  1. I want to doubt they would give a person a car that had absolutely nothing done to the engine....it may not be modified, but it should be at least brought to like new condition. In the cases the engines are modified, it's usually because they see the car in the musclecar or Fast-And-Furious boy racer mold.
  2. While I definitely want USC to keep it up, so that Los Angeles is at the top of a sporting world that much longer, I appreciate UCLA that much more as a fan, with them keeping the heat turned up....unfortunately I don't know if they're playing today to make sure they're not giving up the ghost.
  3. I don't know, just always kinda figured an admin of a net forum to actually have part of the program on their own server or something and be able to do things like delete or ban accounts, or change other things with the program, while a mod was there simply to direct traffic, and lock, anchor, or delete posts.
  4. Reminds me of the chick I wanted to pull who swore up and down her Q45 was front-drive....
  5. One last quick off-topic throwaway: Ted's an admin now too? Is anyone simply a mod?
  6. -Mercury Lynx -first-gen Escort wagon
  7. My favorite PMR jobs were the Ranger, the Legend, that Microbus, and especially that Chevelle (which could have stepped to Overhaulin's work) I hate their work on brand new cars, and that ridiculous Pacer (which is almost blatantly a car someone bought at a boneyard just to get on the show)
  8. You the resident Toyota fan and you don't know a Corolla FX when you see it? http://videos.streetfire.net/playlistbuild...05-3B6BC93123BB
  9. It's cool to see that it's the elders that are pushing the envelope...a lot of arts don't necessarily have to be left to the youngstas, and skateboarding is one of them.
  10. You a fool, man...
  11. And oh yeah, an 06 Civic coupe driven by what looked to be a high school chick. The front end on that car ain't half bad.
  12. -67-72 Chevy C-10, dropped on 20" chromes, but used as a work truck -Mitsubishi Raider on a car transport with a bunch of Eclipses. -Two Northstar Eldorados in a row in the left turn lane, both white. -60 Cadillac hardtop 4-door -54 Ford 2-door -red Viper GTS And I've been seeing new SLKs all month long
  13. No, I'm not being facetious. Elvis may have given rock 'n roll (the "n roll" part wasn't dropped until the late 60s) a white face that parents of similar persuasion woud allow their daughters to listen....but he was not putting in the work that invented the sound. That's like saying Kenny G is the father of jazz. Elvis wasn't even the first national rock 'n roll artist. He wasn't even the first white face of rock 'n roll...he'd tell you that himself if he was alive today....
  14. Do you dare say Elvis invented rock 'n roll?
  15. The car he hit was a Corolla FX. I guess you never saw that Prelude in the movie New Jersey Drive. I'll give you drifting, however....
  16. Ain't you two like two years apart? Neither one of you were school age when Milli Vanilli was the big deal. All that aside, after the scandal came up, their stuff hasn't been on the radio or video shows since.
  17. Who said the White Sox were favored? I'd probably like to see the Sox win it slightly more, so Chicago can finally get the baseball nut off that's given them blueballs for too long... This one will go at least six just because.....
  18. History will be made in either direction. Time to sit back enjoy, as of Saturday.
  19. Surely some of you have heard the following intro: "MUSIC MAKE YOU LOSE CONTROL!!" If you clicked on enough chicks' Myspace pages over the summer, you feel my pain....
  20. Most of my driving record BS has long passed and I'm quite a bit over 25...I should be all good with my next car (if it's something old)
  21. The rearview fell off the windshield of the Safari (again) and I haven't bothered to run to Pep Boys again to glue it back up. Thing was, I got used to using stricty the convexes to do any kind of seeing behind me and to my sides (it's a panel van, in which case you need convexes) and I just cock my head back for backing out. So I haven't been pressed to glue it back up. If I was in a car with a full greenhouse, however, I'd feel creeped out with no rearview (but then again, that's obviously due to not having convexes at the ready) Sideviews are essential in every respect IMO....I've driven enough Uhaul trucks to understand this.
  22. Barring some things that wouldn't fly on real world roads, they should build this as is. http://www.autoweek.com/files/specials/200...os/pages/01.htm
  23. Hello, bright boys....that's actually a Carina, a much bigger car. Tercels weren't even sold in Europe.
  24. I know, right? Flip it and buy a Camcord or Explorer...plasma TV...pay off their credit card or something. Thing is, the Overhaulin' cars have daily driver written all over most of them....Pimp My Ride's work is definitely something you get rid of.
  25. By the results, it's pretty obvious that GM should never have bought Saab....doesn't mean GM has a right to close it down. I really wish GM kept Lotus, however....
