  1. Weak excuse as Cadillacs are not sold in the same showroom and offer plenty that Chevys do not. The Corvette is also on the way up as well making your argument even more null.
  2. Flat plane crank engines existed long before Ford made it a catchphrase. It's still a bad ass engine on the GT350R but it is not the first. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/flat-plane-silliness-how-crankshaft-press-release-duped-stephen-kim
  3. On a much more positive note, I am so looking forward to my first whole weekend off in over a month. Clear skies and 80 degrees of pure perfection to look forward to. Going to work on my RAV4 interior project a little more with more pictures to come. @dfelt I actually did manage to get the cig lighter hooked up in a better spot but I need to correct some cosmetic work before I'll be happy with it. Almost done with all of it.
  4. No I am not and I am talking about your combo argument you used last month when comparing the F-Series sales to all of GMs pick ups. That is clearly comparing manufacturer vs. manufacturer sales, just like I did with full size pick up sales this month (which you complained about). The only thing that has kept you from doing it here is because Lincoln no longer has a pick up to combine sales with. Again, we are talking about a perfectly legitimate comparison of manufacturer vs manufacturer sales. Fact.
  5. It's not speculation when you used the combo argument just last month. He is spot on whether you agree with it or not.
  6. My point is still valid. You want to talk about "fools buying a $100K Camaro" but think nothing of the fools who pay out the ass for a 40 year box truck just because it has a Benz emblem on the hood.
  7. Well let me say from eight years of ownership, my old Magnum was the best car and least problematic car I have ever owned in 28 years of car ownership. Not debating FCAs overall issues but not all LX cars were $h!. Again, this is from eight years in one.
  8. Are these the same fools that pay a few hundred grand for a forty year old G-Wagon or a different set of fools?
  9. I will have to agree to disagree on the quality. The ones that I have been in were quite nice IMO but to each their own. Nothing wrong with an SS though by any stretch of the imagination.
  10. For the record, I'm not a big person and I will take the Challenger first and foremost.
  11. It was an obvious troll to the sales thread where he likes to always emphasize the Mustangs sales and the F- Series when it's convenient. On top of that, he made the very same comparison he is criticizing others for just last month. And I quote, "Here is a Fun Fact... F- Series - 57,995 ( +12.5% ) All four GM models ( Silverado, Sierra, Colorado, Canyonero ) - 57,757" So I guess the only reason for him to critical of it this month is because Ford didn't outsell GM last month. It should be noted that I pointed out MANUFACTURERS numbers (GM and Ford) and not single brands (Chevrolet and Ford for example). On a final note, it should also occur to him that I also pointed out the ONE Tahoe model outselling BOTH of the Ford full size SUVs so it was applied in reverse as well.
  12. Part of it is their V6 fleet market but a big part of it is because it still has that look that muscle car fans love plus it is the most comfortable to live in, of the three, due to a larger interior. It's not that hard to figure out really.
  13. Meanwhile the Tahoe sold more than the Expy and Navigator combined and GMs full size pickups outsold Ford for the month.
  14. So it looks like sedans and cars overall continue to take a beating.
  15. Almost all of those are livery duty sales from what I understand. Funeral homes love them.
  16. So this is what vomit inside my mouth tastes like. Oh and pick a different name because this is an insult to a once decent car (the first two gens anyway).
  17. Awesome! I knew I should have trademarked that though lol!
  18. With this, the need for a mid-engine Vette just became a forgone conclusion. The current Camaro, despite some of its literal shortcomings, just gets better performance with each update it seems. Just non-stop performance.
  19. The new one is so much better than the outgoing, it's not even worth comparing. Love the baby GC look on it. The trail hawk is even sweeter.
  20. Very interesting going with a three banger for this but the specs are impressive. It also seems like some are a little quick trying to correct folks when they did not check first to see if it was, in fact, incorrect. I'm sure there's a meme for this lol.
  21. Did not test for dimming last night but they were actually pretty easy to get to. Only had to remove the plastic surround piece (held in by one screw) and then I just had the four screws on the cluster to deal with. The bulbs sit in easily removable sockets and it was a good thing I did this. Turned out the one bum light over my speedometer had a bad socket. I swapped that out and now I can actually see how slow I'm going on the turtle lol! I had to do this years ago in my old ES300 so I had reference for how his was going to go.
  22. LOL! I don't know about great but it is definitely an improvement and I'm happy with it so far.
