  1. Cry me a river. That's why you were triggered right? Stating it several times? Sure back track on being an ass because you can't erase after you've calmed down from your apparent tantrum haha. Funny I'm the one with two college degrees including an MS yet you think you know about my knowledge? That's some funny sh!t right there! It's selective reading because I detect BS and don't waste my time with it. I was comparing warranties with vehicles on opposite sides of the spectrum and you went further off with other manf., hypocritical much? I've seen where you and your buddy go off on others on here that don't agree with you, so it's you with an ego problem guy.
  2. Can't live without the clarity of SiriusXM or my mp3's. FM has nothing but commercials anymore.
  3. Yep, cassette deck and 12 disc CD changer in the C5, state of the art for 1998! 20 years later, 2018 Silverado has bluetooth connection for phone and mp3's along with Android Auto and Apple Car Play
  4. To put this back on track about Hyundai's 10yr/100k new buyer warranty and the fact that they lean on it to sell and do not transfer it to every other owner speaks volumes. Hyundai does not have a quality or reliable image or loyal owners like Chevy or Ford here in the U.S.
  5. I stayed on the subject of Hyundai you changed it to GM and Toyota. "Custom" toyota RAV4 throw away? Seriously? Quite the classic, classic waste of time and money. Quite the dedicated love for toyota you have there. LMAO!! WTF? "cyber stalking you?" Dream on. Everyone on here looks at other peoples' cars, it's part of what the site is about you freakin' weirdo.
  6. @surreal1272 Also, I proudly post what I drive, like most on here. Funny that you don't...
  7. GM stands behind their vehicles with a fully transferable warranty to every owner 5yr./60k powertrain included unlike Hyundai, even Hyundai admits the 10/100 is really what makes the metal move not their poor reliability rating. Largest Recall in modern U.S. history "Unintended Acceleration" with 7.5M 2009 -2011 vehicles sold in the U.S. was with TOYOTA...you do the math...
  8. 10-4. My point is, there's a reason they offer the 10yr/100k for even just the powertrain to move them off the lots. I know people who have purchased them and lets just say they were glad to have the 10/100, although it's not transferable to the second owners and on where it drops to 5yr/60k for all warranty work.
  9. Kinda like the opposite end of the spectrum in cost with Hyundai/KIA with an obvious reason to have a 10yr. 100k B to B warranty?
  10. @Drew Dowdell out of all the pics you have to use, did you have to pick one of the ugliest lux CUV's out there? 🤢 That now even more exaggerated spindle grille is just...🤮
  11. I do like the look of these Alfa Giulia's front end, the triangle grille makes it look like it should have a rotary in it. Obviously we all know it doesn't, but a unique look none-the-less. Too bad they're so unreliable. What about Ferrari? I think they're mostly pretty good. Lambo's are kind of fireballs, but the Prancing Horse is pretty sweet.
  12. Thanks, although the article is wrong about GM V8's all being assembled in Mexico. The GM Tonawanda powertrain plant in NY has been assembling the V8's for some time and they have the contract for the 2019 5.3L and 6.2L engines. It's a pretty high tech. plant too. 🇺🇸👍🏻 http://gmauthority.com/blog/2018/05/2019-silverado-v8-engines-gm-selects-tonawanda-plant-to-produce-5-3l-and-6-2l-mills/
  13. Oh I know what Several solid wet drops of rain are, I grew up in the PNW in rural Oregon in the Willamette Valley. The Oregon Coast has drizzle inland in the Valley it's solid drops of rain. I also worked for two different companies based out of Seattle is why I was jerking your chain 😁
  14. Ocean...so does that mean it's amphibious? Better seal up those batteries! All kidding aside it looks pretty cool from behind other than the kind of busy bumper area the tail lights look sleek and blend in with the hatches upper body line nicely. 300 mi. range is the sweet spot as well, now if it actually gets that in real world testing we shall see.
  15. Better bundle up for the freezing Pacific North"Wet" Fall and Winter weather. 😜 Drizzle?! Is that what you guys call steady rain now just to feel better about it? 🤣
  16. Yep, Robert is correct he gets a gold star for the day 💫 🙂👍🏻 https://www.enginelabs.com/news/mighty-chevrolet-stovebolt-six/ Some guy on a Velocity car series show (MT TV now) was trying to say it was actual stove bolts used to fasten the heads. Technically they'd have the chemistry in the steel to fight a high heat environment and that type of hardware was probably hard to come by for early auto manufacturing so you never know, the first ones in 1929 might have been!
  17. So you moved from the beautiful desert SW to boring Ohio? That had to be a shock to your system 🙄😂 Yes, June gets a bit toasty before the Monsoon settles in which cools it down and the humidity from it burns off pretty quickly as well. I think July and August are the worst and certain days of June get hot from about mid month through the end of August or mid September so maybe 3 months total of higher but low humidity heat. I like it 80-85 degrees even 90 is nice because of the low humidity. Growing up in the PNW in Oregon I had plenty of clouds and rain for a lifetime so I love the sun, been here 8 years now. Last Oct. was upper 90's until today (Halloween), but this year it's been cooler than normal at 70-80 for a high, supposed to be 76 today so it depends on the year or if an Indian Summer or not. 12:45pm 69 degrees and 25% hum. on my weather station going on a mountain bike trail ride here shortly. It's hard to beat SW Fall weather anywhere in the nation which is why all the Snow Birds are back...ugh lol...Oregon has already been below freezing because of the Arctic Blast hitting the upper section of the country. I'm good right where I am thank you! Yep, I read that Nissan was definitely against what Renault wanted with the last merger attempt. That's been a nasty marriage.
  18. Our Summers make you a real man 💪🏻😐 😎 It's a dry heat just turn the AC up for July and Aug. the only brutal months really. Pretty nice today it was 70 today 50 for low. Fall is awesome here. Really hard to beat AZ weather 9 - 10 mos. out of the year, you know that. So. Cal for an escape from the heat? There are times they are just as hot as The Valley especially this last Summer. I travel there often for work.
  19. Yep, that's why I like National Emerald Isle just pick one that's big enough whether a fullsize SUV/CUV or Large Premium car and go.
  20. I was being facetious, you just can't hear me lol. I know that all fullsize cars aren't exactly the same size, just like fullsize trucks dimensions are slightly different. I know, it's so annoying when you know they're wrong and want to tell them that a Chevy Malibu is not a fullsize car haha.
  21. I was talking on a technical basis. Go to the rental counter they will completely confuse people on the size of cars and what they think is a compact, midsize or fullsize.
