannot do with my auto I buy from them is a Major problem for me. Go check out the Honda Prologue. Here Honda used the GM Ultium Platform, keeps AA/CP and has a far superior interface with the full Google Store. Better yet, go check out any Kia, Hyundai, Genesis EV and you will see a better way to implement the interface and cell phone compatibility over what GM is doing. Right now, Unless GM does 180 degree change, their poor software implementation and decisions on what you can and cannot do with your auto will keep me from ever buying GM again.

  12. As always, there's an app for that. I have a Plex home server, mostly for video. You could load all of that music on one and have a built in app on your dash to access your entire CD library from the PlexAmp. License for the software is a one-time $120 (I bought it 10 years ago when it was like $70). No more USB sticks. Just be your own private streaming service. You can share with friends too if you wanted (I share my movies with @Paolino). ..... but not if you have a GM EV. That said, you could also store all of your CDs in Apple iTunes on your phone...... ..... but not if you have a GM EV.

  13. GMs gatekeeping (as well as just not allowing CarPlay/Android Auto in the first place) will be the thing that keeps me from ever buying a future EV with them. At least Ford has the good sense to leave that kind of control out of there's. Same with just about everyone else of concern.

  15. 100% percent!!! I wrote it as sleepy Joe in sarcasm. I know the maga folk and some from the left like to call him that but I wanted to be known that he was wide awake and AWARE of the Chinese threat. He was also tough when needed to force an ally, Canada, to adopt the same tariffs. Trudeau was asleep at the wheel for that one and Biden forced him to comply with US demands. And I have no problems with that. There are times when our respective political leaders NEED to force upon one another certain demands. And THAT kind of relationship is a healthy one when hard decisions like that will benefit BOTH countries. Weapons of mass destruction and Jean Chretien, then Canada's Prime Minister, did not buy what George Dubya and the US military complex was selling and did not support the Persian Gulf War 2.0. And Canada initially did not join that coalition. And Canada was outcasted by many Western nations. But that allowed Canada to have its own voice different than the US. That made the world respect Canada and in the long term, the world saw that Canada's intelligence is far greater than just being a lap dog for the US. Also, that signaled to the US that Canada is not a yes man to US politics and in later years, other US political leaders respect Canadas decisions making for a stronger bond between our 2 nations. Obama had a GREAT relationship with Canada. I would also say Biden too.

  16. He was sleepy joe because we could all sleep at night and he wasn't up at 2 a.m. posting unhinged tweets. You're right about all the rest, but here's some additional context. The Chinese EVs are so cheap because there is a price war going on in China in the EV market right now. They are being sold at a loss even in their domestic market because they have so many companies producing them, they are trying to outlive each other to eventually dominate the market. The Chinese goverment also is subsidizing the purchase of EVs on the consumer end while supporting the industry with subsidies. It's the EV tax credit and battery plant subsidy we did but times 10. The Chinese want entry to the North American market for the same reason. They don't want to just sell here, they want to put the legacies out of business so they can raise prices later. They did this with the solar industry already. We once had a booming solar panel production capacity in North America, but China came in and undersold everyone and now China controls that market.
