Do any of the 2.0T from any manufacturer get the mpg they're rated for? I mean every company offers a 2.0T at this point, including MB, BMW, Audi(I guess they're going to a 1.8t?). Do any of those get the job done? -

One of the two links provided said it was not in production yet, still building the site unless this is outdated info, but even then, they should be able to ramp better than if the building part is done. Scroll way down towards the bottom and there is a little more info on the Gigafactory. It's pretty amazing how large it will be and how small what IS there really is in comparison. Yeah I saw the driver rear lock up for just a second. Could be many things but on that turn it is the inside tire so might be as simple as a tad too much rear brake dialed in. It really did take a decent hit and I know we didn't see the wrecked side much but still seemed pretty solid. -

Not a good era for cars.. but doing a little research I came up with either a Bronco(because they're just gnarly and really cool to me) or a Mercedes 190E 2.3-16(because it's just an awesome car and the competition it brought on with BMW was pretty epic. http://www.motortrend.com/news/13q1-mercedes-benz-190e-vs-bmw-m3/ It's a small car for sure at only 174.4 X 67.2 X 56 (L x W x H). For comparison the ATS sedan I'm looking at is only 183″ L x 71″ W x 56″ H and it's not a big car. I think the smallness would make me at home and the capabilities of the 3030lb car would make it a blast running to the red line north of 7000rpm. Ps. I don't know why it started spacing my lines like this but I don't know how to change it back.. It must have kept the formatting from a copy and paste.

Would You Rather a Cleanly modified Mazda RX8 or a 1978 Camaro Z/28

I think I'm with Drew here. That's possibly the only gen Camaro that never really did anything for me(okay not a huge fan of the 5th gen either but that's for another time) and I always thought the RX-8 was a pretty sharp car and a few small mods would clean up the look fairly easily. I also agree with Molty, 3rd gen RX-7 is hands down my favorite but that's not included(NOR ARE THE '74-'77s!!) but it would be tough to pass up some V8.. I think if I drove both bone stock I would enjoy the Mazda more and then some clean and simple mods would make me like it a lot more. So while looking for some pics of some RX-8s I came across these first two.. good lord. I don't understand this "stance" thing. I mean they literally look like they broke $h!. Now for some that I would actually like to own. -
Ummmm……. I don't see it as an issue at all because at this price level the car is custom made to exactly what I want and if I got in it and there were all sorts of misalignment issues I'd just tell them to do it again and pick it up in a few weeks and in the mean time I'd be rolling around in my last gen Maybach.

Somebody turn the defroster on inside of that CT6.. looks a little misty in there! The only thing I don't like about that S Class pic is the GLOSSY wood. Style and looks-wise I think they are on par with each other because that is all personal preference how things are laid out and where controls and vents are. One could very well think the monster screens and circle vents look way better and classier on the S Class and vise versa. Look how much wider the center console is on the CT6 rather than the S Class. Is that extra space in the S Class in a wider seat? or is the CT6 rocking narrower seats? Orrrr is the CT6 actually wider than the S Class? Or another variation because there are all sorts of combos with those three scenarios. Edit: WHOOPS!!! I didn't realize that was an Escalade interior..

There was a comment on that page that I thought was worthy of rehashing.. "Why are they comparing this car to the S class, 7 Series and A8 when Cadillac explicitly states that it is not meant to compete with those cars? Cadillac states that a competitor to that class will not arrive until the end of the decade. This article seems like a childish attempt at proving that the car does not compete with cars it was not designed to compete with."

Looks like it can no longer be a luxury car if it is FWD.. such a shame.. On a brighter note, the Camaro z/28 is officially a luxury car as we saw it testing at The 'Ring!

One could say Ayatollah Ali Khamenie comments are a cheap shot Yes they could and should. They could also say that this information was not worth anyone's time in the first place and really not worth spreading around the internet but hey, some folks have to do what they do. At least he didn't start a thread for this crap lol

I think the 30k price gap says a lot too.. Cadillac will make a true flagship to compete with the S Class eventually. And to me... the CT6 is freakin awesome. It would hard not to at least involve it in a decision making process. But I guess when you're spending that kind of money the decision is made before even seeing what each make has to offer. The buyer either leaves the house thinking "I'm getting a new Benz today" or "I'm getting a new Caddy today".

When was the last time one of those engines was brand spankin new though? Are any of them new? Or are they all just becoming outdated and outperformed but the smaller turbo motors like everything else? I have a hard time thinking anybody at Cadillac or GM cares about Bently or Rolls. The G3 probably more so but there is still no point in a V12 anymore. Not unless it is being utilized for absurd things like the Vernon's W16. Your standard V12 doesn't even sound that great but that's just my opinion. -

Oh I completely understand it is functional and will make for one bad-ass car I just don't think it looks the greatest, mostly just the wing. I'm pretty sure the whole "race car bits" are stylish. You don't see as many people taking tings off their cars as much as people adding things to make them look more like race cars. I liked what GM did with the last Z/28 and the Z06 when it comes to the aero-bits. They kept the spoiler attached to the trunk lids and there weren't the "as gaudy" winglets on the front fascia. The more I look at it the more It doesn't look bad but just a tad over done, even though it is all clearly functional. Spoiler is just too big, and same w/ the front fascia..just too much. If it was all toned back a little it would look better, imo. -
You legitimately know me. Black, red leather, Performance Package that includes the LED headlight/fog light set up and 18's.. That would be THE one I'd want. Also, I looked at other ATSs in your zipcode for $h!s.. There are more at reasonable prices up that way. Like, quite a few. Like this one. Cadillacs are cheaper to own and maintain than anything from Germany.... not just the premium brands.... keeping my ex's high mileage Passat in operating condition was expensive. The ATS 2.0t takes 5 quarts for RWD and 6 quarts for AWD. This is great news and pretty much exactly what I was curious about. Thank you! Damn, well with it being dropped into '16s I'd have to assume before it dropped into a price range I was comfortable with it would be another 2 years. I guess I'll have to drive one for myself to see if it is really that much better. I would have to believe it is.

That was definitely my favorite part of the car, just how it immediately felt..right.. My Escape is more like the last little bit there.. passenger that happens to be driving.
