  2. Thank you,
  3. This is stupid, I only look at Chevy for the Corvette and the returning Camero. In regards to trucks, I only drive and buy GMC trucks, I like the looks and style inside and out way better than Chevy. Plus as others have stated here, Chevy is just your basic entry brand like Toyota and while I am in the upper middle income bracket, I prefer to drive an american brand that has a higher luxury level than plane Jane Chevy or Ford or Dodge. Pretty much my auto's speak for me. 1991 GMC Suburban 1999 GMC 1500 2004 CTS 2005 SRX 2006 Escalade ESV Platinum 2006 Hummer H2 With Hummer up in the air and if they kill Profitable GMC, then that leaves me with Cadillac as my only Luxury choice and they will have to add other options of truck styles then as Chevy will not be able to sell or gain the mid level luxury that GMC has. Key is focus on the Chevy - BPG - Cadillac 3 step approach and maximize the name brands.

  5. Thanks for the post, very intersting info.
  6. :sign0200: Way to goo, I hope it all works out for you, that would be an awesome engine in your car.
  7. Considering this pic is almost 10 years old, they all were luxury cars back then when new. FYI that is a Jeep Grand Cherokee not a GMC/Chevy.

  9. So you see them in Bankruptcy proceedings by next month?
  10. Water, Weird not sure how it posted twice as I pushed the mouse button once. Weird.
  11. QUOTE (Northstar @ Apr 15 2009, 01:04 PM) Why not just make Pontiac GM's Porsche? Not in price, but product. Solstice, Solstice coupe vs. Cayman and Boxster. GTO/whatever vs. 911. G8 vs. Panamera Screw volume products, that's Chevy's job. +100 I would totally agree with this as being the part of BPG in the mid level of car sales.

  13. The auto task force would be STUPID if they did not Approve this. Anyone with a business sense and commen sense can tell this would sell well and help revive the fortunes of this company.
  14. My first Post of a Pic of me, very rare as I usually am the one taking the pics. I was at a very nice Winery in Virgina last year when I was out there on Business.
  15. I still feel that people would be safer in my 1994 Suburban than in many 2009 Model cars. Here is a perfect reason why I will never leave big vehicles. This poor person, yes that is his foot is dead after being hit by this GM Kodiak.
  16. Why waste time talking about an auto that is just plain WRONG for this Auto Line. The word has more EXCITEMENT!!! than the car!
  17. Interesting theory, but would never work as all other counteries would retaliate in same and you end up with protectionism that will lead to world wide economic decline. Better to keep free trade and force the American companies to start thinking long term with quality products and then you gain market growth.
  18. At this Point I expect Chrysler to go into Bankrupcty, there are many reports out today that the people who hold the Billions in debt want it for both GM and Chrysler as it will give them huge write off's that can be spread over the next few years to off set profits as the economy comes back. On that note, I suspect we will see a vastly differant company emerge if they do at all. End play could be we see Dodge sold off to on out of country company that wants in on the truck business and recovery and Jeep sold to someone who wants a solid 4x4 business and chrysler becomes a history lesson. Sad, but the end result of greed and stupidity by upper mgmt and Unions. The unions will be crying foul, Canada has alrady said they will cover the union pensions. Another burden on the tax payers there. I suspect like the US did for the over paid airline unions we the tax payers will get stuck with their Union pensions also. Hopefully if that does happen they keep it the same as they did to the airlines and that is they will only honor 75% of the persons monthly income and NO benefits, meaning they have to come up with their own insurance just like the rest of us who only have 401K programs. Going to be an interesting year in the Auto Business.
  19. Post your pictures of the worst winter damage you have ever seen to an auto!
  20. Post your sweetest rides or power point shows of sweet rides. Sweet Rides Pterry amazing rides.
  21. So true, they should be focused on the mid level market not competeing with their entry level cousins. Idiots need to wake up and GM needs to smack them with stupidity and call them that as they are not doing their job in the mid market.
  22. Actually this is not bad looking. not what I would buy but not bad looking.
