Volvo News: Volvo May Export Vehicles From China To The U.S.
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Volvo
Private car services will love a long wheel base auto and I am sure limo companies will use them as corporate cars. I also believed that the Long Wheel based Cadillac would find a market here but when you have a dealership / auto company on deaths door, this is not the right answer. I agree with you Drew.- 7 replies

We'll GM will be out of the spot light soon as FCA and Ford and who knows who will be next will move into the spot light just so the different Departments and the House and Senate Idiots can justify their jobs since they are getting nothing done. I so hope this fall every established member of the house and senate looses. We need to clean out the lead in DC!

I like balthazar sleep like a stone. With Sleep Apnea and Narcoleptic I get at most 3-4hrs of sleep a night. usually 1-2 5 min power naps during the day. Since I do not dream I never miss anything. Like many have stated, once I start thinking about work or projects I am pretty much lost to being up. I will say that working out daily keeps me going strong and able to recover fast in my 3-4hrs of sleep a night.

Go to the following web sites and put in your zip code and it will show you all available CNG stations and their current prices. http://www.cngprices.com/station_map.php Then you can enjoy more HP and Torque on 130 Octane Fuel. Zoom Zoom!

Always cool to get updated information. I am very excited for these trucks. Just wish it was a true mini and they would get a decent engine with more torque than the HP. Trucks are for work, they do not need a ricer type HP heavy engine with little torque. They need it the other way around with more Torque and equal or less torque.

Convert to CNG, your pocket will love you and Earth will love you for not blowing out the green house gas from the Tesla Battery production.

Love the body on the new full size SUV's but love the older nose on the chevy more than the new nose. Mazda 6 I have to disagree with everyone, very ugly car with a big nose on it.

G. David Felt Alternative Fuels & Propulsion writer www.CheersandGears.com Top 10 Most Stolen Autos Some might consider it an honor, others a sad statement of the times. No matter how you look at it, it is amazing that in a short 12 months from the last report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) that we have gone from a top 10 list of most common stolen cars to SUVs. REPORT HERE Top 10 List of stolen autos #1 Ford Escape #2 Ford Edge #3 Ford Explorer #4 Jeep Grand Cherokee #5 Kia Sorrento #6 Chevrolet Traverse #7 Nissan Rogue #8 Honda CR-V #9 Toyota RAV4 #10 Chevrolet Equinox Compact SUVs were stolen twice as often as full-size SUVs according to the study finds. The most popular state for SUV thefts was California, followed by Florida, Michigan, Texas and New York. So are the thefts driven by what is popular to buyers or is there another reason behind this change in stealing tastes? In years past ease of breaking into an auto and hot wiring it was sited as the reason for the auto's being stolen. With today's technology, this has changed and forced thief's to become more tech savvy. Interesting enough is that the most popular unrecovered SUV is the Jeep wrangler. Five states actually had all stolen autos recovered. Seems the south is far more popular than the north for stealing. If you are interested in more details than just the basic report on the link above, you can get the following information from these links. Thefts by State report here Data Analytic report here Insurance Loss Information from the National Institute for Highway Safety Top 10 Most Stolen Luxury Autos #1 Mercedes Benz C Class #2 BMW 3 series #3 Infiniti G series #4 Mercedes Benz E Class #5 Cadillac CTS #6 BMW 5 series #7 Lincoln MKZ #8 Acura TSX #9 Lexus IS #10 Mercedes Benz S Class Data Analytics report here Top three states were New York, California and Florida for having these autos stolen. The Infiniti G Series is the most unrecovered auto.

Glad to hear it is just a sore back DF. Sorry to hear about your car, sucks as our beloved rides get older, the insurance companies want to just throw them away and move on. Good Luck with getting her back on the road.

Gret write up, very informative. I will add that I had the chance to drive a coworkers QX70 and for 6'6" tall I am able to sit in the car slightly reclined. The car is awesome to drive, responsive and has like my Trailblazer SS AWD a nice exhaust note. With that said, no one can sit behind me at all and I could never sit in the back due to the coupe roof like just no space for tall people or leg room. A nice luxury driving machine for two people who want room to carry stuff. Would love to see how this does against like vehicles from a performance stand point. Quirky AWD Performance CUV's. What other ones are there?

This makes one wonder if the CEO has decided to attack every little thing and get over the issues even the smallest so they can move forward with bullet proof line of auto's. At least I am hoping this is the thinking.

Alfa Romeo 4C Gets A Pricetag For The U.S. :Comments
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Alfa Romeo
Most people in Italy cannot even afford what this car will cost.Alpha should die, bad reputation and just use the body on a Chrysler auto. -
You have to watch out where you go in NJ just like Oregon. Both states passed laws saying it was too dangerous for you to pump your own gas and have others pump it for you. Sadly you get idiots that spill on the side of the car, do not really fill up your tank and just about worst service ever. It is pathetic that the politicians of those states think they are smarter than the average person and must protect you from fueling.and Oregon is extreme conservative and last time I was in NJ a couple years ago it was crazy liberal. so just proves both sides are nuts. Like a gun, hands off fueling my ride!

Agree, those donut wheels could be part of the extra squishy ride you get above 25 mph. They could go with a bigger rim and less side wall and have a better ride on top of increasing the size. I am sure the size had something to do with meeting a certain MPG.

Alfa Romeo 4C Gets A Pricetag For The U.S. :Comments
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Alfa Romeo
This will get a select group excited and sell these models, but with their history of poor reliability, they will not be able to grow this name at all. DOA, they need to merge Alfa, Maserati and Ferrari into one product line. -
Costco has Premium at $3.91 per gallon and the average for gas stations is $4.49 per gallon for Premium. Crazy prices as to why I am converting my Suburban that was built up and uses premium to run on CNG. Better all the way around.

That is why they just need to kill off the Fiat name and move those eco cars into Chrysler as the entry level and then build a high end car for the name. Ram is more than just 1 pickup as you have from standard cab to crew cab same with the van line so they are fine. Dodge is the performance line now so with Viper, Challanger, Charger and Dart SRT, I actually think this is a smart move for Dodge. Jeep is solid and fine. Their Ubber luxury is where they need to merge and combine under one roof with one under pinning to reduce cost, increase profits. At the current rate they are going, I expect FCA to either have to sell off a model line or two or declare bankruptcy in 5-7 years. If they do not change the way they handle the brands they will loose just like MB did and any other auto company that does not consolidate and standardize platforms.
