Well I am sure that is what is happening. Trust me we have been around the block around that. I told him he COULD live at home like I did. I am no worse for the wear. Now about the car... Dave I hope that isn't true that they are so beat up.
-
Nawww if this is true GM is stupid. An SRX would be fine but for the Escalade a BOF 403hp V8 has an appeal to me.
-
The last paragraph is so great. I am laughing my a$$ off.

A little history leason on me, I have a son freshman in college living at home to save money. (It is smart and works for our family.) I have a daughter yet in highschool as a soph she will turn 16 in March. Of course the car-debate will arise, I have bought 3 cars in the past 7 years very unlike me I do buy in spurts, but I think I am stuck getting another one for her or my son. That is a fact I guess, but what to get. My wife said get a Sunfire or Cobalt, I would rather get something larger and older for the same or less money. My son is a Pontiac guy at heart but likes Chevy too. I don't want another Impala from the same generation or a Bonneville. My son likes the 1996-1999 Bonneville SSE/SSEi or 1998-1999 SLE *when they had the SSE body styling* are they good cars? If it is supercharged do you need to put premium in it? Anyone own one or have an experinse with them, I want something in the 4-6K price range with under 100K on the clock. Color is not a big deal no gold or maroon as I already have a vehicles in those colors. I also want something with NO RUST undercoating is a plus, if it is well taken care of and is about or under 100K I would be happy. Can I pick one of these up for that? And am I kidding myself that I can find them priced right with no rust? If you see any amazing deals in the coming months hit me up. Leather and sunroof are nice for him but not a need. Do they have any big problems? Oh and what is the first year they put the 3800 Series II? 1996? Do they have the intake problems other 3800 Series II have? I also approved of the Bonneville put noticed SLE/SSE/SSEi's are hard to find most are SE's which he nor I want, yuck. Have at it and any info is helpful so are nice high quality photos or brochure scans!

But Croc this happend after Palin said it.
-
That is so cool. I liked her before I love her more now.
-
And some of that money went back to the people. I would like to see Obama have the guts to take on the status quo in a state like Alaska.
-
I hardly consider that a common phrase. Every time Obama's media boyz and girlz take a swing at her its more votes for McCain I hope they know that.
-
The Previa was a sorry excuse for a vehicle even a Toyota.
-
Yes he does, it was a clear swing at Palin. He wouldn't have used that term otherwise. He could have said it 100 other ways and it was clear his crowd got it too. McCain is hardly what I would call petty, he is a proud American, served our country, and also his wife has always been proud of her country and actually done good things in the world. As for Michelle no she is just proud of her country now that her hubby is running for prez that shows how petty her family is. Barack is going to say whatever he has to get votes, he'll say one thing in San Fransico and another thing in Dayton. One thing you can say about McCain he is whom he is a the Obama camp is upset his messeage of being a maverick is true so is Palins like taking on big oil. The Obama camp is $h!ting there pants over the new energy and polls and it is was suppose to be a slam dunk for a dem this year. So much for that. Had they picked anyone but Obama they might not be hear but leave it to the dems to screw it up. Obama couldn't run as such a liberal so he has had to come to the middle more and more, weather he really beliefs that stuff remains to be seen. Obama is about futhering his politcal career and the media except for FOX are all in the tank with him. It is disgusting. Hmmmmmmm so you say McCain is petty? And a big baby, it would be closer to other way around. Yeah right. The $h! some of you people believe is so sad. Obama is like the second coming of Christ right?

I hate spanish ads in Amierca.
-
I understand what your saying. I am just too lazy to get the prove my facts. I am sure I could if I wanted to not be lazy. But if I here something most likely on NBC or FOX I use it as a point for discussion and a fact.
-
Camino your post was great and I am so very happy you still have an open mind. Also as far as the Barack Obama vs. John McCain thing one thing we keep forgetting is who has the better looking wife? :AH-HA_wink:
-
I am no more wrong than you. You have a choice this year just like I do, I will make mine and so will you.
-
It is a sweet looking Civic.
-
Obama wants you to fill up your tires and get a tune-up. That kind of attitude won't cut in nor send the right messeage to the oil "Gods". Honestly the wealthly people will actually take a risk with there tax credit and invest in buisness and therefore create jobs for everyone! The rich take the risks that other people don't take and won't. Without them and there investment in this nation we can't keep going on or get out of a rut. Obama taxes plan in like Robin-Hood and that is a problem, and it is not fair. Wait until a loved one dies rich or poor you will have the $h! taxed out of you. Honestly 68 is right you pay tax on your gas and a hell of alot more of it is paid if you drive an H2 vs. a Cobalt the gas guzzler tax just is stupid as 68 said.
-
Thank you 68 you are a very smart guy and your daughters can do anything they want too. It is America after-all! As for the broken system in the last paragraph that is so true we work are balls off and then some lazy a$$ gets my money. It is people like Obama want to make it all the worse. That is yet another reason why I support McCain.
-
Croc I have to agree with Loki on that one.

GM Launches A Fact And Fiction Website

This is sort-of cool but they better make it known that this is OUT THERE! -
Someone has got to make sense around hear. List of reasons why I support McCain. 1. Supports Domestic Drilling. 2. Gives tax cuts across the board. 3. Is pro-life. 4. Wants a secure country and would rather be on the offensive rather than the defensive. 5. Was right on surge so many people were wrong about. 6. Has a record and yes most of the things he has agreed with G.W.B. on have been budget related and he has opposing view points to G.W.B. on many other things, like energy and global warming. 7. Puts the people and the country's interest in front of the media or the typical Washington status-quo. (That is why he had such a hard time firing up his base, but when you look at the alternative it is not a wonder to me why he has.) Those are my top seven reasons. You people amuse me the people that want for most part a RWD GM building performance cars with turbos and 8 cylinders and want to believe it is 1965 all over again and yet you would vote for a man that drives a hybrid, wants nothing to do with domestic product to keep gas prices resonable so we can afford to drive our RWD performance cars not just dream about them. What a croc of $h!. Many of you are good people but this $h! that Obama is the "second coming of Christ is crazy" he is a politcian like all of them our in it for each other some more and some less. Anyone see the Bill O'Reily interview and how he was struggling to come up with answers? Oh dear the screen in front of me is no longer telling me what to say. He is a great speech giver nothing more, and sadly lacks alot of the "guts" it takes to be the leader of our country. If the dems would have ran Hillary I would have had alot more to think about but they made it easy for me. By the way Dodgefan I have no bias I am just looking out for myself and my pocket-book and everyother American rich or poor! Barack also has flip-flopped on taxation and now might not impose such high taxes on the wealthy and that would be a good idea sense they are the ones whom take risks and invest in this county getting us out of hard times and CREATE NEW jobs. By the way my sig is now getting politically just like my yard sign, that went up a week ago.
-
He has been very progessive and has been a maverick.
-
Fact is Barack Obama wants to nothing about oil production, and news flash Obama had a 300C he traded it for a hybrid I forget what kind but I do recall reading it. Also I hardly consider Barack average after going to Havard he is really in touch with people. Don't forget McCain might have had more money growing up but that doesn't make you relate to the average Joe any worse. Honestly from Obama's "regular" begining to his new found political fame guess whom eats him up? Rich, black anti-Americans like Rev. Wright now certainly that is the kind of man I would want to support whom has a wack-job rev. whom hates American and yes that is Baracks base and somehow has moved more mainstream because of ignorant American's and with his guns and religons comment he shows how two faced he his. I want someone with the SAME message and clear stand on the issues and people whom aren't afarid to stand up to there party if they need too. Unlike Obama whom has never stood up against his.
-
I guess I had to pick one of the only two options but I am conseravtive.
