  1. I know I screw spelling up all the time.
  2. No I am not someone who bitches about the lounge area, and don't need freebies. It is a two way street. If they have a chair to sit on and a knowledgeable sales staff (may not know as much as me) but still know the product I don't care. I understand you get what you pay for and trust me I get a good deal on a car and take it in the pants on the service.
  3. Very interesting sounds like what GM wants to happen when an American walks into an American Buick dealer. Sort of reminds of how a Lexus dealer works in America. Interesting GM is doing even better than I thought possible in China.
  4. Actually I like the gold bowtie. It matches the trucks as well. It eludes class I think.
  5. 68 makes another good point. I found this out years ago.
  6. My first GM hybrid ever (on the streets) a white Saturn Aura Hybrid, it was snazy driven by some hot chick.
  7. Darn this thing looks sharp. I had a hunch and if GM has a brain you will see this sometime in mid-late 2009. I am betting look at how EARLY the offical photos are being released. GM you can almost give yourselfs another pat on the back, ahhh let me get a look at the interior before I make my final judgement.
  8. I have a Mr. Coffee and a deck to drink it on. What more do I need?
  9. I prefer a coupe most often. For my life and family I most always go sedan. That is not to say I wouldn't get a coupe someday. The Cobalt/G5 look way better as a coupe than a sedan. Unless you get an LTZ or SS Sedan I wouldn't even consider one.
  10. I actually like the hand-brake I think it is cool personally.
  11. Trust me O.C. I know plenty about dealers, they make money on service and over-pricing parts. If I can't get a good deal on a car then forget them. If they make more than $500 on me they are making too much money. Sure some pig dealers want to and do make more, but when I buy a car I don't want to get screwed. Wonder why I ended up with a purple Torrent because it was a deal. When you sell a car you sell your service and take the car back there. Once again if a dealer needs to make more than that on a car then they can stick it and not "get another customer to screw on service" then that is there problem. Then again I am old school. One salesmen only made $50 bucks off me but they got a customer and I got "screwed on service" so they made it up trust me. Then again if you work for a dealer $500 for only two hours of a sales persons time seems like good money to me. Oh and I understand overhead, don't sell me the typical poor car dealer line I got that run-around when I got my Bonneville. You think dealers make alot off of me when I buy? Hell no but I am loyal and bring my cars back for service that is when they make there money back. If you can't make money on service then your obviously doing something else wrong. Ultimately your hurting yourself and losing my buisness I have had dealers treat me like that and I DON'T buy there. If you work at one that is like that I wouldn't do buisness with them. Sorry. I am a hard-ass. And an even tighter one.
  12. More than 3 I am sure.
  13. I want to do something similar to a guy a know whom is a "greenie" and has a gen 1 Prius and drive buy in a Lucerne Blue 1972 GTO Hardtop with sports stripe and honeycombs paired to a Muncie 4spd. backed to a 455 HO and leave a black patch of rubber on the blvd. he lives on and say f*ck you and your hybrid. Drive a real car and eat my dust you smug f*ck.
  14. Great if it helps sell cars who cares. These are the prices GM should just put on the cars to begin with. If a dealer makes more than $500 on me than they are making to much. Yeah somebody will tell me there in buisness to make money, and I am out to save myself my money. Plus I come back and pay for the overpriced service. This is good for dealers even if they bitch about the profit and for GM because the market right now is REALLY slow. Hell I can get a new DTS V8 stripped for 35K that is tempting.
  15. GM makes another smart move. How can they do this to me, they make a smart choice and make 2 other stupid ones. I just hope it is paired to the six-speed autobox. Hopefully they only give it 285hp and let a little room between the CTS DI and G8 DI. I wouldn't stick a 4cyl. in anything bigger than a midsize.
  16. I can Pontiac deserves the G8. Other than that it is a good idea.
  17. Pontiac is not a lost cause or a waste of money. Someone could have said that about Saturn, Buick and even Cadillac at one time too. With the a new G6 and G5 Pontiac would be set.
  18. That is a quality Toyota I mean when they actually made a decent car. So congrats on that just promise don't trade it for another Toyota.
  19. Nice looking Buick's.
  20. Pontiac is so a brand with some much promise it isn't even funny. I have a feeling this new MCE is more than just a face-lift. I have a feeling we will be seeing a new one in a few years like less than 2. The G8 is a great product, add a wagon the G5 if it actually was restyled right to not look like a Cruze or Cobalt. A Torrent that is a sporty small CUV makes sense and Pontiac can sell it. Who says Pontiac needs all cars. As for the Solstice keep it and kill the Sky. Vibe keep this one but a GM Ecotec wouldn't hurt. Then bring a G3 and with the price of gas it would sell.
  21. Do we know the fate of Saturn, Saab, Pontiac, Buick or GMC yet? Or is it a rumor?
  22. Anyone whom wants BPG to die is stupid. Just kill off Hummer and get out some decent cars even if they are platform mates. With different styling it would be a totally different car to the average passer by.
  23. Smart. 2008 STS4 DI V6 that I got to ride in. Sweet a$$ car.
  24. Awww I like that. What in the hell is it? And what is under the hood?
  25. For some reason I think we are getting a new interior and this car just has the front tacked on.
