  1. Do i smell a "guess what I bought" thread"? coming?!?
  2. lol I saw your post over at MT and thought the same thing..bring'r here! The 458 is just a gorgeous car that makes wonderful sounds. It was instantly one of the prettiest cars I've ever seen and I think its looks will always be there for me. The NSX looks a little too computer generated and less sculpted. 458
  3. I'd like to throw out an honorable mention for myself.. Jaguar F-Type Coupe, Manual, RWD, $62,995 and I'd have the wheels powder coated black probably with the extra money(if that's allowed). I don't think there would be any way I could choose a 340hp supercharged V6 over the GT350's 5.2 and 526hp but I absolutely LOVE the looks of the F-Type Coupe so I had to give it some props..
  4. I don't think it would be any easier to bolt on a massive turbo to the 2.0 as it would the 3.6 because everything would have to change in terms of piping and intercooling anyway.
  5. ^ Cayman S. I like it!
  6. LOL, When your 6'6" tall 300lbs, the SS is a sporty coupe to me! OK, then I have to copy El Kabong Challenger Hellcat Plum Crazy. PlumCrazyHellcatFront.jpg PlumCrazyHellcatBack.jpg Course being a UW Dawg Fan Purple is my colleges Color! Hahahaha good point! I guess being a lil fella at 5'8" everything is a sedan to me! That's one gnarly car and I LOVE that color!
  7. I think it would be a tough choice between these two gems. I think the GT350/R would take the cake as this would strictly be a toy car but I wouldn't count out the C63 Coupe.
  8. ^ dfelt, dfelt, dfelt.... sporty coupes!!
  9. DOH! Stew is right! Ha I didn't even realize I typed "C" instead of "E"!
  10. Sound like it Seems to be at an interesting middle ground of the drive line. Turbo-6, AWD(fixed, 31/69 - front/rear), sub 400hp.
  11. Is the new C43 supposed to compete with these guys, S6/VSport?
  12. I think it looks great, like the C and S Class. I just don't like how they are watering down the AMG brand. Wouldn't this be the Merc that competes with the S6, CTS VSport, like the other comparison? Well it appears to be in a little bit of a middle ground for sure. ttV6, AWD, yet sub 400hp.
  13. They called my bluff. A Pennsylvania dealership has two. http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/news/a28438/whoa-theres-already-a-dealership-selling-hellcat-powered-wranglers/ For the low, low price of 130k you can buy a Hellcat powered Wrangler!
  14. That little thing really is AWESOME! The only thing they would actually need to change would be the rag-top and it looks like it could be made just like that.
  15. That was what I thought as well. Once you break it down, starting right at 30k for the room and cargo space you get is great. An Explorer starts at 31k Traverse also 31k, Durango starts at 30.5k. Yes those are all larger and more powerful but as far as spacious and roomy go, there's still probably more in the Pacifica.
  16. Can I get one order of Drama, please. Ford Sucks. Chevy Sucks. Dodge Sucks.
  17. Olds, you're killin' me with the AT&T Park/Giants picture! I HATE the SF Giants. They're just one of those teams I've never liked and for no real reason...
  18. Cooler heads prevail. Now I wanna secretly pledge my allegiance to the flag of the United States of Lincoln Continental. I like this idea... Although even less sporty than the 3 listed, more along the lines of the XTS but a gorgeous car in person, I'd like a 400hp Lincoln in my driveway.
  19. *Cough* the XTS V-Sport was not in this comparison *Cough* But in all seriousness... That is possibly the least attractive of all luxury branded, cars in my opinion(if extended to "vehicles" the X4/GLE would take the cake). I just am not a fan of the proportions more than anything else. Probably a fantastic cruiser and daily driver...just can't get on board with the looks compared to the rest of Cadillac's vehicles.
  20. *taking out loan now* *throws cash at Jeep*
  21. Hahaha I love it! GREAT review, Suave!
  22. Beautiful cars. They just look very VERY similar to people who aren't us, enthusiasts. Audi is a way bigger offender in the "lookalike" category than Cadillac, but you have a point. I somewhat agree but the newest CTS and CT6 will be as easily mistaken as the A3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10..in my opinion.. The ATS definitely has a more different look to(two different generations. I think the next gen ATS or whatever they call it will fall in line and also be easily mistaken for a CTS/6 as well) it but I think the CTS and CT6 are about on par with the "Classes" at MB, the "Series" at BMW, and the #s at Audi in how similar they are to their siblings. Yeah, it's never been a big deal to me when a company go for keeping a familiar look across their lineup. That's part of brand recognition. I just think Audis are the hardest to tell apart from afar, whereas I don't have that kind of "issue" with Cadillacs. Yeah, for the most part I like the similarity and Audi is the worst offender but luckily I think one looks good so I think they all look good. lol

  24. I'm actually not sure which I would take out of this bunch. Being in the mid-west and usually getting more snow than we did this year would have me leaning towards the S6 right from the get-go because fairly wide tires(275's) on a RWD car make for not the best winter vehicle. I don't make high speed runs but the pull from an AWD car over RWD would be pretty awesome as well. The interior definitely LOOKS nicer in the Audi as well, without sitting in any of them. A close second is the Lexus though. Most of all I know I wouldn't be taking advantage of a superior chassis over AWD 99% of the time. Plus, being a smidgen quicker to 60 & 100 with a V8 is a bonus. Actually, if I'm being honest, If I can afford a 70k or whatever these rang up at I don't care about the fuel economy advantage of the turbo 6 in the Cadillac. Just looked and the Audi is rated at 18/27 and the Caddy is rated at 16/24.
  25. I agree, it looks quite nice, and the materials were awesome. But I like the way the MKX interior looks way more. Like wayyyy more. Like huuugely more. Not exactly and apples to apples comparison though when one pic is an amateur shot (which reveals the many hands that have touched that screen) versus a staged studio shot. Just sayin'. VERY good out Surreal. Either way, I think the Caddy's interior looks sharper(no pun intended). I like the lines and angles as opposed to the curves and flowing-ness of the Lincoln. Neither looks bad at all to me I think I just like the "tiers" of the Cadillac and the silver/aluminum strip braking up the dash north/south. I do know that the LOOKS of either interior wouldn't stop me from buying the vehicle I'd prefer to DRIVE the most, which ever that may be. Also, kind of random, where are the cup holders in the Caddy? Does that ~4inch x 10-12inch piece open up for a two-cup cup holder? It looks really clean while closed but I'm not sure how often something like that would be closed. Most keep a phone or something in those and it would be open the whole time. I'm curious how it looks open. I'm just surprised Cadillac doesn't have anything to compete with the 2.7 in the MKX, yet. I heard there's a possibility of the new 3.0tt but I wish they would have done something at launch.
