Dude, it's waaaaaay too early to be this impaired while posting. Please, for your health, lay off the sauce.

Disney Channel? Seriously, I loved this one, too. My first best friend lived across the street, and his mother's name was Susie and she had a blue coupe when we were little.

    Me too...but $12.50 for a CAR? That's pretty ridiculous.

I remember watching this as a kid...
  5. Agreed. It makes it look like an STS.
  6. Huh?
  7. Intermittent harsh shifting...probably the PCS. Just had to have mine replaced in my Aurora...that's the only reason I know. I'm really not much of a gearhead.
  8. I think your avatar is far more accurate of the situation.
  9. I didn't say that--it could be going out. But it could also be those other things. Just take it to a good mechanic for a diagnosis.
  10. Your transmission may benefit from a flush if the fluid is dirty and fouling up the sensor. You may also need to get a new PCS solenoid. Take it in to your trusted mechanic/dealership and get it scanned for any codes, followed by a checkup. Unrelated question: have you replaced your intake manifold gaskets? The OEM ones are known for failures causing engine damage if not checked up on or replaced with better-designed aftermarket ones.
  11. Well of course California uses more fuel than anyone else! The Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles are the busiest port system in the world, and what powers ships? Diesel. Trucks are necessary to ship goods to and from the ports, and what do they use? Diesel. Based on the blog post, I cannot tell if LAX and its jet fuel factors into the equation or not, but regardless CA already has more freeways, busier ports, and more truck traffic than anywhere else in the world.
  12. Why GM is flailing, in a nutshell.
  13. No, that would be "tacky," but we're used to it. :AH-HA_wink:
  14. Dude, with all this anxiety, I hope you have your Xanax ready whenever you visit the site in case you might accidentally stumble into a contentious thread. :AH-HA_wink: On a more serious note, ocn, where do you draw the line? You have posted many topics in the past about gay rights (overtly political), and no one cares or gets riled up. You mention abortion and politics and religion (abortion really isn't its own separate category...) as this nasty time bomb, but I'll have you know loki and I finished our conversation on that via PM since the thread was prematurely locked. With 100% confidence, I don't think loki and I are at each others' throats.
  15. I was flipping through and caught this too...pretty cool, I guess.
  16. I didn't see any article or anything accopanying this. Just the table on the Texas' SOS website. So...are you sure the parties haven't already done the paperwork and the website just has not been updated yet? Or maybe they're holding out until after the conventions to make it seem "official"?
  17. Optical illusion of silver car on gray background. The front and middle portions of the car are level...the ass is just way up in the air.
  18. My next car.
  19. Partie Traumatic, the new Black Kids album.
  20. SAAB builds the best interiors in GM. They don't have all the flashy colors or gimmicky features that many other brands have, yet SAABs look and feel really niiiiiiiiice. The 9-3 is the perfect example of this: a really nice, high-quality interior that is really just a bunch of matte grey plastic with trim pieces and leather. But the plastic is high quality, the switchgear is top notch, and because of the actual DESIGN of the interior, it feels really, really upscale. If GM wants to streamline its global operations, they should have the SAAB people be the interior expert designers for all of GM's brands, IMO.
  21. Northie locked the most recent one the other day after ocn got in a tizzy :AH-HA_wink:
  22. Hey Josh, glad to hear you're doing well. Too bad to hear about Livonia, but this economy has been brutal to a lot of good, hardworking people. I hope your mother enjoys her new G5; IMO those are really sharp-looking cars. Hope you stick around.
  23. And we've already established that as long as it doesn't become incendiary and uncivilized, that "Rule #2" is a relic from the Josh era and isn't really necessary. We had a previous thread that discussed this. So far, I see informed debate from all sides of the political spectrum. If the mods disagree, then that's cool...but I personally think it's silly to be a nanny on here. If you're not comfortable with a particular thread, then don't participate in it.
  24. Well, the first step is to get most of the oil coming from NA sources, and not other countries/continents with power brokers who have animosity towards us. THEN the concentration will shift on reducing the fossil fuel consumption to a bare minimum.
