  1. The Tribeca interior is amazing. The guages are designed so backseat/passenger seat drivers can't really see them :AH-HA_wink:
  2. Word.

    CD/BP. Is old.

    Happy Bday
  4. There was a tire brand with the name Aurora, and GM used Aurora on license from them.
  5. Cananopie, you have not sat in the Lucerne. I can tell that by your posts. Get back to us when you have. The Lucerne is far behind in its class. I wouldn't really call it a luxury car, but rather a nice fullsizer. To me, Lucerne = Caprice. As a Buick, it needs to be much better.
  6. I wouldn't worry too much it should be good...the Sebring is one of Chrysler's best models as far as attainability goes...the convertible is something they HAVE TO GET RIGHT. They will. I have confidence in DCX...

Do nt worry...hush hush for me :AH-HA_wink:
  8. That interior is not that great. I think it looks cheap in pictures, and you can tell it IS cheap when you sit in one like I did at LAIAS. The new VWs have great exteriors, but the interiors are not up to their usual par.
  9. Heh...I was thinking the same thing.GM should work on getting their PR people more stylish and less...1985.

Remember when polls were banned for a while due to an overexuberant member creating 5+ polls per day for a week? Again, it isn't so much that anyone is doing anything "wrong," but that some people have a hard time knowing when to stop. Too much of a good thing...if you get my drift :AH-HA_wink:

Maybe I didn't express myself the most clearly...What you said above is what I was getting at regarding the lack of professionalism. The whole "Toyota can go #*@& themselves" or "Jap crap" or other such expressions that get thrown around. It gets irritating when in a section like The Other Guys someone posts a picture of the new Lexus ES and while most of the members are wanting to discuss the positives/negatives of the new model and debate how it will affect GM and the marketplace in general, you will get a post like this one: Posts like this are not professional, they do not contribute to the threads, and they don't even try to be intelligently objective.Turbo, I've seen you post a few times on that other quiet site (not GMI) and if you go to the feedback thread in The Gearbox you can read a few posts by Flint and haypops to get a good feel for what I'm referring to. Oh, and I too do not enjoy being accused of things I did not do...look at the *F* Cancels MetaOne thread for the latest, sterling example of this.
  12. As far as I've heard, if this is brought to America it would have rear-biased AWD. So...how is that a problem?

C&G is slowly turning into more of a MySpace-like, touchy-feely place for certain people, and those people tend to be active members. I've said from the start that I joined this site to talk cars, not make friends, though the latter has happened through the process. I wish C&G would get as professional as it was in the beginning and lose a lot of the fluff that gets old after a while.

  15. Yea of course, but they really look like MB's design direction as of late...
  16. They aren't calling it a 4-door coupe, silly. I just think the racy roofline is "coupe-like," because coupes tend to have racy rooflines. Seriously, chill out.

  18. I can see where Flint is coming from. I think GM should compete in the segment, but it is the extent of which that I am cautious on...GM needs more models for economies-of-scale, but they can't all be ponycars too or else they will just cannibalize sales.
  19. Thanks for yet another meaningful comment. Yes I'm being sarcastic.
  20. I've sat in an R-Class, and they have fine interiors, with the exception of the location of the transmission shifter (column).
  21. A natural evolution of the current model. Let's hope the electronic gremlins that have plagued the current model are gone. Love the sexy coupe-like styling and beautiful beltline!
  22. The Pursuit is coming over as the G4 and G5 this fall. G4 = sedan, G5 = coupe.
  23. Thanks for avoiding this one. Now, do you have anything meaningful to say about this new Lexus?
  24. I want to like it, but I can't. Once again Toyota uses weird design cues with the exterior. The C-pillar looks very dated, and the rear overhang is a bit much.
