  1. So frisky, How'd you come about a RAV4? Did you any the missus look at it drive anything else?
  2. I can only hope the new conti and raptor come to Stl..which a a very weak show. Of course along with a lot of others but knowing Stl they usually only have one maaaaybe two concepts so with both raptor and conti being production versions I'm hopeful.
  3. Yeah I was only thinking of current models so I completely skipped past a v6 Rav 4. I was so confused because it said it was in 1 of the last 3 posts but we already listed all the "current" v6's. NICE lookin lil SUV! Are those factory 18's? They're a sharp looking wheel and, as most know, I love black vehicles! Just get a little tint up front to match the rears...mmm hmmmm.
  4. ^ That's true but I think the take rate on it would be so low it wouldn't be justifiable.. I mean a 184hp/171tq seems fairly adequate.. I guess if Toyota can sell their Tacoma with 159hp/180tq to people the smaller Wrangler would be fine with it. I think a small diesel would be a better option to invest in though. 181hp/369tq from the 2.8 Duramax would be absolutely PERFECT in my eyes. Something like what Ford uses overseas in their Kuga 2.0 diesel, 177hp/295ftlbs would be adequate for a smaller than Colorado/Canyon.
  5. $h!. lol Holy $h!. I didn't realize they made a V6 Rav4!. THAT IT!
  6. He already said it wasn't a Highlander, I believe. Yeah, post 33. Well, Olds... He still hasn't said "No" to the Ford Flex yet.
  7. Ahhhhh that makes more sense then. That is where the miscommunication was lol.
  8. SHOOT! Flex it is, right? ...Or Santa Fe(non-sport) with the 3.3...? I think those are the only two that don't have 4cyls.
  9. It is the only one on that long list that isn't an I4(other than the highlander but I assume he didn't get rid of his to get a hybrid model). I'm sticking to my guns even though I no loner have a good feeling about it, lol. JGC, FTW. Edit: I'll go ahead and ask what hear JGC..? (got cocky after saying it wasn't a Nissan )
  10. I'm not sure if I went in the right direction with Ford or the larger 2 row SUV...uhhh...uhhh Jeep Grand Cherokee! C'mon.. How many of those only offer I4 engines.. YOU DIDN'T EVEN TRY!
  11. Would be awesome, but no. I needed better gas mileage, not worse, lol. He said it was NOT a GM auto. How about Camry Hybrid? Tis not a Camry, or an I4. I want to stick to BMW for some reason.. M3 this time around. Somebody beat you to the 335i so you said "screw it" and found an M3 to your liking instead. That's what happened. M3. Edit: Oh shoot, big swing and a miss.. You also said it was not a GM. I also assumed it was for you. This is harder thinking about a non-enthusiast's car. Ford Edge?
  12. He said it was NOT a GM auto. How about Camry Hybrid? ..he also said used..lol Swing and a miss cp!
  13. Didn't you just get that a few/handful of months ago..? That was a sharp lookin' vehicle. Yeah, back in May of last year. And worse, I just put a 3" lift and 33's on it back in November. It had to go, though. We are moving to STL in a few weeks, and the size, gas mileage, and practicality are just unacceptable for a city vehicle. I hated to let it go, but it had to be done. Hopefully I can pick up an older FJ in the future as a dedicated off-road toy. Whoa, few things. Do you have any pics of it lifted with 33's ? Moving to STL????? Will you actually be downtown or where at-ish? (If you don't mind me asking.) I work downtown but live in IL. Smart. You're getting a Smart car. Ya know, for all that inner city stuff. But not any Smart car... A Brabus Smart! Or maybe an Abarth... (I know it isn't an Abarth.. It's a Gucci edition..but I thought I had an Abarth saved on my photobucket account and apparently I was wrong but this'll do).
  14. Didn't you just get that a few/handful of months ago..? That was a sharp lookin' vehicle.
  15. not on sale yet I didn't think so but the pics just looked so..normal.. Best way.. to have them in scenes that show real life.. not a bunch of BS. Yep! Those are my favorite ones from this collage as well. Especially the one in your sig and the 5th one down, silver. As much as I hate how front license plates look on cars(I understand why they are there) it is cool to see the CT6 with the bumper molded for one in that 5th pic.
  16. not on sale yet I didn't think so but the pics just looked so..normal..
  17. Great looking car. Are some of those from owners already..? Or did GM just take them random places for some sweet pics?
  18. Dang, I knew you loved that car. I thought maybe you got the itch and went back fo' mo'! hmmm.. All we got so far is that it's used..
  19. ^ Yeah I saw one driving this past weekend... I completely agree.
  20. I'll start off with an easy one.. another 335i (E90)
  21. No, I think that will be the point where the ship is jumped and now FWD is supperior to RWD.. in smaller cars****. But if there is anything luxury about it it MUST, I repeat, MUST be RWD ONLY. Or at least "60-70%" of the power must go to the rear.
  22. 7391. That is how many they sold in 2015 in the US. Agreed with you dfelt, it just looks, and is, dated at this point. When it first came out it was a car very much comparable to the American Muscle cars(at least competitive) but as they've grown up and been completely redone..this hasn't.. It's just..old..now. From the outside it's still a good looking car but the performance and interior just isn't where it ought to be.
  23. Of any vehicle on the market the Wrangler seems like the most appropriate use of a smaller diesel engine. Even more so than trucks(because MOST aren't doing long hauls with them). It would jump fuel economy, which is dog$h! now, I would have to believe a diesel powerband would be waaaaay better off road as well(just guessing as I'm no off-roader myself). It just seems like one application that almost "needs" a small diesel to keep it around(CAFE). Something in the range of 200hp/300tq..whatever needs to do that. I think the small Duramax in the Canyonado would be perfect. I'd also think you'd want a lil 4 over a 6 for weight purposes...especially because diesels are heavy.
