    Meh, cool in a small way, but so many other off road capable SUVs to consider. Guess if you're not a trail nut, and younger than 50 this will for sure sell well to those that can afford it.

    Exactly with a terrible history of garbage built autos out of Italy, questionable style, and Meh 4 banger performance. I see nothing to compel people to buy. Wasted billions on Alfa that should have just been left in the history books.

    Have to say that in person, the F-pace is a freaking lovely CUV. Sadly, it fails my Big American test. Even the Jaguar reps were shocked that with the seat all the way back, I just barely had leg room and I could not sit upright the way I like but had to recline the seat. Also only kids could sit behind me. over all lots of people loved it. The two big screen dash and pop up transmission dial selector was nice.

    Sadely base model autos of today do not have the room of my 1994 GMC SLE Suburban I bought new in 93. Plus was easier to upgrade brakes, powertrain and build it the way I like.

    True, but I have seen people buy them, ignor not replacing the airbags and just putting on new face plates and fix the Unibody and panels and it looks good but most of the modern required safety gear is disabled or gone. I get it that it can be a newer auto and cheap but also you take a big risk.

    China has GM by the balls as requiring build amounts in home and requiring certain other models to satisfy the ability to sell there. No open market unlike how the US always did.

    Such stupid executive decisions. Clearly the 8 Series is some idiot executives pet project due to past delusions.

    Plus with China and the European Union demonizing it and pushing EV's and very clean standards, auto companies are going to have to adjust. Diesel has a use and purpose, but in most comon private auto's the day is coming to a close.

    All this week I will be at our Dell EMC World 2017 Tradeshow, last two days settings up. This year we have some auto's at the show. BMW has a booth all about Technology and their showcase piece is the BMW i8. Jaguar has a booth this year, they have the iConcept EV which was not unloaded yet and the F-pace awd. Final is the bad ass truck from Alienware that features their VM setups.

    So True, we are in Sync, now if we can just keep saying this so GM takes notice and does it!

    Price does entice, but then VW has a loyal fan base. This will be a Hiccup for sales of fixed TDIs but I doubt we will see it stay after these discounted units are gone.

    Very True, both trucks were nice, the Ford was a nice build, yet we can clearly see the benefit of AWD getting the power down via 4 wheels over two.

Then you get kicked out for being too healthy. Enjoy your retirement and collect your pension. Then you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day. You work 40+ years until your too young to work. You get ready for High School: Drink alcohol, party, and generally promiscuous. Then you go to primary school, you become a kid, you play, and you have no responsibilities. Then you become a baby, and then... you spend your last 9 months floating peacefully in Spa-like conditions - Central Heating, room service on tap, and then... You finish off as an Orgasm! The Movie "The Curios Case of Benjamin Button" is awesome and is just what this is.

    So very true, I will take German or Japan blades over especially China and Italy. Wish there were American suppliers at the local hardware store. http://www.americansawandproducts.com/ This company does make outstanding blades if you do not mind ordering them online. Take a page out of Fords original play book?

    Much appreciated Drew, while I know the HP # is lower and I tend to ignore it as Torque is much more important, I was surprised that the Torque number was 16 lb-ft less than the old engine. I was hoping to maintain or go higher on torque to really make it scoot especially in AWD mode. Wait and see how people think when it comes out.

    Someone asked me if I thought Tesla was a smart investment. I said no, over priced and I really do not see it as a smart investment for people with limited sources of cash. Yes for the very wealthy, but not the little guy. I truly hope Tesla survives, but I do question if it can.

    Too funny and now that so called Clean TDI from Audi is very dirty due to software cheating. Still awesome commercial.

    Those only go so far. Tesla was awesome when first out, but the style is very dated and bland and Tesla needs to bring some excitement back to the body of the Tesla S. Time for Tesla S to go 2.0 version with a body refresh on top of an interior major update.
