  1. Great song from the '80s: https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=d6nNz9At9Tc&desc_update=1&si=QvmTbPCHeaVlPyTt Strong instrumentals

  2. Problem is, the people that listen to dis-informative news are too stupid to know what damage Trump has done. I bet anybody that listens to that video has no idea who those guys laughing at Trump are. I only recognize Macron. But I easily understand the dynamics. The ignorant phoques that have no idea what that video is about also think that its a 'fake' news video. Everything those people believe in is false. The irony being those people think that their point of view is the only true and righteous point of view. Its disgusting how these fools have been fooled...

  5. Interesting mix. They are neighbors, geographically, but with very different personalities. I've had many Cuban friends, but never any Puerto Rican ones. Not that I care, but it's something I've noticed. That's young. What happened if I may ask?

  6. I just talked to a Filipino named Fabio in financial services customer service. These can't be their real names. Remember "the" Fabio? Obnoxious.

  7. This is so SPOT on and we should cut off the Billions given to the Oil Industry. The $7,500 EV tax credit is gone, but each gas car still gets $20k+ in subsidies

  8. The F35 is falsely called a 5th gen fighter. It is suppose to be a 5th gen fighter. And it will be soon enough. But there are many 5th gen features missing from it. Not the stealth stuff but some radar technology on it that was mentioned in the video is missing. Even for the US Air Force. Lots of engineering delays and mishaps... Making the F35 slightly better than 4.5 but not quite 5th gen. The Rafale is a 4.5 gen fighter from France. Is capabilities mirror those of an F-16. The Viper version. But better. The Rafale is a newer fighter and has quite the radar capabilities but not stealth tech. Making it a 4.5 gen. The USAF has phased out the F16 for its fleet, but there are many nations that continue buying it and flying it. But those same nations also have bought the Rafale and use the F16 Viper and Rafale tandemly. Truth be told, the F16 Viper version in certain combat situations is better than the F35. Its in the communications and fighting alongside in tandem with other military weapons where the F35 shines and the other 4.5 gen fighters lack. The Eurofighter is a 4.5 gen fighter. Very capable. In some cases batter than the Rafale and F16 Viper and in some cases on par. The SAAB J39 is a 4rth gen fighter. But the way the video explains how the F35 will be using drones to do combat, this is a fairly new way of doing air warfare and the Ukraine war accelerated the tactics. But the Swedes that engineered the SAAB J39 have had that type of warfare in mind and the J39 is equipped radar and communications wise to do battle this very way already. Yeah...like the F35 is supposed to do. To do battle in tandem with other military weapons on the ground, in the air or at sea. In tandem. So the J39 has that capability... Seeing that all nations in Europe have been threatened by Trump in one way or other, all 3 fighters could be used jointly to do a better job than what an F35 could be used for. And when the other nations, including Canada, will refuse to buy the F35, lots of billions of dollars lost. Not counting the billions of dollars of developmental monies already poured into the f35 program. But those monies have been deduced from the books already I suppose. I could get slapped with another face palm emogi or a negative one, the shytes about to get real for you guys... Wake the phoque up!!!

  9. A blue wave in the House is nearly certain and will go a long way to halting the current wave of shenanigans. The midterms are 13 months away and given how many decades have passed since Jan 20, 2025, I'm not convinced we'll even make it. A blue senate is unlikely. There aren't enough flippable red seats to take. Maybe a longshot like Andy Bashir taking out McConnell.... but I think he's gonna run for Prez.

  10. Yes, very sunny, very dry. And winter is either a dusting of snow or 2+ feet. Then more sun.

  11. Yes ... dry area, too. For one, the evergreens look very different from the ones in the PacNW.

  12. I still love the Front Range…felt a twinge of homesickness, lived there nearly 12 years. Took pics of my old apartment building in the Springs, Garden of the Gods, and the office building where I had my first cubicle nearly 30 years ago…

  13. Ok, Sentra ... one up from Versa. I once had a Century 3300 V6 there! One day: Boulder, Estes Park, Idaho Springs on I-70, back down to Denver. Another day: Ken Caryl Ranch, Evergreen, Conifer. The 3300 had a quieter purr than the 3800 and was fuel efficient ... same basic "architecture." I like the eeriness and dry yet cool ambiance of the higher elevations on the Front Range.

  14. I have always believed in Education is the great equalizer that allows people of very different viewpoints to at least communicate, live next door to each other and be respectful that we all want to live a quiet, free life. Death of anyone before their natural time is just WRONG!!! I agree that communication is a very important point and needs to continue in a respectful manner to work out joint agreements to get the bigger picture done. Respect for ALL HUMANITY is a MUST in my book and in this regard, some fall low on the ladder of respect. The biggest question that is very hard to answer is HOW can another human clearly not have respect for others regardless of their choices in life. Regardless of one's choice of spouse, when one does not pay another's bills, what they do in the privacy of one's home on top of a desire for religion or lack of one, should not reduce that human at all. We have far more honorable Transgender, Gay and Lesbian folks as well as folks that choose to be non-binary serving our great country than the weak, ignorant administration we have today. Looking at the companies that are having to go bankrupt, close, sending manufacturing out of the country, the Tariff war is a FAILURE, Idiot47 is a FAILURE, the world sees it, half of this country sees it and as such, America has gone backwards almost 100 years due to the incompetence in DC. Those that think America is getting stronger, are a horse with blinders on, in this case a Human with Blinders on to the reality of the current situation.

  15. Don't be jealous. Just kidding. Just do it. Easier said than done, but I recommend it. And you nailed it. It is considered a crossing in that it's New York to Southampton, or vice versa. Those who know and love this voyage would bristle at it being called a cruise. It follows the traditional historic route of its Cunard predecessors. This is my third crossing and fourth time on QM2. I cut out a lot of things in life. I hit up BK on Whopper Wednesday, for example! Say you're heading to Europe and staying a while. Compare a nice enough cabin to outlays for one-way airfare, lodging for 7 nights, your daily meals, and that you don't have rental car costs and utilities. It's not that much more. You'll have to get an internet package. I also participate in the tipping package and give extra to the stateroom attendant and the dinner waiter and second person. I don't buy alcoholic drinks and I don't go into the casino. I bought a mug and a t-shirt this time ... usually stuff like that. I do have some CCL stock I bought a few years ago. The 7 day crossing gets you $100 in credit. This crossing runs deep in my family. I made 2 round trips on then active Italian Line as a kid. My parents and some of my relatives did it more often than that. Italian Line still called it a transatlantic crossing, but they had stops. Often, from NYC, it was (1) Portugal: Lisbon, (2) Spain: Algeciras/Gibraltar, Barcelona, OR Palma de Mallorca, (3) France: Cannes, and finally (4) Genoa and Naples. They did drop off and pick up passengers at these ports, so people from 4 Southern European countries used their ships to immigrate or repatriate. In port, we usually took the 4 hour motorcoach tours. Lisbon was my favorite port. My parents said the food on Italian Line was top notch, but it was definitely Italian-centric and only somewhat international. The cabin attendants made us these delicious panini with prosciutto, cheese, etc. when we kids asked for them as snacks. You will never forget crossing an ocean as a child.

  16. My CT6 has these thumb rest bumps at 10 and 2 that I use often. But when I’m doing a straight line cruise on the freeway I often hook my thumbs at 5 and 7 so I can rest my elbows on the armrests.

  17. It really does, though some non-wrapped are better than others, and I do like wood on the wheel as well, we have that in the 300. Honda non-wrapped wheels tend to be good. Chrysler, GM and Ford non-wrapped wheels are awful. VW and Toyota are tolerable but nothing special.

  18. Sooooo jealous! A crossing on the Queen Mary 2 is definitely on my bucket list. That reminds me that I need to start accumulating Carnival stock. If you are a shareholder with at least 100 shares, you get onboard credits up to $250 depending on the length of the cruise. The stock is only about $30/share right now.

  19. I had to look up the Feast of San Gennaro in NYC ... courtesy of Neapolitan immigrants since 1926. This crusty dude is of local vintage ... not from the motherland. He can't pronounce "cacio" correctly because he was probably brought up with a dialect. It's "ca-cheeo," not "ca-gee-uh." Love all the blondies who want to culturally appropriate themselves to being Italian. I've seen these types in language courses in h.s. and college and they can be pretty dumb. I should make it a point to be in NYC during San Gennaro. The official day in Naples is September 19. The NYC festival runs about 10 days. I could get lunch or dinner in Little Italy on a daily basis. But, take note that a la carte street food + NYC prices can make for a dent. The a la carte pricing at Greek festivals in secondary cities adds up, so imagine how so in NYC.

  20. Speaking of rail, I hope that California completes high-speed rail. Southwest Airlines certainly doesn't like it, but it's better for the state. And DC doesn't support it, which is no surprise. The Big 3 (one reportedly more so) pushed streetcars and fixed route urban transit off the streets of the Los Angeles area decades ago, with a subway type system not coming back until the freakin' '90s.
