  1. Was lovely nice 37 degrees in Seattle for April 1st and I went skiing where we got 6 inches over night and 12 inches during the day. It was a Freaking Powderlicous Day on the slows. Just POW POW POUNDING. I am a bit stiff as I just tore up the mountain with all the power skiing, it was beautiful. They just anounced that due to our cool weather, the ski season has been extended now to May. If we stay cool they will keep extending it. We skiied all the way till July last year. Maybe the same this year. SKI SKI SKI, Keep it cool and snowy baby!!!

  3. I wouldn't call it 'badge engineering'...more like platform sharing...same as with other A-bodies from '64 on... these had Buick engines, specific interiors, probably no exterior panels shared except for the greenhouse.. But when I look at the front, I really see cadillac before I see the emblem of what product line it is supposed to be. This is sad as it really should be individual to keep it seperate from another brand.
  4. Truly has some style for such an olde but a goodie. CHEERS!!!
  5. Looking at the CarFax it raises a bunch of questions. I really question the miles, it clearly was licensed and was let dropped a few times and seems to have gone through the last couple owners fast. I wonder if the miles truley are low, is it a lemon with electrical problems or was it wrecked and got it's title washed. Seems to have gone some far distanced from each owner to the next. I do love these SUV's and would be happy to have one, but it would need some serious work. The interior and Engine bay just show far more aging and wear and tear than I would expect for the low miles of someone keeping it for an investment.
  6. Now it looks like a freakin mini van in this picture.
  7. Nice clean car, but way over priced and I agree with the earlier post, why not drive it.
  8. Cheers for a clean old car, but otherwise, to bad it is just badge engineering.
  9. Boy just think, you havethis big roof open and a rain squal comes in and the electrical fails on the motors and you end up wth a tub o water.
  10. While the concept might sound coo to be able to switch between FWD, RWD and AWD. But does anyone really need that? The Electric scooters are very Funky. Guess you can always drive to where your kids are at and then give them one to get home? Over all I do not car for the inside and for the most part am not feeling this!
  11. Yawn, the pictures just do nothing for me. Not sure why but for me this car just does not get me excited. Nothing to rev the auto blood.
  12. WOW, I cannot believe one this clean is still around and running.
  13. WOW, a car with that amount of miles on the east coast with no rust. Freakin amazing.
  14. I either have to hold onto my old cars for long time or they hella better have auto's for the minority of us that love to drive the hell out of them. Sadly, I can see as Cubical has stated, lots of idiots playing fake live in their cars.
  15. While nice and clean for the age, I do question the milage. Nice to have small 2 door SUV's.
  16. Yea that is allot of glass, but the opening just seems small in comparison to the amount of glass, I expected it to open much bigger.

  18. What you do not want Debbie Does Dallas playing while you drive?
  19. No when ever someone replied to one of my post, I could hover over the notifications and it would pop open and I would then right mouse click to open it in a new tab. It does not do that now. I also tried responding to a post in the new Teaser thread on the Dodge trucks and it errors out saying you cannot use the smiley faces that had been previously used. But when I went to the forum and list new and then replied I could reply to it with no problem compared to replying to the thread from the home page.
  20. In retrospec I would have to agree that his Chrome Monster is to compete with the Denali. BLING XD BLING XD BLING XD
  21. This is good to read, I have been worried that Jeep will get dumbed down to stupid FWD/AWD CUV and not be real off road Jeeps.
  22. I think what MB could not get with the Chrysler purchase they are finally doing in house and we will see a wide range of Econo Sub compact to luxury S series. I wonder how it will play out in the US. The rest of the world is used to having chevy versions of MB plus their high end luxury. Will be an interesting next couple of years for MB.
  23. Not a huge fan but I do have to say what I see is nice and I like the way they incorporated certain things like the rear door handle.
  24. hyperv6 I would agree with you on the alignment of GM's vehicles to better compete with what is out there rather than being in an ackward mid spot. I do not think they actually have to change size as much as just market it to let people know what they are competing against. In regards to the Suburban, I think both 1/2 and 3/4 ton versions can survive, but we will have to push the use of Lightweigth High strength steel and composites. Plus I think you could better use the Hybrid technology in the Tahoe by putting it into a Suburban. Over all, They could realy extend the life and have a LARGE pick up in sales if thy gave us our 4.8 L Duramax with 6 speed Allison tranny in a Suburban. Ton's of people who pull RV's, horse trailers, etc would love to get a new Suburban with a diesel.
