  1. WOW, Guess this is total loss of car, good thing she was able to get down below the top of the dash, that is the only way I can imagen she survived, getting down low.
  2. SWEET, Nice going and thanks for posting the link.
  3. Bootylicious
  4. Very Understanding, thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I have always wondered why people think or feel this way. In seattle with very little snow, when we do get it, the hill's here become toboggin runs and as You Tube has shown we bounce off everything. Course for those of use that are die hard skiing buffs, AWD is the only way to go for winter driving and for the amount of water we seem to always have laying around. Good luck with your Terrain, I love the style, fit and finish. I suspect I will have to some day break down, buy one and build my own Typhoon Edition especially now with the upcoming New DI v6 going in. It would be mad fun to have a Metallic Black Terrain, with Black chrome to replace regular chrome and then use cold air induction with turbo's to really spool up the car, but I want it in AWD. Black out windows and have the leather seats stiched with a typhoon name. Will admit, once you go awd, it is hard to go back to just RWD. But RW in winter does increase your driving skills for handling skids, vehicle control loss. Practical but usable like my 2008 Trailblazer SS. Or IMO usable.
  5. Cons
  6. Cool, I would be happy to have an RT AWD with these features on it.
  7. Yup it does seem that the Forum Garage link he posted above is broken.
  8. Hyperv6, one question for you, why not get AWD?
  9. Wy to go, that is a sweet ride.

  11. I wonder if you have a confused HVAC soleniod. From what I have found with BING, this seems to be an issue with the Impala's on batery change, you need to denergize the electrical by swiping the battery cable over the post before hooking up. Seems to confuse them. You can pull the neg and swip it to deenergize the electrical system and see if it fixed the Soleniod. Good luck.
  12. WOW, Thanks Cubical, that is pretty cool, reminds me of my days collecing Matchbox cars in the 70's. Course if I knew the value they would have become, I would never have given them to my nephew who destroyed them all. They were in mint condition as I never did like scratching them up or playing hard with them. Cool Hobby,
  13. I could so easily say WHY WHY WHY, but then with Fuel Economy, this becomes self answering. Gotta make the numbers if you plan to play in the US and Europe now. Still silly for this kind of car to have that. Course hopefully they will give it a better body look as it is currently ugly to me.
  14. Where are these small auto's coming from? Are they like matchbox cars or something that is made and released by the OEM builders?
  15. This would be the time for GM to cut bait and run. Use it to unload a ton of bad UNION privilages and focus on the global Chevy\Buick\Cadillac. Or outside of the US/China just go with Chevy as the entry to mid lux brand and Cadillac as the luxury brand. Time I think to close the Opel\Voxhall to history books much like many other auto companies. I think this would allow GM to shed a large amount of over capacity and clean up old debt and union dues and move forward with a global streamlined auto plan. This is way over due and about time for a proper shake out of all auto companies.
  16. I'm 6'3" and fit in my Forester (which has a sunroof) with plenty of headroom to spare. I also don't have to move the seat all the way back, it has plenty of travel to spare and leaves plenty of room behind me. That is very surprising as so far every Forester and pretty much every Subaru I have sat in, to get it to fit me at 6'6" tall no one can sit behind me and I am unable to sit upright as I have to have the chair partially reclined. Be interesting to see if this whole downsizing thing continues as they will pigin hole more people into select models as they give up on having full size vehicles.

  18. YAWNNNNN, This company has legendary AWD and will have a solid following for some time, but they consider to downsize the vehicles and nothing they have fits a 6' tall or taller man comfortable. But then the average size of people I guess will keep them alive. Just wish they could actually build some excitement into their cars other than the WRX/STI.
  19. Driving around Kirkland this weekend, I saw 2 or 3 of these being test driven and have to say they are still BUTT UGLY!!! They are narrow, very tall cars with their donut tires and going around a corner I noticed considerable body roll. They look cheap and the people driving them look uncomfortable in the cramped interior. Not impressed and in regards to their Styling, they need to wake up and find someone that understand the definition as I do not read or hear positive things about the little car. The local Seattle times review was not at all positive about the car.
