  1. We'll I wonder if it will really be a hatchback or is that just part of their cladding to cover up the true design of the car? Yes you can tell it is a maerati but they did a good job of covering what the body will look like.
  2. Honestly if they are worried about a feaking day jinx their product, then they do not have much faith in the quality of the product. April 1st is a sunday what moron releases a new product on a sunday. If they wanted to do this rightl, they should have it on Friday March 30th to drive people into the show room over the weekend. Clearly someone was not thinking with their big head in Marketing.
  3. WOW, Is this a rip off of the ugly Toyota CUV or What!!! Improved over the older jelly bean design, but lets find some freakin originality please rather than just duplicating what has already been done. Sad way for the Koreans to go.
  4. JEERS As much as I love these trucks, the 5.3 was the wrong engine to put in this truck from the start. The later models with the 6.0 V8 would be worth the other issue with this truck. PRICE, they are asking is way too high. Love the color.
  5. CHEERS, This is a sweet ride and collectors if you have the spare cash.
  6. Check out the GM anoucement thread on CNG trucks, I posted a number of link on places you could buy parts to build your own CNG ride. Good luck.
  7. Yes, I would believe it would. I used to work back in the late 70's for a pizza chain here called Pizza Haven and they did all deliveries in Propane powered chevy trucks. It was awesome.
  8. YES, Please upload PICS Need to see the New Stuff!!!
  9. Sweet rie, I have to agree that Chrome on the dash is a crazy thing with the reflection issue. I wonder if it would make sense to send off some of your special JAG oil for testing and review t find out what it really is. You just might find out it is Mobil 1 Synthetic or AMSOIL. Love to sees some pics of your ride, sounds very nice.
  10. Interesting, this will clearly gain traction now that GM is offering vehicles to sell that are CNG. I wonder why the dealerships are not willing to sell a self fueling CNG install for your home. When one looks at the Natural Gas infastructure, you see millions of homes with Natural Gas. It only makes sense to offer CNG kits for the house just like Recharge kits. About time we use a natural resource where we actually lead the world in amount available in the ground.
  11. Yea I really did not get the full grasp between the three either and in looking up online, there are many ways of this being explained but did find this site that seems to have one of the best explanations on this and it toally syncs with what diwightlooi mentions above. Check it out: http://www.epi-eng.com/piston_engine_technology/power_and_torque.htm Rock on Torque!!!
  12. Stickyness
  13. I totally agree, you should send the CEO a note on this. Yea he might have thought of ths also, but my gut tells me he was hoping for pulling the wool over the eyes of the GOV and taking the money and running. They can complain all they want but informed people see just how shady this deal is for the GOV/Tax payer.
  14. Very True, I can see the title now: Centurian ticketed for doing a Century speed in a Buick Centruy!!! Very interesting indeed.
  15. Rock on Man You Deserve it!!! This is cool that the guy can truly still keep it going.
  16. Kirkland Washington Police Department has half of their car fleet on LP.
  17. MOPAR
  18. Walked by the Seattle FireDepartment Museum and they had pulled out to do some work a 1928 Fire Engine. Had to get in so could not stop to see who the make was, but wow have we come a long way since those fire engines.
  19. Welcome Bill, we look forward to your input into our lovely world of Auto Debate!
  20. Love his car, I would buy it in a heartbeat if I had the money.
  21. While the police car prototype showed allot of promise, All the interviews and answers from the talking heads for this company were vague at best. Yes I laugh abot the ov looking out for the tax payer. This is more that in a politically charged election year, many are covering their arse to make sure they have jobs next year. I also though do challange their business plan which they have never really revealed in much detail even the places that want to order their cars. This makes me hesitate about wanting to sink money into this car. GM should consider partnering with them to build this car or some other auto company. I bet they could make a good profit on these cars. Nice Police car, they should work harder to find a way to build it.
  22. Nice to see they are doing it for the Durango next year. My daughter while looking to replace her durango will not be ready till next summer or fall to do this, so she should be able to get one with the 8 speed tranny. SWEETNESS
  23. While this might not be a home run hit that some wanted, this Turbo and size will meet many families needs. I for on would never consider this car as once I get in the front seat, no one can sit behind me. The shortness they did and tight rear will make it a challange for anyone 6' tall or taller. Excited by the high output and the great gas mileage.
  24. Very cool, Thank you Balthazar for the info.
  25. Alfa has not had a very solid reputation for quality. They seem to always have done things in a haphazard way and while they have come up with some very interesting designs for their cars, I have yet to see true quality management, planning and quality of product out of them. I have to wonder the same if they are being repositioned or even being looked at as more of a niche player.
