  2. Add "no rear seat armrest" to the features lacking in the Malibu. Sorry, but that's just one pathetic oversight. On the CTS though...when I looked at a few in LA, I noticed that the screws were exposed in the rear cupholders. Is that for real, or is there an insert that was removed for the show? Having exposed screws in a place for drinks (and spills) is not very smart. That said, that was my only complaint...and I'm not easily impressed.
  3. Roland is one of the best for overall features. I love working with Rolands, and have found that they do a good job recording onto a computer with minimal distortion.
  4. Is it just me, or has this been one of the coldest Southland autumn/winters in the last 4 years?
  5. Honestly, if you're looking at midsized SUVs, go for the Ford Explorer or Mercury Mountaineer. Either of those are more competent than the TB or Envoy. I have used both vehicles to drive cross-country to move myself in and out of university, and the Ford twins have a more usable cargo area (wheel wells don't intrude, more boxy shape, does not taper toward the rear, larger hatch opening, etc) as well as much nicer interiors.

  7. Happy birthday!
  8. Well, biodiesel is the better technology.
  9. Glad Mercury Milan is doing coparatively well. That division has so much unrealized potential.
  10. OK So Chevrolet cannot get an El Camino because it has "too many models" but now it gets Alpha from Pontiac? Aye...If PCS didn't seem to be validating this, I wouldn't believe it.
  11. Gotta love Google...
  12. I'd assume the Fusion is pretty fun-to-drive. I test drove the Milan a while back, and it was very satisfying. Honestly, it might not have a best-in-class interior, but it offers nav, and in the upper trims it's nice enough for me. If I didn't get my 01 Aurora, I could have gone for a Milan if I had the money.
  13. [delurking] Coolant everywhere, huh? That happened to my Aurora after an accident on the 405 (no worries, she's good as new now). There's either a leak in the radiator, or the hose from the coolant reservoir to the radiator is leaking. If the car is old and has been sitting a while, my bet is on the hose. Try to pinpoint where the spray is coming from. Wait for the old girl to cool down (overnight preferably) and then pop the hood and start the engine. Get it warm, and try to rev it. See where the spray/steam is coming from. In my case, it was steam that then condensed and settled all over the engine compartment. After my accident, my condenser and radiator were smooshed together in addition to a crack in the plastic at the top of the radiator where the impact sheared off a peg holding it in place. It wasn't the crack in the plastic as I sealed it with JB Weld, yet it still went through coolant like a Kappa spends her trust fund. Whatever you decide to do, good luck with it. From the pictures it looks like a beauty, so my leaning is to try and fix it and go easy on it. Again, for cars that have sat for a while, the hoses are some of the first things to go, so if that's the case, fix it. If something more serious is wrong, then I'd recommend looking for alternative transportation options because money pits are not fun. Best of luck. [/delurking]
  14. Man...and to think Cory thought I was the only one to take issue...
  15. Try the present wrapping thing. Honestly you're telling yourself "OK, I'm putting it aside for later."
  16. Sounds more like a Chrysler issue to me. Take it in to your local Chevrolet dealership and see if they can do anything for you.
  17. I'm really sorry you have such a sad, empty life.
  18. This sounds weird but works: Whatever thought keeps showing up: mentally put it in a box, cut wrapping paper, tape, crease, cut ribbon, tie bow, and then put it away for later. Repeat as necessary.
  19. :rotflmao:Corey: Whatever, no one can tell you anything. I already explained why I'm not directing this at Satty. And show me the hypocrisy. Honestly I'm done with this...
  20. Mine's still a single...I usually just flip over to the radio until I get to a red light or something and then change discs.
  21. I'm drawing a blank on anything about your actual driving I've criticized you for in the past. Maybe you're thinking of someone else? Honestly, it just boggles my mind how self-centered you are--I mean good grief the texting can wait until you're at a red light or something, but while actually driving to take your eyes off the road like that for the time it takes to text...it's just irresponsible. And before you ask why I'm "picking on" you and not Satty--he at least acknowledges it isn't safe. You act like there's absolutely nothing dangerous whatsoever about it! I will fight to the death for my right to take calls and talk on the phone while driving...because my eyes are still on the road at all times. I don't even dial unless I'm at a stop. We're talking about a Nelson, HA! HA! "I told-you-so" kind of laugh.Change it up a bit...someone boasts of their super ability to drive while drunk. Nothing's EVER happened and nothing will according to this person. What, you telling me you'll feel bad for them when they wrap their car around a tree? One less irresponsible, reckless driver on the road endangering everyone else from my point of view... My point of view isn't immature--mean? maybe a little bit. Frustrated? Most definitely. Too many people have gotten themselves and more importantly others hurt while recklessly driving. I feel terribly for innocent people who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time...but I feel nothing at all for the reckless whose luck just happened to run out.
  22. people tell me valium can work wonders
  23. Yup. Give him a few months and he will be telling us about/downplaying an accident he had while texting...and maybe, just maybe he'll admit we told him so.BV, I will be laughing my ass off when (not if) you have an accident while texting. It is just a matter of time, and I won't feel one bit sorry for you. You just better not injure anyone else or I will be going OFF.

    Spring Ahead!

C'mon man...82 with no humidity is fine. Don't be a pussy :AH-HA_wink: Growing up in the midwest I played many soccer games in 85 with ridiculously high humidity...your body just can't breathe in that...
