  1. Very cool, Thank you Balthazar for the info.
  2. Alfa has not had a very solid reputation for quality. They seem to always have done things in a haphazard way and while they have come up with some very interesting designs for their cars, I have yet to see true quality management, planning and quality of product out of them. I have to wonder the same if they are being repositioned or even being looked at as more of a niche player.
  3. Just think, with a CNG kit in your garage and the average US price being $10 per thousand cubic feet, fueling up your auto finally gets cheap again. CNG stations are averaging $1.89 a gallon here in Seattle. Vancouer BC is averaging .75 a liter. This is the way to go. Check your area! http://www.cngprices.com/index.php Whoooooooooo Just found this company with kits. http://www.gonaturalcng.com/

  5. I bet he finds it in the early to mid half of 2013.
  6. Precisely what they should have done ages ago. Better late than never. Me likey! I agree this is the right thing to do. Think about the people who would be more willing to purchase a vehicle when they get an instant 10K rebate. Do this along with GM's new CNG trucks and SUV's and sell those auto's with a CNG filling kit for your Garage at home. Just fill up your auto with Natural Gas and go. This could easily build up the infastructure for alternative fuel fast.

  8. While I do hate to add to our national debt. I think some sort of gov incentive program will have to be done like this to get society to move over to cleaner alternative technology. I for one love the CNG option or even an LP option.
  9. Looking at the pictures on MSN Auto's of the ubber rich new cars, I realize why I love this car so much as they have an amazing shot from the right front Passanger corner of the car and SPEED RACER and the MACH 5 Jumped into my mind. This is a modern REAL version of the MACH 5. I grew up loving that cartoon and all the cool things the car could do. ROCK ON SPEED RACER In Lambo Form!
  10. Balthazar, I see lots of references to L37 of the same Oldsmobile that supposedly got 40 miles to the gallon. http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z9800/Oldsmobile-L-37-Eight.aspx
  11. Sounds Nice, where are the pics?
  12. Jeers in todays economic climate. Not going to waste any more time as it is the wrong type of car for that lovely motor.
  13. UGH, while helping my son buy his first new Jeep, I took a look at the new 200 they have on the lots and all I can say is while the fit and finish is way better than the old Sebring it replaced, it is very boring and just Ugh, does nothing for me.
  14. I totally agree with you, yet I think the bigger issue is you have a socialist group of counteries that make it 100 times harder to let people go and close down and get rid of excess. This tends to make it very hard to lean out when you have over capacity. Europe is going to have to take some hard pains in loss of debt owed, jobs and life style expectations just as have millions in the US. I have nothing against making money based on hard work, but some of our CEO's like the one at Occidental Oil who had the board pay him 372 million over the last 3 years for sub par performance and being the worst performing but still profitable oil company is just ripping off the stock holders. This is one extreme going in one direction and then you have the socialist Unions of Europe who feel companies HAVE TO provide jobs to everyone and never end. We need enough oversight to balance out and keep companies profitable and competative yet balanced for everyone.
  15. New Edge or Explorer, not sure from my 6th floor window, but can tell it is new with that temp license on the rear window. Boy are they just generic looking. nothing to write home about.
  16. Ugly car with a who cares drive line. If they really want to make people stand up and go wow an drool as they sign over money, they should have done more.
  17. Maserati has never really impressed me as a car, the Quattroporte was cool but never really made me want to say buy it. To me this is a company that could go away into the history books and not really be missed. Or am I missing something bigger that this car division has to offer the world?
  18. I have to finish that article about how irrelevant horsepower ratings are anymore Say it is not true, Horsepower and Torque are always relevant.
  19. Very Cool, wish they did a Corvair with a LP power system. Like CNG, I think the market has missed how good and clean auto's running on LP can be in addition to getting us off oil.
  20. Not sure on the year, but at the Lynnwood washington park and ride lot this morning was Volvo XC90 that had a silver paint job, but the nose, lower 1/3 of all side panels and from bummer down on the back wa all Linux Sprayed. Talk about making sure you do not rust or scratch. Was interesting at the same time as being a bit weird. Be glad you have not seen it, it is enough to make you want to
  21. But didn't ya know, the new GS has interesting new technology, such as blind spot monitoring, as featured on the 2007 Buick Lucerne, heads up display as on the 1992 Pontiac Bonneville, 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, and night vision as featured first on the 2000 Cadillac Deville and later on the 2002 Lexus LX. Want to know how I know? The Lexus commercial that keeps running over and over touting all of the new technology that the new GS has and how much more technologically advanced the car is because of these things. sorry for the rant, but that commercial gets on my nerves so much that I'm 'bout ready to write an article blasting them for it and then tweet the hell out of it so maybe they will pull it. I agree you should write it and tweet it, I have gotten to the point of pressing the mute button each time that bloody commercial starts.
  22. The thumbscrews are starting to turn on the unions to get a reduction in cost.
  23. The fact that every auto maker goes through good quality and bad quality, if you have the money, then you will end up following the quality. I think this is more common with those in the earnings of $150,000 to $1,000,000 crowd.
  24. Cheers for the amazing old car! Cheers for the bottle top opener grill Cheers for even attempting to try and get that 40 MPG Over all what is NOT to LIKE about this beauty.
