  1. Saw my first 500 with a washington plate on the road today. Was on the corner of 4th and Jackson in Downtown Seattle. It was in the middle lane between a Hummer H2 and a Ford F450. BOy did that ugly little car look small. Guess someone actually bought it as it was not dealer plates.
  2. LOL, I like this plan, I will go with a little German Debt, China Debt, France Debt
  3. I can be irrational to both 2 and 4 door, if it is not full size, this 6'6" tall Shreck ain't fitting.
  4. CTS, ATS, SRX and even the XTS are all winners and will continue to help move cadillac back to the world standard. I truly believe the people there are aware of the history that messed up Caddy to begin with and know they have to be on the bleeding edge of competition with MB and BMW to really make it. Unlike the Glue stock Lincoln, Caddy has much going for it and will sprint further ahead over the next year to year and 1/2.
  5. Volvo is another company I put in the bucket with Mazda. I wonder if it will be here in 10 years. They have their die hard, but do not seem to be winning much market gains. History marker to come for the books I predict.
  6. Yup Saw a red one again this morning on the commute into the office. Now that it comes to mind, it had a funky plate on the car. I wonder if it is a traveling mule going to the dealerships around here to show off to people and build excitement. Caddilac did that with their early SRX and I saw one driving around my area for a few weeks.
  7. Ugh, Nodded off just looking at it. Will pass and Jeers on this brick on wheels.
  8. I love the new Dart design, but have to question their engine layout. Why buy an RT with an engine that gets a little more HP but considerable less Torque compared to the Ralleye that has less HP but considerable more Torque. The 1.4L engine will be far more fun to drive than the 2.4L. Maybe I am missing something, but I expect a top of the line car like the R/T to have best HP and Torque, not be an equal to as much smaller engine.
  9. H'mmmmm Not a fan of nanny devices. Cruise control should be simple and basic and not have built in breaking, etc of taking over control of the car IMO. In regards to Impala SS, I agree with Riviera, let the Impala top out at LTZ. Create a Real RWD large sedan that is just labelled SS. That would be a hot ticket as a solid Full Size Halo car for Chevy. In fact you should have all Vehicles stop at LTZ and then if they want a performance version of that suv or car, they drop the name and add it to the SS family of performance.
  10. While the HP on a FWD is pretty cool, I am not feeling the over all body/style. Will hold off as the test mule really does not look good. The pictures of the blue A25 look better of course than the mules, but still leave me lacking. Looking forward to see what the inside looks like.
  11. Sweet car, that is freakin amazing for such an old car. I love the variety of styles and the dash is really cool.
  12. Awesome Job Cort, The new job is around the corner, Your looking freakin amazing. Keep up the good work.
  13. I think Hyundia will eventually pass most Japan auto makers due to their own downfall. This downfall is that they spread out in trying to be everything to everyone. Honda, makes Boat motors and cars and generators, they seem to have such a diverse portfolio I wonder if they really are top in their game for anything? I admit I had a 10HP Honda 4 stroke motor for my small 16 foot aluminum boat and it was an freakin amazing engine. Yet how does that help with their cars? I just think they japanease have lost their way with branching into far too many areas. The Honda dealership by my house not only sells the auto's, they have a small section to sell generators, boat motors, lawn mowers, etc. I wonder if people really like it or feel it is weird?
  14. Sunday Dinner is a requirement in my house hold. This is the one day my daughter an son have to be home. If not the wife wll kick their butts. Sunday is also the day for cooking and prepping enough healthy food for reheating during the busy work week for lunch and quick dinners. Ocn, love the dinner. Love Ham and Mac-n-Cheese. My take on that same dinner is as follows: Grilled Ham steak coated with home made Spicey Bar-B-Que sauce. Mac and Cheese, Noodles cooked and set aside, Cheese sauce is a mix of Chedder and Gouda with Diced Jalopeno and cayenne pepper. Melted down and then mixed into noodles, Back for about 30 min, then top with Panko Bread crubs for another 15 min to build a crust. Souply center, crunch topping, Spicy Yummyness Truffles and Red wine for Dessert. Yes, Sunday dinner is a must. Course if your work schedule makes it for a monday/tuesday weekend or what ever days end up being your weekend. Then you Must always take one day out to make it the sit down and enjoy a good meal. Kudo's to Sunday Dinners.
  15. I have to go with Exiting the US market. The dealership where my son bought his Jeep says most people will not bother even looking at the Susuki cars. The sales people says the dealership stopped taking cars and pretty much they are working to sell off the 30+ new cars treating them like they did when they had their Saturn Dealership. Sell them cheap and exit out. The best media I had heard on the cars was the C&D drive over eastern europe to Alaska and down to LA. Yet Susuki failed to capitalize on this for selling more cars. I have lately heard from the Susuki Motor cycle dealership which also sells Yamaha and services my wave runners that the motor cycle side is no different than the car side and how people seem to just be waiting out the eventual death\exit from US markets. Doing a search on sales for other Susuki products does not grab much growth either. I wonder if they are just focusing on exiting the business over all world wide or if they just so lost their focus and way that they will pull back to the mother land and regrow slowly.
  16. Cheers, This is a sweet ride with awesome Tail Fins, So would be fun to restore it to splendor.
  17. I am totally excited to see what Chevy has up their sleeves on this. I think it will be a big hit.
  18. Usually I would say who cares on this model line, but due to the condition, the miles and the winning factor of being a Convertible, it is a Jeers. This is truly a beautiful car. Nice Job on keeping it as a collectors. I do only think he will get about half the price he is asking.
  19. I questions the miles as the look of the engine bay and the interior floors would imply more miles than the odometer really shows. Remember, it was very easy to take a drilland turn back an odometer. Cheers as it still is a very clean car for the age.
