  2. So Chevy has a great page on the ZL1 now. ZL1 Home Page Autoblog did a story on the ZL1 at Nurburg and how it just killed it. Autoblog story Gotta say watching this video make one want to go to a track and drive like hell.
  3. Yup, I would expect the US and Asian models to meet requirements and end up on sales, I think BMW and MB will see a much reduced Diesel offering. The age of Hybrid / EVs are upon us now. After all, you can clearly make up the torque with an electric motor or two. I also expect the usual folks to jump in here and bash the Hybrid / EV comment.
  4. Maybe that is from when they used to smack the Willy on the end to make it bulbous! It could also be taken as a middle ages sex toy! After all the french were sure into kinky things then and now.
  5. H'mmm One wonders if CR is finally acknowledging that America is building good quality rides. Would be nice to see them off their Asian is best everything reporting.
  6. Enjoy your new ride and congrats,
  7. How about just cutting the price so more people will buy rather than take crazy profits and selling less. If they can make a profit with an $11K discount, clearly they need to drop prices.
  8. 1) Car is but ugly. 2) Hate the idea of communal car sharing, most people that do that are nasty dirty and I would never use a car2go or zip as they are just a mess inside. The people clearly car less since it is not really their car. Even with a co-sharing where the other person pays money to share a car, most will see it as a disposable auto. NASTY NASTY NASTY 3) Apps system, great another way for hackers to take over your auto, mess it up or worse, big brother watches you and decides they need to take out someone so they cause you to crash. No Thanks 4) Agree with Ocnblu, worth $25 buck of them paying me to drive this so called auto.
  9. But as a stripper, did she properly move her hips and wiggle her assets like an american can?
  10. Seattle nice balmy 50 degrees today this Saturday Oct 22nd. overcast with sun breaks. Loving it!
  11. Still maybe mid way point for them, but my gut tells me there is plenty more auto's for them to buy back.
  12. Awesome, yup, if you like cool climate, very green, then this is the place to be.
  13. Eventually they will need to just merge, drop a name and streamline their world wide platforms to make profit and efficiency.
  14. Back in Seattle and on the internet. Love the cool weather and drizzle.
  15. Mobil pgone reading sucks, cannot really see enough in the photos. Hopefully, it looks better than what I can see. Not really wow'd by the pictures.
  16. Calling for rain in Austin today, Humidty is off the chart. Any moment it will pour!, packing up and heading to the airport. so glad to fly home to mid 40's and down pour of rain.
  17. Why oh why does Austin Texas Exist? Here working DellEMC World trade show. 8:30pm, 88 degrees and 90% humidity. Talk about sucky, sticky, heat. So glad to fly home tomorrow. Tex mex food is good. El Penole, fajita enchiladas with mexican corn and broccoli's. Grande top shelf margarita plus chips with hot salsa amd guac dip.
  18. Driving a motorcycle is like russian roulette. Why I drive suvs, as much steel around me as possible. I love my bikes, but not willing to risk my life.
  19. It is a luxury brand, so these affluent folks should not have a problem paying the price if they are wanting a luxury off road capable driving machine.
  20. Proof that smaller is not always better. Just look at the emissions. I hope this continues till the Hybrids and EVs take over. After all, bigger is greener!
  21. 1993 - $379 for 1994 GMC SLE Fully loaded Suburban which I still own. Current - none, all are paid off.
  22. This All Terrain wagon could do very well if it is butch enough. They need to give it enough look and capability to make it rock to those that want the wagon over CUV / SUV look.
  23. Great write up, glad to see they are continuing to improve the car line. Now if they could just do something about that face! A face only a Mother could love.
  24. Failure, how does a 1.5L 190HP / 179lbs Turbo engine with less torque become better than their 2.4L 184HP / 180Lbs engine. Sounds like they are just trying to keep sales going by reducing the engine size to meet stupid tax in Europe, Turbo it to make people think they are getting a faster more powerful engine and yet all they got is an engine that probably needs more than 84 octane gas, rev it hard to get it to move and have less gusto. This just sounds bad from the get go. Failure all the way except to the Honda Faithful that will suck up every word and believe and not think twice.
  25. Limited Editions are the same as special editions. They are in limited numbers. Just cause American auto companies do not over use the Special name like the germans, does not mean these are special. All 6 of those are very special editions.
