My 2006 Escalade has an arrow on both mirrors which is part of the turn signal and I noticed in newer versions they have the turn signal plus blind spot indicator. Maybe your right that it could be the blind spot since there is the yellow spot on the edge of the mirror that would function as turn indicator.

Very cool, that rocks that they save it. Not a fan of the body style, but cool concept nonetheless.

Nice quad exhaust throw the rear bumper. Makes me remember the older custom coach cars where the driver had no roof but the important passenger was in a enclosed protective bubble. Or maybe it was ahead of it's time with a early version of the T Tops that GM put on the Monte Carlo SS and other sporty rides.

@oldshurst442 Or it could be that the audience of interest over a rebadge Mazda as a Fiat is so small now that most go Meh! and Move onto other interesting autos that actually have more use and purpose in life. Give it another 20 years and then sport coupes as an EV might come back into fashion, right now you know it is all about the CUV / Truck baby!

New Malibu - not once, but twice - review

WOW, They actually have Safari Fruits music!

That reminds me of all the generic looking minimalist icons that Google and Apple have put into their software that just makes me think, WTF is that supposed to represent? They could not do an arrow if it is a left turn indicator? Maybe a star rising? Sad that Chevy has taken a cheap ass way of doing whatever it is supposed to represent.

What do you expect from a Fruit company that goes on Safari!

Have you not heard, the 2025 EV only versions from Cadillac will start at $119,995 and go up from there. We are in a new era of accelerated inflation and expectations. Nope, you did not listen to the 2025 plan. All auto's will be EV and select will have a hydrogen generator. 2025 Silverado and Sierra will come in all the normal configurations with a standard EV powertrain, Denali trims will have higher power output software and the Hydrogen Generator compared to lower level trims that are EV only. @ocnblu will be training all the new folks how to repair Carbon fiber beds and body panels.

I have to question the statement of expensive. Having been to the Giant Carbon Fiber plant in Moses Lake Washington and seen how much they produce for Boeing and BMW and the BMW testing site next door. I have to figure in the quantities of production GM would do for all their trucks, that the cost would be on par with Steel or Aluminum production. Agree with @smk4565 that the bed would be crazy strong and you could start by rolling it out on the high end models till production got up to speed to support all models.

Would You Rather a 2017 Chevy Volt or a 1997 Acura Integra
G. David Felt replied to oldshurst442's topic in The Lounge
Amazing the number of Integra's listed on Autotrader. I did a search within 500 miles of me and found two that are actually GSR, unmolested as the pictures show them to be stock, with high miles, 171K and 174K both 2001 models under 4K. Autotrader Search Autotrader GSR Search Only The second search with no limit on distance from me shows 10 matches and if you are willing to pay 6 - 10K can get one from 88K miles on up. One for $2,500 with 370K miles on it, original owner. Amazing they actually drove it that long as it is a 1994. -
Thank you, that is some great info I have learned today. Even, then, I would still pass on a turbo.

Turbo's have not really changed, yes they have improved the material to deal with the heat inside the turbo and in the core engine and created better coolers, but the over all technology has not really changed from the 80's to today. As such, both Turbo and Supercharged motors have a much higher maintenance schedule than most people are used to since the Japanese introduced 100,000 mile tune ups to the world. Due to that, I do wonder how these higher pressure engines will last and as I have stated above, I have seen more and more Modern turbo cars blowing smoke due to the rings being fried. I have to question just how long even today's new Turbo cars will last compared to NA engines.

@oldshurst442 I hear what your saying but I would take this used Porsche over the 124 as I posted in my response above. This baby to me looks better.

I get that point and fair enough in the body size thing and yet I get the attraction to Porsche and if I am going to pay $30,000 or less and want a true road ripping car regardless of where it comes from. I can find plenty of very low mile Porsches here in Washington for $30,000 or less that would be better than the Miata. Autotrader search 1998 Porsche Boxster with 36,611 miles for $12,687 convertible. This is a freakin awesome deal. https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=467544212&zip=98043&referrer=%2Fcars-for-sale%2Fsearchresults.xhtml%3Fzip%3D98043%26startYear%3D1981%26sortBy%3DderivedpriceDESC%26maxPrice%3D30000%26incremental%3Dall%26firstRecord%3D0%26endYear%3D2018%26makeCodeList%3DPOR%26searchRadius%3D25&startYear=1981&numRecords=25&maxPrice=30000&firstRecord=0&endYear=2018&makeCodeList=POR&searchRadius=25&makeCode1=POR&modelCode1=BOXSTE
