  1. I'm not very impressed, Buicks should be aspirational and distinctive. And also, why don't I see projectors in the headlights?
  2. I saw a silver Traverse being filmed for a commercial in Lower Manhattan about 3 weeks ago. It looked great. The rear / tailights definitley have shades of Camaro.
  3. Post a photo of your Oldsmobile! My 2001 Alero GX 5-speed:
  4. I also think that the Sebring is a butt-ugly car (inside & out). But, the low price makes up for it somewhat.
  5. Without a doubt I would choose the Intrigue. The Intrigue is contemporary and fairly attractive even in light of today's car market. It's restrained and classy whereas the 98 is, in my opinion, just ancient and blehh. Further, while the 3800 is cheap and reliable, the Shortstar is one sweet engine, smooth and refined. The Intrigue has far superior suspension and brakes as well (in terms of performance).
  6. The front door looks too small...
  7. After driving one diesel (a Fiat Croma), I would definitley want to buy one.
  8. Are they serious?!? How is a Freestyle a Taurus??? Worst decision ever.
  9. That lineup would be insanely bliss-hot if it were real. Too bad it's unlikely that any manual will be offered. I'll take a 2.4 Sport.
  10. Subtract the moonroof and that would be the CTS I would get. Black CTSs look lethal.
  11. The Sky looks great. I like the windowline. The Solstisce, however, looks lame and way too aftermarket.
  12. Ugh, everything about that vehicle is putrid. It's just wrong in so many ways.
  13. Congrats to GM; The Sequel looks very promising from both a design and technology standpoint. Looks kinda like a Saab. Note the similar window lines and d pillar.
  14. My mom owns a 98 intrigue. It's a really fun car with a nice responsive suspension setup. The only downside is a mediocre interior. When the black paint is freshly waxed and shiny, it looks stunning.
  15. I saw a car carrier full of G5s about 2 weeks ago.
  16. GM does not need a separate division to cover every niche. Sure, Buick, Pontiac, and GMC all have their unique target audiences, but is it really necessary to have an entire division devoted to each one? I'm sure someone could justify the need for a brand comprised of "sub 20k AWD convertibles" or one of "aspirational import-fighting performance vans with a hint of luxury" but they probably aren't good ideas. Rather than spending effort on trying to differentiate each product and make it fit into the GM brand hierarchy, why not build fewer models and make each the best that it can be?
  17. Essentially, Bill Heard Chevrolet in Antioch, TN steals a Silverado back from a customer's driveway late at night. 18. Poor job "fixing" his entry, the color is smeary and doesn't match. Let him do his own work, he only asked for advice..
