  1. Everybody has their bias, it's human nature and what makes us competitive. If we all liked the same thing it would be very boring wouldn't it?
  2. Hold on I just fell out of my chair because you just mention something good about GM. Lol Yes, it will be a great flagship car for sure.
  3. Defensive? No. But here we have another triggered diatribe from you. You are so fixated on people on here who are apparent "fanboys" that you search out that you can't even concentrate on the subject at hand and that's the Koreans copying all other manf's, something others on here have agreed with like with the fugly new G90. So are they all GM fanboys or Acura fanboys or MB fanboys too because they mention something good about said brand and knock on another make that you like? Your logic just doesn't pencil out.
  4. Just that Lexus front end that kills the vibe. Looks like we'll see a Cadillac version of the C8 with the Blackwing, there's already prototypes out. They just need to price it right, $20k more is acceptable for a luxury line markup, but $40k more like the XLR and ELR was the issue they had.
  5. A 3 banger is a ridiculously weak offering the 1.5L I4 would have been sufficient with similar mpg's.
  6. You know you love it and secretly want one! 😜
  7. They are all Makes not a Model within a larger brand like the Mustang that's the main difference. They didn't have another brand to fall back on with SUV's/CUV's like Ford or Chevy so they were forced into building SUV's because the market demanded them. Obviously, I was being facetious about the signatures. 😂 He just wants to make it like every other automaker is following his lead. Musk is a pretty narcissistic guy.
  8. Where on here did I ever say I like every freakin' car or CUV that GM comes out with? I don't give a flying F about either of these two CUV's, shares a profile because it's in the same class that makes sense, not to you of course. I don't like Land Rovers, they are poorly built, unreliable vehicles, I was comparing the looks that Hyundai/Kia clearly once again, took it upon themselves to "cash in the chips" and emulate. Of course you would use a Lexus for comparison closeted Toyota fanboy just get it out there, it's clear to everyone on here stop denying it. Nice catch with NOT Lexus below, we'll just stick with this post because you are so observant in your ways...move along grumpy Nelly...
  9. But it does have Volvo'esque headlights with the horizontal LED lightpipes through the center of the assembly.
  10. We all know you're hammered drunk on the daily so there's that. Totally copied the LR look in the front not just the "sleekness" of the headlights look at the hood and how it ties in only LR has that signature design on all their vehicles. Only difference in back is that the Kia looks like it got rear ended by a Hyundai. LOL Kia and the LR both will prob. throw a rod about the same time Kia is not much if at all better than the Land Rover.
  11. Ugh, it already looks dated...and that baleen whale mouth for a grille.🤮

  13. The SUV market demand not Porsche necessarily, but they saw the demand and jumped on it. The VW Touareg was the same exact SUV as the Cayenne, AWD chassis and all, only part of the body that was different was the front clip, so big savings for VW in that sense. Kind of like GM does with the fullsize SUV triplets minus S'clade taillights.
  14. Exactly. I can tell you quality is top notch inside and out from the one I sat in at the reveal event I went to for the C8. They had hardcore Porsche guys already placing orders and Ferrari and R8 guys rolling in to check it out. Pretty impressive turnout really.
  15. Here we go again Kopycat Kia...a Range Rover Evoque knock off front end and Ford Escape back end with the top of taillights trailing up the side...front is so obvious even the way the Evoque has a higher hood that drops down onto the lower qtr. panels and grille. What's with the huge black plastic blank below the headlights? Doesn't look functional and looks horrible! Headlight redesign at the last minute? LOL!
  16. 😂 Never gonna happen with Cadillac around. Porsche and others had to add an SUV per market demand.
  17. Yeah, you Canadians and your hockey is quite a stark contrast to anything else really! LOL!! 😜
  18. Yep, I caught that too..."because they had to." Porsche just like other luxury car and luxury sports car marques had to build an SUV to align with the market demand.
  19. Right, but it just started and it was racking up about 1 sig. every 2 or 3 sec. Maybe we should all sign it to skew the outcome 😂
  20. Average is around 60 right now and that's the average, but the C5 being a huge improvement over the C4 then the even more technologically advanced C6 and C7 GM brought in a lot of Gen. X'ers to Corvette like myself. C8 will bring in even more younger buyers to drop the average even more. 👍🏻
  21. Just now over 1,700 have signed and it was still racking up pretty consistently, not sure if it's actual real time signatures. Could get interesting with all the greedy attorneys' out there.
  22. All the luxury marques you mentioned were really forced to go with an SUV model(s) because the market demanded it. Ford already has SUV's with Ford and Lincoln so they're covered. I think this Mach-E madness is more about a fear that the "muscle car icon" will lose it's image by becoming a line of different models like an SUV that is also an EV and the pony car V8 purists aren't good with that.
  23. Yes, there are many different generations of purists, so yes purists whether they be younger or older purists do buy the new cars.
  24. Doubt it. And Corvette buyers are a totally different demographic than Mustang buyers, not even close. Now a Camaro EUV would be a better example, but this isn't in GM's plans now or in the future and with the kickback Ford is getting from purist 'Stang owners it makes it even less likely. They're leading the new BEV3 with Cadillac so they are going premium luxury on the new skateboard platform.
