  1. 1946 Aero Packard Flyer “Dream Rod” with 2000Hp 41-liter Engine http://autoworld.wor...e-photos-video/ That is freaking awesome Amazing that the noise level goes down as the engine warms up with those open heads.
  2. Well, yeah. It'll be Zeta, everyone knows that. I know I'm dreaming here, but I think it would be nice if a few styling elements below the SS Concept's beltline made it onto whatever comes out next year. My worst fear, which will undoubtedly be confirmed, is that it'll look like those Autoblog renderings that hit the web a few days ago. The Holden Caprice/Chevrolet Caprice has the appropriate roofline and glasshouse to keep those elements of the concept car intact while improving headroom (not that anyone should be pointing out how the SS Concept didn't have any headroom anyway). I think you hit it on the head. The beltline styling elements and a few others I really hope are incorporated into the new SS Performance for the Holden Caprice. This would give you one sweet looking ride with room for all.
  3. Yes I thought of it, but while it is a lovely design and a drivers car maybe, the rear head room looks to be terrible. I do not see this as the actual car. Hyper why not have CNG since they all ready do it down there?
  4. And yet, the CTS still has a plasticy interior, and Cadillac can't manage to get any sales in Europe. And Cadillac is still drifing around 5th place in sales in their home market. If Mercedes is so flawed, it should be easy for Cadillac pass them by and make a $100k car that sells 75,000 units globally per year, and get 500k sales out of the CTS and ATS. It would be easy but people are hung up on a name and GM still has to overcome 20+ years of Consumer reports and news bashing them even when they did not deserve it. No they still get no respectible press.
  5. SWEET Blow Up!!! Wonder if the builder will cover it under warranty? We should all work here!!! Love it!!!
  6. Rage against the Machine. It has been that kind of Day. Started off with Welcome to the Jungle as it has been that kind of week getting ready for EMC World 2012 May 21st to 24th.
  7. Freakin stuppid Smart Car at lunch today in Seattle. The Drivers of those cars are the worst for driving them freain slow.
  8. Since last summer? More like 3 years ago. Ever since we had the wet winter that led to a 7 acre lake in the backyard... then drought, warm fall, giant snowstorm, a slight return to normality, cool summer, Hurricane Irene, warm winter, drought, hot spring. Mid-Atlantic has been nuts lately. I'm not longer surprised by anything. Come on ya gotta blame it on the mob! Hell has no rath like a nocked off informant! Plus we can blame our friendly politician again for Climate change on top of the Mob!
  9. This is a car I am actually excited about and fully expect to help push the cost of this technology down as to be able to go into far more versions of auto's. Then we can see another large jumpin fuel efficiency and reduced oil consumption.
  10. Ted, Loe the Elky SS you captured and as for the yellow ricer, my Trailblazer SS would eat it up.
  11. Olds, get a goat, they are light and never need refueling.
  12. Guess that Global Warming, Ummmm climate change, deep freeze, hell’s furry is happening on the east coast. Must be due to all the ghosts of the dead coming back to haunt the family hits! J NJ must be really haunted.
  13. Too Funny, Seems auto companies always come up with a car name that can be used n stand up comedy. After all once that warranty expires it just might go kuBANG!!!
  14. Sad what excess money will do to people. To buy and throw away after a year or when they are bored with the car.
  15. Pretty freakin impressive, never thought of tractor plowing races. I searched for the case as I really wanted to see the run over but did not find it. I would love to see the video if anyone finds it.
  16. If they are dedicated CNG vehicles, I would imagine their value will be inversely related to the time left on the tanks. Check the notice on the fuel filler door. 1998-on tanks are good for 20 years. 2007-on tanks are good for 25 years. Thanks, that is some good info. I will take a look at the tanks.
  17. I love this refresh. The diesel is freaking amazing. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT is the Supercharged engine. That will be an ugly engine for them I think. They do not state if premium will be required, but I would think so. Overall a good start to their new engine line up.
  18. Very Good, All CEO's should have a bull pin of possible candidates that can carry on and grow the business with little disruption. This is good as long as these candidates realize the importance of growing the business and not stiffling it.
  19. LP's are like Tube Amps. I still do not hear or see a difference of why some say tubes are better than digital. Then again, maybe my hearing is going to the dogs.
  20. I think this will be the 4 door Austrailia export that will be our SS, hopefully with CNG and Gas. Dual fuel and killer performance.
